The Most Tempting Ratatouille Recipe
In this video, I'll walk you through,
The best recipe for Ratatouille.
Ingredients
2 eggplants
4 tomatoes
2 yellow squashes
2 zucchinis
Sauce
2 tbsp olive oil
1 onion
3 cloves garlic
1/2 lb baby bell peppers
salt
pepper
3 tomatoes
2 tbsp fresh basil
Seasoning
2 tbsp fresh basil
2 cloves garlic,
2 tsp fresh thyme
salt
pepper
4 tbsp olive oil
Broil bell peppers and tomatoes on high for 10 min. Sate onion and garlic, blend with all Sauce ingredients. Add sauce to the baking pan. Cut vegetables thin and assemble how shown on video, season with herbs oil. Cover with foil and bake 40 min at 375F, remove foil and bake 10 more minutes.

I knew it was vegetables as a kid, and it never stopped me from wanting to try it. Though I was that weird kid who actually LIKED Vegetables growing up, like for a side dish, I had Steamed Broccoli, loved Spinach, and still do.
Having tried Ratatouille on two seperate occasions, the first time stunned me with the intense flavors I got.

Despite im unlucky not to like most vegetables cooked and hot, i would definetely give this a try. It looks delicious (like a lot of vegetable recipes) but i know im not gonna like it. Still, i would eat the whole plate, because someone would have dedicated hours of their life to make it

I also once cooked ratatouille like in a cartoon. The most important thing is the sauce. It turned out very tasty :)

The real food in the movie was based off a dish that took about 2 hours to make, I wonder how that tasted. But this simplified version does a good job letting us try it.

Lovely
Despite not liking half of the actual veggies in the dish itself, I love everything about it. It's beautiful to look at, pleasant on the eyes. The sauce sounds absolutely delicious. And the fact a movie geared towards a younger audience showed someone enjoying a dish made purely from plant based ingredients makes me happy as an adult who actually liked most veggies as a kid.
And to you, Albert, who not only made a perfectly accurate Ratatouille, but also plated it exactly as they did in the movie, I commend you. It's NOT an easy dish to make.
This is technically not ratatouille, but a haute cuisine dish inspired BY the flavors of real ratatouille that was created for the film. It's called confit byaldi
