haha! love that outro! hope you get more fans flocking to your store from all corners of the world
Excellent string for spin and control.
It's a great string for players who can hit a decent amount of top-spin
it's definitely a good string, love how it 'clicks' as sweet spot, played with 18x20 pattern*
I strung it up as a hybrid and I've it. Used Yonex dynawire (nylon) in the crosses. Don't care much about how long it will last.
Plays wonderfully....
I´m currently trying to find my new standard string and I have it here but I will try it at last. At tenniswarehouse there is a database from tension loss / stiffness and stuff, where you can compare strings, it´s very interesting for finding new strings or comparing.
It says that the tension loss is very high on this one, I had in mind to play it as fullbed first and if I don´t like it then I wanted to make a hybrid with the head velocity mlt that is in my opinion currently the best performing cheap multifilament string.
PS: Did you measure it with the ERT ?!?! Would´ve been interestin which DT-Value it would have.
Greetings from Austria ;)
Hi Harry. I know you're a big Confidential fan - curious if you've tried Solinco Revolution at all?
I didn't see it in the selection when you reviewed the Solinco line. I'm really loving it at the moment, feels quite stiff to me - I'd interested to know how you think it stacks up to Confidential
Can you do a video comparing some popular poly strings and tension loss? I have found technifibre black code 4s really good for tension.
Hi! I wanna know your suggestion about at what tension do u recommend me to start with this string? For ur reference, i used to string my prince phantom 100P with tour bite soft @50 lbs. Thx!
Good with Natural Gut on the cross because it holds the softer gut with the square edges and the gut can hold higher tension for control.
Great string, does not have the tension maintenance of hyper G though, but excellent when fresh off the stringer!
It is the best 2 hours ever, then it just sprays. I can't stop using it though.
Probably should have strung it tighter for more control. 48 pds: you're definitely looking for power and feel.
It was such a treat to check out your store! Glad your wife ended up taking the massage spot that day 🤣🤣
Hey man i would like tour opinion about Novamatch Twisty,1.20its a shaped Poly with a Lott of elastishety .I think its even better than gamma moto or kirschbaum spiky Shark.sorry die my bad spelling😐😊
Hi!!! What string tension do you recommend for a Wilson Blade 98 16x19?
My string of choice in the mains, love it. Play with it until it breaks, no issue controlling it.
what do you cross it with? tension? racquet?
With yptp(feel/lively), rpm blast(dampened), yptf(stiffer/crisp) depending on how im feeling.
how does this compare to rpm blast 16 gage?
It feels (& looked) like I’m string my racquet with instant ramen. Yes, a slight increase with spin. Good from baseline & great volley control. However after third time out, my old wrist & elbow issues came back with vengeance. Hence, I want to like it but my joints refused. Maybe it was too much feedback/response from the strings & I liked more muted poly?
when you have elbow problem you need to improve your technique
Hey Harry, any idea if Babolat is updating the strike line soon? Love your channel...
If only they would..
My favorite string. 55lbs Wilson ultra XP 100s
When do the 2022 models of racquets come out?
I string at 35 lbs and love it!
Wild!
It’s a good string only for about 1-3 weeks then loses tension super fast
The good one from Weiss cannon is the iconic Mosquito bite!!!
What's a Shtring ??
good as a hybrid in the mains.
Use revolve cross, to unleash all the spin. It's also quite funny to hear that WCUC at 22kg is a trampoline.. Those strings are known as super-low power, high control.
+Paul White What tension do you recommend? Going low down in 40s or 30s?
@@eyeofhorus1301 I string them at usual poly tension, so like 2kg less than a multi. on an extreme MPA i normally have them at 22/21 but i also used 21/20. beware the exit angle is very high, so you might want to increase cross tension a bit and maybe have them equal (tensions i mentioned now were about WCUC/revolve combo)
@@paulwhite8879 Nice sounds good, is it the spinniest string setup you've ever tried? Ultra Cable has the highest spin ratings on tennis warehouse, revolve very high too, so if revolve unlocks all ultra cable's spin it should be crazy I think
I tried Weiss Cannon Mosquito Bite 18 once. Strung it very low (I think 46 lbs). Hated it. Incredibly stiff with absolutely no feel. Deadest string I've ever tried. Very hesitant to try any string of theirs now.
I found it got way too loose after a few sets when i had it in my rf97 as a hybrid with gamma tnt. Definitely not worth it unless you want fresh strings each week.
wow u seem like a hater, because its german?
@@tennisone6376 how am i a hater because its German? I never mentioned where it was made so dont go making up stories. Ive used it 4 times and found it the same evwry time. Loose after 4 sets. I liked volkl cyclone so dont even know how you came up with me saying i hate because its german.
Don't know about Hyper-G but know for sure that not many people know that Tour Bite has 5 sides, not 4. Revelation to many who thought it was square.
👍
It is great at 55-60 lb it drops 10% tension after 1 hour of hitting.
For sure. I string it 6 lbs more than e.g. Hyper G. Then maybe it lasts 3 hours.
I have been playing ultra cable for years . I’m not sure what he is talking about, ultra cable is not soft
Volkl V-square
Weiss Cannon mosquito bite is thr best string, explosive string
I find the hyper G loses tension far more quickly than the Weiss Cannot ultra.
with all poly' s there are idiosyncrasies. You don't like that it played too soft?
up the tension 5lbs.
But to poo poo a string because you don't like it cause it's not as stiff as you like is absurd.
Example. First time I strung up Big Hitter Blue rough. Which was aimed to hold tension well. It just sucked and lost so much tension in two days that it was unplayable. First day? I loved it. So I strung up another frame with it but this time strung it 8lbs tighter. And it has been playing great for 8 days.
Don't give up. Granted. Strings are individual and personal. We aren't wired the same. All strings are not created equal, all frames are not created equal, all strikes are not created equal. One man's feel is another man's dead.
It's personal. But be fair.
Testing a string is not one string job. Testing requires a desire to exact maximum playability for you from any one string. Once you find that "tension" where the string can be played by you then you can actually speak to the characteristics of that string. Bit to just out of hand dismiss it after one string job because it played to soft? Dude. Amp up the tension and give it another shot. Otherwise. You just missed the point. This isn't about magic.
Main difference for me vs hyper g is that Weiss Cannon Ultra Cable does not blow up your elbow!
I heard it’s the most spin ever. Oh and I’m first.
Congrats on first!
Congratulations my son.
1,5 kg is 3 pounds not 2 :-)
String apparently has the most spin potential based on TWU stats, however its super soft. Id ignore the instructions on the packet and string it up probably 2~5lbs higher than your usual tension 😬
it's much thicker than standard 17g because they measure corner to corner, so its more like a 15g in actual thickness. You definitely do not want to string it at higher tensions, that would be a mistake.
@@dthorne4602 idk man, it looks the same diameter as my other 17g. But even still, weis canon is quite slingy from my experience and I found it to be more controllable when I cranked the tension up a bit from my usual (51lbs to 54lbs)
@@jameshaldeman9181 nah, its only 1.23 on one edge of the square, a standard round 1.23, 17g string can fit inside that box, it's way thicker. Geometry. And because of this, it also weighs more than most 1.23
It’s 3 pounds, not 2
Just string at higher tension like 52lbs - 55lbs. There’re some good co-poly from Germany that is only $50-60 per a 660ft reel on Amazon. Very useable. OEHMS is one of them. Much much cheaper than the overpriced brand named strings.
OEHMS are fantastic for the first hours but they dont last.
@@zxbillfo I usually cut out my poly every 2-3 wks anyway. It works well for me from price/performance ratio point of view. Pre-stretch and a little tighter tension help them last longer.
Using OEHMS and liking it. I play 4.0 doubles , 3 times a week. They last about a month.
