Had he made the turn 5 meters further down the road he would have made it. He did an excellent job of getting it back out! That was not easy after it got hooked up like that.
As a professional driver since age 21, I can honestly say we’ve all been in these situations. It’s an occupational hazard, when you are in towns and villages that you’ve never been to before. It’s how you learn from them that makes you become an “experienced driver” Anyone that says they haven’t are either bullshitting or only ever driven something as large as a van.
Even in a van you can find yourself in these situations if you're in small villages. Those lwb sprinters are the best and most maneuverable for that size of van but you will still find yourself in a pickle, it's just easier to get out of if you're calm. It's why you see a lot of them bashed up 😂

@@stewartbalmer1515 Exactly.I drive a coach& I can see where you can get round and where you can't.
It's the pressure to deliver, hats off for this man.
True hero😀
I see this happen to women in small cars.
Viral Clown I've seen it happen to women on foot. Before long there's a 7 woman pile-up around a lamppost and us guys are having to jump into the road to save collision.
Ive seen that too
Viral Clown ج
LOL. yep
Chokran
Feel sorry for the guy, alot of pressure driving a hgv now days .

Johnny singh good boss

Prawdziwe mistrzostwo świata, podziwiam 🌟
i am lorry driver and sometimes these kind situations happens .
why no one jump out the car and give him signal try help him .
And I say if something else goes wrong with the car driver helping, the car driver would be held responsible.
Easiest to hit da horn....
FH16 channel ,,,, in Uk no help sir ... people and government love you being stuck lol
@@kv8411 Nope, it's the truck driver.
@paul bean you clearly missed point that common interest to free the road.
Good job. Made a mistake and fixed it, I'm anAmerican truck driver , we have all been there, the craft is to correct it and he did like a pro.
Parabéns Nobre motorista pela excelente manobra.
Carlos Marques
From Brazil.
why does the old man with the camera not put it down and offer to help. This poor driver is prob stressed out, overworked and been put on a route he is not familiar with. These guys are heros, what if you went to your supermarket and there was no milk and empty shelves?.
yes yes...time for your medication now mr nutjob, nobody is actually interested in your potheaded rantings !
because you silly nut job you have 15 spectators standing around with no FUCKING cameras thats why
Help how? Offer to drive the truck for him?
There used to be a time when we had milkmen and they drove around in little vans that wouldn't hold up any traffic in this kind of situation.
Respect....he didn’t give up....stay calm and find the way
I think the biggest Moran here is the camera person who jumped to conclusions quicker than this driver could drop off 4 cages of milk
The joys of Driving HGV. If you have not got into a situation like this you either A. Have never driven a lorry or B. you have decided to remove it from you memory. He had a bit of a panic but got out of it
i wish i could say i never tried something similar but i have.
Współczuję kierowcy, ciężka to praca.
It’s how you learn from them that makes you become an “experienced driver”
Anyone that says they haven’t are either bullshitting or only ever driven something as large as a van.
Even in a van you can find yourself in these situations if you're in small villages. Those lwb sprinters are the best and most maneuverable for that size of van but you will still find yourself in a pickle, it's just easier to get out of if you're calm. It's why you see a lot of them bashed up 😂
The guy just made a poor choice he could have been driving for up to 10;hours which is perfectly legal in the transport industry. Don’t criticise until you have walked a mile in his shoes
Brian Maguire could have been on duty for longer than that, and if his driving time is already at 10 hours then he cant drive anywhere else until after.a daily rest period.
I have walked the mile look at the road lay out why would you attempt that shocking
Brian Maguire Driver regs are 4 and a half hours and a 45min break followed by 4 and half hours driving and another break for the evening. You can only extend to 10hrs twice in a working week. That extra hour is for absolute need or emergencies.

Nice save ...
Pat on the back.to the fella.
What do you think! The milk on the shelves born there? Drop the cam and help him!
We've got tight roads in the uk, wagon drivers have to deal with a lot of bad roads and car drivers too. When they make mistakes we need to give them the time to review the situation.
This is Moran! 12 shops on milk run , very hard work.
Only realised at the end of the video that's Stockport. That is a bit of a dodgy manoeuvre to do on the A6.
He was at most 5min , everyone is in such a rush, big deal, he dealt with the mistake
When your snake has grown to big on your phone screen
Illegal Uturn clearly in an area where the signposting was poor not indicating a closed road. Rarely in the instance of road closures are the diversions suitable for all vehicles. This was most likely the drivers only option.
And I too have my class 1,but the driver was (trying) to perform an illegal manoeuvre which apart from the obvious (to most people) traffic disruption, it could have also resulted in injury, or maybe a copper just wondering aimlessly by
22 years on trucks and I don't sit behind a desk and would not try a move like that . And I certainly would not get out the cab with my pants undone lol .
david sutton i want to be a trucker
iam a fish truck driver once I have the same experience it's really increase the heartbeat
when idiots starts blaming than to do some help..
(sorry for poor English)
Ambitious!
Good recovery!
Difficult job, I couldn't do it. 👏👏👏
Fair dues for all the help you gave him . These days people would just take out their camera and post it on CZcams hoping for views to enhance their shitty little life .
Amazing skills for a pro hgv driver 5 star
When he got out i thought he was walking to the train station 😂
At the end, signs are revealed saying ‘Road Closed Ahead’ which is probably why he tried this U turn. We don’t know what earlier warning there might have been but things could get worse! Respect for drivers of these large vehicles.
What’s the point in beeping at the poor guy? He fucked up. It happens
S m exact
Why no body go to hin and help him that he can turn?
This is easily done some junctions arent wide enough to get round. It’s getting out of the situation that matters. And he done an excellent job .
There's no junction! He's trying a lazy U-turn in a busy shopping area when he could turn the vehicle safely somewhere ahead. Self inflicted wound here!
I have a class 2 licence been driving lorries for over two years and have been in this situation for couple of times
Well done, what a courageous driver to get back from the curses of the viewers !
He corrected it without taking the lights down so 🤷♂️
That bird with the blue suitcase clearly thought she could do better...
The slogan on the side from Arla should be edited from "closer to nature" to that of "closer to the flaming traffic lights" 🤣🤣
He tried, but he got out of it, that is some skill
its easy making a video. its hard being in his shoes, although he couldnt get around, still enough respect to him
Should be proud of this balls up you've had over 4 million views, you my friend are famous 👍
Good driver,
take all opportunity
to polish up his skill.
He even managed to misspell 'Moron' on the front of the lorry cabin
Chris : 🤣👍
I think he's not drunk today
😜
Big thankyou to all the truckers.
I do admire his self confidence.... Short loved as it might have been.
He really thought that he could perform a u turn on that road lol
He is a fantastic driver watsoever..
We all make mistakes. No one is perfect. I feel sorry for the guy. I'm glad he managed to get back to the first route
I had to deliver to a Small sainsbury one , and I basically had to drive right up to a bus stop pole on the other side of the road in order to jack knife in .Was funny watching the bus stop people seeing me inching towards them .
The standard of you tube suggested videos is at an all time high. This is great viewing on a Saturday night. Why would I go to the pub.
Poor driver, wagon drivers get stick every day. Not the most sensible move but he probably lost
It happens
Great job driver !
Can't believe no one helped the guy out ,not easy being a hgv driver and dealing with the general public , !
Have to admire their Skill with these massive trucks.... How Tooting the horn can ever help I don’t know...
Fair play..he dealt with it well. No harm done.
Management pushing hard.... probably 10 or more drops in London and 10 hours to do.
That's the A6 in Stockport in Greater Manchester, but understand where you're coming from.
I've experienced this.. in Euro truck Sim but obviously no pressure 🤣. Can't imagine the pressure this guy felt at that time.
Ironic the word Moron on the front of the truck 😂
I like all the experts on here... which all probably sit behind a desk pushing a pen.... I'd love a car driver to drive a truck for a week.... it would probably come back all smashed up.... and yes... I do have my HGV1 and have for the last 16 years.... if you all don't like trucks... STOP BUYING SHIT!!! without trucks you get NOTHING....
Splitter S still an illegal manoeuvre or does being an hgv driver allow you to do stupid things.
James Howard ... yeah... maybe so... but that is no doubt a polish or Latvian or some other foreign driver.... my question to you.. can you drive an articulated truck? Would you have a clue on how to drive one? And you've never turned round in your car in the exact sort of junction like this truck is your little car.... or any other junction your not supposed to do an illegal turn..
If you say no.. your lying..... coz we've all done it....
Splitter S weather or not I can drive one is irrelevant I don't claim to be some of the best drivers on the road, plus arla operates in the UK an that's a UK plate so the driver should know what he's up to. An it clearly right hand drive.
James Howard . You still get polish drivers, driving English trucks... and Moran have a load of polish, and Latvian,Bulgarian and other foreign drivers driving for them... you really don't know nothing about the UK haulage...
James Howard .. what ever.. I wouldn't of turned round there... id of found a roundabout or some where more suitable...
Atleast he made it..👍
That U-turn would have been tight in my Avensis, let alone something that massive!!
Gorgeous lorry! 🥺
why no one give support for him....its bad........PLEASE LEARN GOOD THINGS FROM SRI LANKA...
indrawansa walgama @ need to learn good things from srilanka ??? it's annoying . then why do your country arrest innocent fisherman from Tamil nadu .whereas did they carry any illegal drugs nor something . they are living and their family live in the demand of fishes they get .think if in the case 1 or 5 person has get caught, you can punish him . if in the case 50persons has involved check what's the problem, why do they do it.they do deep fishing nearly 50-70km away from the shore ,because then only they can get the fishes and by selling them, they can earn money ,then only they can run their daily life.they leave their family for 15-20 days alone for fishing,if your government arrest them or remand, then who will takeover their family.i would like to say be united forever ,to you as well as your government think and share your decision as humans. do you believe there was the railway transportation between India and srilanka ? answer is yes..later after some natural disorder it has destroyed.and transportation has stopped ,till now.try to make reunited as before. thanks.
regards,
tamilanda.
from ,INDIA
indrawansa walgama shut up
The best thing sometimes is to stay well clear ..There a lot of pinch points and blind spots..A damaged light or truck scrape is small to a person get crushed ..Most people that go to help decide it a good idea to stand in blind spots or between pinch points..
He certainly knows what he's doing.
I'm a new pass class 1 driver. He did well. We all make mistakes - but he caused no damage and got out of it. I'd challenge any loudmouths to do a shift driving an artic for a day if they think they can look down on someone.
Hi!
Is that alright if I feature this clip in my next video? Fully credited!
Where did it happen? Are there any updates?
Yeah no problem. I filmed it in Stockport England.
It Literally Says “Moron Man” on each side of his Truck
If he carried on down another 10 feet or so he would have done it
Ryanwat84 exactly.
Well done driver. I thought he'd never get out of this one.
