      Thank you! I've been trying to get back in the production swing! How do you like your Slinger? I just got mine over a week ago and I've been testing it out for my review that I am doing for Slinger. I hope to have my in-depth review out soon!

    Tourna Big Hitter Silver is softer and has better spin potential according to TW university tests. It's also cheaper. It is better than Weiss Cannon Silverstring and Topspin Cyberflash which are highly regarded. Big Hitter Silver is seriously underrated imo.

      I would agree with that statement based on my test! I will be testing it against other string though and see how it compares!

    Hello Coach. Was wondering if your Pure Aeros are stock or if you’ve customized them a little. Thanks

    • @HammerItTennis

      Straight off the shelf. I used to customize my racquets alot, but these felt fine as they were.

    I tried big hitter black and played well with it. I didn't like the feel though. I'm not sure if I should keep going and maybe get used to it or not. I change strings once a week, or once every two weeks if I don't hit much, so price does come into play. Normally I'd get a discounted reel somewhere, but I don't know if I want to purchase it if I never use it.

    How does big hitter Silver compare with alu power?

  • @sro2405
    @sro2405 Před 3 lety +1

    I’m wondering if I should string tourna big hitter about a pound and a half higher since it lost some tension after stringing. I normally string my pure aero at 48 lbs so it’s easier on the arm. Thanks

    • @HammerItTennis
      @HammerItTennis  Před 3 lety +1

      I’d bump it up maybe a pound or so, it does seem to loose tension a little quicker than the Weiss. I like the strings better as they lose tension so it wasn’t a big deal for me.

    This was the regular Tourna Big Hitter Silver right? Not the new-ish Big Hitter Silver 7 Tour which is shaped.

      Sandeep Krishnan correct! The “regular “ big hitter silver in 17 gauge!

    Hello. Are you still stringing your pure aero with tourna big hitter or did you go back to weiss cannon? Thanks

    • @HammerItTennis
      @HammerItTennis  Před 3 lety +1

      I used the big hitter, but I had a bunch of the Weiss so I’ve been using that until I use it up. I’ve been trying other strings as well. Hoping this pandemic gets over so I can get back to filming!

    hello friend, great string review, i have a blade v8 98 16x19, i want to buy this tourna string big hitter silver, how many lbs should i put on my blade, thanks.

    • @HammerItTennis
      @HammerItTennis  Před rokem +2

      String tension can vary by personal feel, but generally the tighter you string the more control vs looser for more power. Poly strings kinda change that a little by keeping the strings together even when they are looser. I like to string poly strings looser around 50 lbs myself. You need to just try a few string jobs with different tensions and just find a balance that works for you.

      @@HammerItTennis tourna big hitter silver 17...rough, right?

    • @HammerItTennis
      @HammerItTennis  Před 3 lety +1

      I tested the Big Hitter Silver (regular) in 1.25mm (17 gauge). This was NOT the tour or rough. I plan to get some more of the different types and review those. The more I hit with it, the more I like it.
