- Semi-Truck Loses Back Wheels Trying to Turn Around Safety Barriers
A semi-truck lost its four back wheels after struggling to complete a turn around safety barriers in Doral, Florida, on May 20.
Video shared by Jorge L Alvarez documents the large truck struggling to turn as a safety bollard was caught beneath its container, blocking its back wheels. After several attempts to readjust, the driver eventually plows forward, and the truck dramatically loses its hind four wheels in the process.
Alvarez told Storyful the incident occurred when he and his coworker arrived to the office in the morning. He added that it took the whole day for the vehicle’s remains to be removed and towed away.

He definitely destroyed that trailer out of frustration. This guy has some serious anger problems and should not be behind the wheel of a semi.

How would you know that he is frustrated though? How do you even know that the person is a "he"? Lol

Hats off to the contractor that put the pole there. It held its ground!
bollards ALWAYS win. When installed correctly, there is actually a rebar framing up underneath that actually makes the surrounding concrete mesh reinforce the bollard in place. It's not just putting a pole in a hole in the ground and hoping it will work.

As a fellow trucker, i can absolutely attest that this driver is "so over" driving 18 wheelers for a living.

He turned that 18-wheeler into a 10-wheeler in only a few seconds. Amazing talent.

Better yet, he rolled away and got the F on.
I imagine he saved quite a bit on the turn pike, since they charge per axel and he/she just dumped two of them.

As a truck driver, I 100% understand the mindset this driver was in, total frustration moment, just done with everything. Probably drove all night long too. It's really important to know when to take the keys out and breath, unfortunately this guy couldn't identify that.
Agreed. It's easy for 99% of idiots to comment here how he did a stupid thing, but I can 100% see myself in that situation. What we didn't see were the events that lead to this meltdown.
Come on, so a surgeon can rip your heart off just because he had a bad day? There is absolutely no excuse to what this guy did. I'm a truck driver as well. He just needed to back off a little and take a wider turn

"The frustration is strong in this one"
Try driving a truck for a awhile! I totally understand this frustration! No I do t condone it but y’all need to know what we go through on a daily basis! Lots of injustices.
I saw a driver backing into a slightly more generously sized dock approach a week ago. I absolutely didn't try to push getting around him, because I saw the long narrow space he had to back into.
Watching this guy, I realize the dilemma (is it a trend in commercial property?): either property owners need to give proper space to maneuver a 53' trailer, or trucking lines need to make local deliveries in euro-sized rigs.
I expect neither wants to do either, so it's loggerheads for both, and drivers need to pass camels through the eyes of needles.
…and leave most of their tread at the docks.
Well, that went from a minor ding to a $40,000 problem rather quickly.
