- Rothesay Place, located in Edinburgh's new town, played host to a bizarre poltergeist in the late 1950's

Poltergeist cases baffle me due to the crazy activity, much of which makes no sense in relation to the house occupiers, the house or the land.
Also this can occur in places that had no paranormal history of any kind prior.
Finally in most cases, like the Maxwell Park case in Glasgow which exhibited all this type of craziness, sudden cessation immediately happens never to occur again.
Totally bizarre.

@@eerieedinburgh I first came across this many years ago in a compendium of paranormal investigations carried out and written by Peter Underwood which he published, can't remember the name of it unfortunately but you should be able to find it.
I think he became aware of this when he was here back in the 70s investigating a rather nasty haunting in an old property on Duke St, which was later demolished for the expansion of the Tennent's brewery.

Have another look at the photo at 3.34. It`s creepier than any haunting. There is a strange furry creature on the left of centre, neither of the two women have a face and the man on the right has no head.
