- October 23 on Lake Crescent. 15' home built boat, 1964 Merc 1000 hidden in a 1961 Merc 800 FGS. Mahogany and maple planked, cold-molded batten seam construction. GPS Speedo, tach, fuel, volts and water pressure gauges. Top speed 59.7mph on the GPS.

All I can say is WOW!!!
She looks like she's going fast even when standing still.
Now I gotta give the wife the bad/good news that we'll be building another boat after the Ace is done.
