[ MM ] tagboardeffects.blogspot and effectslayouts.blogspot are two resources I've been using, and if those don't give you any luck, finding a schematic is your best bet. If you end up going through with it, mammoth electronics is my preferred source for components.
Damn 512€ in Europe ... almost 600 US dollars !!!! I will get a solar bender from MAgnetic effects. Or a God Hates Fuzz from Center Street Electronics ! They are probably handpainted by nice little chinese boys who don't want you to be broken !!!
Like that's digital multi-effects land (ala Eventide, Strymon) Spending all that on one fuzz, i'd need to be like on capital records or something to jusfify a purchase like that.
The fuzz factory and mammoth are both based on fuzz faces if I'm not mistaken the mammoth is just silicon and the fuzz factory is germanium. So I can see how you could get similar tones

Great work by Andy, as always. It's a nice pedal, but you really have to be a touring musician (or independently wealthy) to justify a $500 pedal. Guess I'm back to trying to snipe eBay for a Vexter Woolly Mammoth...
But the only difference from the old one is the EQ? Those are way cheaper and I have a couple of EQ options to place in chain already. Don't believe you will be selling me anything today Andy (although you have three or four times in the past haha).

I vowed to never buy a dirt pedal again after learning you can build a woolly mammoth clone with a soldering iron and like $35 in parts.

You could just put a tone stack on the end of a normal mammoth,but you would still have the eq circuit colouring any tone stack you use!!
