I made meal for Sumo Wrestlers | Chankonabe

- Soup:
750 ml water
150 ml Sake
1 pcs chicken bullion
2 garlic cloves
1 inch ginger
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sesame oil
1/4 onion
Chicken Meatbals
1/2 lb chicken thigh
1/4 onion
1 tsp white miso
1 tsp sesame oil
Salt/Pepper to taste
Toppings
Thin pork belly slices
Fried Tofu
Carrot
Leek
Green onions
Cabbage
Shimeji (or other) mushrooms
Directions:
1. Add all the ingredients to the pot except onion and bring to boil. Remove from heat, let it cool and add onions.
2. Form the meatballs as shown on video.
3. Prepare all the toppings
4. Add carrot, meatballs and pork belly to the soup and cook for 10 min.
5. At this time you can add all other toppings at once or use hot pot to cook them one by one and eat straight from the pot.
It’s simple and freaking delicious!

I think a misconception about sumo wrestlers that some may have is they eat junk food to get their size, but they really don't, the meal Albert made is actually quite accurate to a daily diet of a sumo wrestler.
Who says sumo wrestlers eats junk food?
In the end of the day, sumo weight gain is just not the same as the more common weight gain by junk food. They're still athletes, after all.
Their diet is just that times 10. Sumo is a very easy to see example of “you can’t out train your diet”.
@An Pham no its not wasted, sumos maybe not shredded, but theyre muscular asf. They literally wrestle other 300 pounds muscular person to the ground as sports. Theyre like powerlifters

That's what I always see when I watched documentaries about sumo wrestlers, a soup with lots of vegetables and meat in it. And waas surprised before when I got to know that they are small at first, getting bigger only during training. Made me appreciate how strong this athletes are since I thought when I was a kid that you get to join because you are fat, was so wrong.
He even added the recipe and instructions to the description, albert is officially my favourite youtube cook. 👍😁👍
