- This truck driver did something crazy. After missing his exit on the highway, the trucker decided to do something extremely dangerous and illegal. He reversed his truck on one of the highway ramps. However, what this trucker failed to notice while reversing was the car that was driving behind him on the road. The unfortunate driver had to reverse his car to avoid the truck, but eventually, the trucker caught up with it and collided with the car. Now, imagine what could have happened if that had been a motorcyclist.

It's quite possible that this car driver's lack of reversing skill saved any other cars from a much worse crash!!!
I can see ppl also blaming the car driver about following distance and reversing on time blah blah blah. What following distance, the truck slowed down and stopped. The driver also did that, he couldn't just change lanes without looking. He also couldn't just speed back in reverse, remember there's traffic coming behind him. If you also blame the car driver then your thinking is almost at that truck drivers level for sure.

That person can't reverse efficiently, so that's why he couldn't escape. Trucker should have made sure that someone wasn't behind him before backing. Not good for a trucker to be doing that on the frickin, come on man.

Yo, the place is cool and your driving is alright. You can be a bit aggressive though. But let me tell you, I recently drove to Italy through Slovenia and back, and I was so relieved when I crossed back into Slovenia. Italian drivers are insane and unpredictable, they're the worst in Europe!

Only the trucker had missed the direction here, but then the driver behind him was very bad at driving in reverse.
This is Ljubljana-jug highway entrance, just about 100 m from the semaphorized crossroad, so the speeds there were low and not dangerous at all.
There would be no incident if the trucker would continue driving 5 km to the next exit or if the car driver knew how to drive in reverse.
Who tf teaches u to drive fast in reverse? When u drive in reverse, it's supposed to be slow n cautious since there is traffic behind u, not driving as if ur about to be hit by a truck. Let's see u how u drive in reverse on a road that isn't even straight when about to be hit by a fkin truck, bc it's easy to talk from behind but 100 times harder to actually do what u comment that person should've done n doesn't have the right skills. Let's test it if YOU really can do in the exact same context what u say that driver can't do :)

Done😂, the (small) truck reverse until went over my front wheel. Never stay or stop on truck blind spot. Even if is not supposed to go backwards like in this case

Ofc, but sometimes it might be inevitable depending on how suddenly the truck driver stops. We can't know exactly solely based on this video if the car driver was too close to the truck driver

Also, he was supposed to do that quickly since that truck was getting close to him quite fast. Just imagine that truck reversing towards u. Are you sure you would've reversed without messing it all up n without being hit by that truck sooner or later? Should I also mention the fact he should've kept reversing for way longer than that until the truck driver could make it to his missed exit. Should I also mention that a collision with a vehicle approaching from behind on that road was also likely to happen especially since there was only one lane on their side of the road n overtaking couldn't be legally done (which is why that car didn't do it in the first place)?
I think that a motorcyclist would have enough agility to zip around the truck without any trouble, something a car can’t do. People like you worry about the most bizarre things, honestly, why would that even cross your mind?

When a fkin truck reverses towards u, using the horn is rather the 2nd option after putting it in reverse n controlling the wheel especially when you are on a bend to escape being flattened

Fkin watch the video. See that continuous white line on their side of the road? That means overtaking is not allowed n u can also tell why: bc they were on a bend. Also, that car was too close to the truck driver to be able to overtake even in good time before stopping at that moment or see beyond that truck to illegally overtake him

You need to keep proper distance from a tractor trailer I’m sorry but if he’s backing up, you should be backing up but apparently he didn’t know how to cause he was backing into the rail but people need to cut that truck some slack too, because if he gets down in there, it might take him an hour to get back around and everything a trucker does is under a clock.

Well your scenario of a substitution vehicle has no merit. A motorcycle can easily go around the truck and get out the trucks path, unlike the small car. Why didn’t the car honk its horn?
