- On today's string review, I'm testing a Tourna string for the first time. Tourna is famous for it's Tournagrip but they also are known for high-quality polyester Tennis strings. I'm trying their flagship string today per the community's recommendations. Is it as good as they say? Let's find out!

Kent, you have to try the Big Hitter Blue version! It feels like ALU POWER but softer and still crisp for a fraction of the price!
This is my go to string....would totally agree with this review....I string at 48 lbs to had that easy power. I love this string
Remember climate and weather. Playing with this in northern europe and indoor winter. it will be quite good.

Great review of an older string. Have you tried or heard of Weiss Cannon Silverstring? Quite similar and a legend over here in Germany.
Silverstring is stiffer and deader. Really quite different strings.
Decent all rounder string but at 53lb I didn't think it was stiff at all. My issue with it is that it notches really quickly due it it being a softer poly.
Id be interested to see how a hybrid of this in cross but Silver 7 tour in the mains.

Kent, great reviews. Between the BHS and MSV focus Hex, what string do you prefer?
I usually like shaped strings but in this case, I prefer the BHS because of the crisp and lively feeling
How would you compare this round budget poly to another round budget poly you seemed to like, the Solinco Outlast? Do you see one benefiting any type of player more than the other? Your reviews are great!
I honestly feel they are quite similar so I can't recommend one or the other to a specific type of player. I think both are good all-around strings

Yes that could work since this string is very crisp and responsive.
Lynx tour is better ?
You prefer 7 tour or big hitter tourna ?
I think I prefer 7 tour a little more because of the spin potential
@@opencourt808 but movement and breaking in period are too much to deal with , spin isnt an issue îits mostly technique
This string has very poor spin, too soft
