It’s really amazing how they took this couple, who EVERYONE wanted to see together in the early seasons, and made them completely un likable I couldn’t give two damns about them by the end
Same with Ross and Rachel from Friends. Looking back at these clips has made many of us see how toxic many of the couples we used to root for really are.
@@anthonyvasquezactor at least Ross and Rachel were still a integral part of the show. Them getting pregnant was treated like the big deal it was. Lenard and penny became……nothing. Like a huge nothing. Even them getting pregnant in the finale was treated like a nothing.
I stopped rooting for them after Leonard freaked out,at the bowling alley. He was a total loser ,whiner about her not saying I love you.because she said she loved the fries.

And later when Emma was born, and many love moments between them were magic. Yes, the writers should've made them fight less, but still, Ross&Rachel were truly a very well-written off- and on again couple and the first relationship of this kind, fully fleshed out on tv, so they are iconic. The difference between them and Leonard and Penny is, Leonard&Penny had zero talent, charm, chemistry, or epicness of David and Jen/ Ross&Rachel.

Leonard is a real creep in this one,he admitted,that he did these things to have coitus with penny , This is where penny should have decided ,no more Leonard ,if that’s all he sees her . He again gets jealous of penny when she is talking to another guy , hey Leonard you aren’t on a date . The teasing back and forth,between them, was fun,both deserved t the zings they gave each other.
Yeah, spoiler alert: As a guy with quite a lot of nerdy interests but barely interests otherwise, I'm also totally cool with doing the stuff my girlfriend likes. Not particularly for the seks, but because it is either that or not spending time at all with her, which is more important to me than for example "not hiking"
