Barber LTD Overdrive Pedal
www.ProGuitarShop.com-The Barber LTD is an extremely transparent overdrive pedal from Barber Electronics. Focused in the low to medium gain range, the Barber LTD retains the sound of your guitar with no midrange hump, just pure, sweet overdrive. The Center Tone EQ is very interactive, giving you balanced tone at 12 o'clock. It boosts treble and cuts bass when turned up and boosts low end and cuts treble when turned down giving you a variety of tone options. Of course, the Barber LTD offers true bypass switching for transparent bypass operation.
The Barber LTD is truly one of the clearest sounding overdrive pedals on the market. Every note is unraveled, even in complex chord structures. The harmonically rich overdrive sings for days and doesn't color your tone at all. The hand tested components add up to smooth, sweet overdrive pedal with practically no asymmetrical clipping. Very easy on the ears, the Barber LTD overdrive pedal is perfect for blues and classic rock, delivering solid crunch and sustaining leads. When your tube screamer has got you down, check out the Barber LTD overdrive pedal. You'll soon be chucking your old green box in the trash.

Almost perfect
Thank you kind sir!
i used to have one 9 or 10 years ago and it got damaged, i told my girlfriend about it the other day and she doesn't know that i know she ordered a new one for me for my birthday in 2 weeks but i saw her plan and receipts lol
Try G# not G on "Big Bend" and Main Riff is F#-A#-C#-F#. It might sound a bit better. On the chorus, play E with open B & E strings.
Definitivly much better envelope filters ou there Keeley Neutrino Source audio spectrum Rubber Chicken Qtron of course
bro did you write that? it sounds so much like iommi. wow!
These were all Black Sabbath tunes! The intro was a medley of Under the Sun/ Lord of this World. Thanks!
Perhaps you could have a redo with the new Dude (knobs that we can see)? Thanks
Kicking myself for not getting this sooner
Why do They always built Them so you have to step twice to make it stop 😾
With only one switch, that's the only way to get multiple functions out of it. You may like the larger format Ditto pedals with dedicated Start/Stop buttons. Thanks!
Fantastic!
The classic vintage phaser sound Awesome
Please make a record of you just playing this pedal.
Thanks!!!
Haven't heard a Supro amp that I liked yet.
He looks like he killed buttercup iykyk
Listening to that felt like I was peaking
Is that an actual song he plays or just Andy being Andy? It's cool 😎
I wrote it for the demo, thanks!!
Killed it on magic man Awesome Great sounding phaser
I had to kick this pedal off my board because bypassed it sucks tone like a vacuum, it has massive volume drop, and THE CLONE RDW IS BETTER IN EVERY FUNCTION.
Sorry you got rid of the pedal because true bypass pedals don't actually "suck tone". What you are experiencing is cable capacitance and it would be the same result with any other true bypass pedal. A buffer/buffered pedal in your chain will solve this issue.
@@ProGuitarShopDemos #1 I did not get rid of the pedal. #2 it is not true bypass at all #3 I have buffers at both ends of my chain #4 I'm aware of what cable capacitance is and this is not it #5 I can replace the Keeley pedal with the Demonfx clone without changing anything else in the chain at all, direct swap, and the Keeley is the tone sucker #6 I have isolated both pedals in the same position via true bypass loop switcher also, just to make absolutely positive which pedal is sucking tone, and guess what... Yup the Keeley literally sucks while the clone keeps the signal pristine. Try again. Thanks. I don't just say things to hear myself.
RED FANG!!!!!
This feels and sounds like a Ford commercial
Haha! Sorry, that's not what I was aiming for. More like early 70s prog rock.
One again an amazing fast and accurate lesson. Your videos are always so good regardless of the content direction. Thank you. 👏🏻
Glad these old lessons are still helping people!
@2:06 What does disabling the output transformer accomplish?
Dead Kennedys
Hello Andy i hope you go fine can i do this with catalinbreadbread silicon karma suture? thank you Andy! Allways good to see yours videos! You is a very good guitar teacher!!!
👏🏿
You’re such an excellent player. I love your right hand technique.
Dude I wonder just how many of these pedals you've sold for Digitech just in the last 8 years. By far the best demo of this thing I've seen. I've been using the BOSS PS6 Harmonizer but I'm excited to see how I can get creative with the Ricochet. You had me on Reverb buying one halfway through your video hah! :) Great stuff, love your playing too!
Thanks so much for the kind words, I'm really proud of this old demo and the medley that came out of it! Glad that Digitech is back at it again!
For Sale: Andy's Invisible Pick - pack of 12 Click the link below:
does it have panning?
Sounds like it’d sound awesome cranked with a fuzz
Came for the pedal demo, and stayed for Andy's incredible playing!
Thanks, the Simple Minds gave me a kick !
oh hey, The Walkmen!
From the demo alone I love this pedal. It's one of those niche weirdo future-classic Boss pedals that almost no-one will get while it's in production that later on, one or more people put the sound onto a hit or cult hit record and then it becomes this mentally collectable thing, for example the Boss VB-2 (Graham Coxon really showed off what that can do in Blur). Sign me up now, before the rush! Stick this before or after a chorus pedal, stereo outputs, and you've got some seriously unique and nicely augmented guitar tones. Great gear demo Andy. Playing is top notch too, good selection of sounds to show what it can do.
This is probably the best sounding TB I've come across, - but it is vintage noisy.Having tried most of the brands available, I found a Throbak Strange Master that isn't quite as noisy, - but for such a simple circuit, there are big differences, brand to brand. This would be a solid choice if you use a noise gate, - or don't mind the cycle hiss and occasional radio signals. Most of the EQD designs are top notch, by any standard.
That intro man, holy wow
this series disappointedly unhappily disconstruction.all fuzzmanias prove that we need these products continuously. i hope this seven colors must be built for version up
I dont have enough thumbs to do this justice! 99 thumbs up!
I've been using this on my board for about 6 months now. It sounds great, saves space and saves on power supply.
5:14 this is the tone
Even Andy didn't know what to do with this pedal 🤣
Eeeeeeeeeedddddddddddddddddddddd!
I want a pink guitar 😞
Just got this set of pickups. My only complaint is, that they are microphonic. Is that to be expected?
Tried the Moonshine V2. Plugged one into both a Mono 7 power supply and an Ernie Ball Volt but the V2 broadcasted radio signal. I ended up returning the Moonshine V2. It made me appreciate my Moonshine V1 even more. I happened to have a V4 Morning Glory and really liked it, so I bought two. That way Id have one on each of my 2 pedalboards. The award winning hype of the Morning Glory seduced me to leave my Moonshine V1 sitting unplayed for a year or so. When I finally plugged my Moonshine V1 into my PRRI, Vox AC10c1 and Marshall DSL20cr I realized at that moment that the range and tone of the gain plus the toggle mode compression of it made the Moonshine V1 out to be my preffered overdrive pedal. Trying different amps and hearing their built in gain effect couldn't touch the sound and speaker feel sensitivity of the Moonshine V1. And to think, it was originally called the JHS Lowrider and that it was designed for bass guitars. Years ago, it was Andy who showed me the Moonshine V1 on this video. I lived in Aliso throughout the 1990s when I started playing bass and guitar, he was a couple zip codes away from me growing up. Never would have known he'd be such an influence on my ever changing guitar/amp/effect pedal development. I didn't expect to become acquainted with preferred overdrives, Chorus Pedals, Earthquaker Devices different makes amps to buy etc
I revisit this video regularly to watch the intro
Thanks so much, this was a fun one!
More Best tan the origina
First time I don't want to buy a pedal he is playing ! Bad sounding pedal, to be honest.
Any songs with this chord progression? 6:09
