    I have been practicing Pilates for 3 years. I am wearing a boot for a stress fracture in my foot. I was thrilled to find this video. A nice workout. Thank you!

    Thank you! I am not as depressed as I was this morning when I was prescribed a boot. Exercising make me feel better and sleep better, so this will help until I can be fully active again.

    Thank you so much for this Kim. I can now do this workout and the HIIT workout for foot injuries. When I injured myself last weekend I was worried I was going to miss out on exercise. It's great to be able to still do some challenging exercises without putting weight on my foot and it makes lockdown more bearable!

    I’m so glad I discovered these workouts! I have an ankle injury and have a cast on for the next four weeks. I usually do barre and Pilates and want to keep exercising while my cast is on.

    Thank you so much, Kim - this was perfect for me as I recover from an ankle fracture. Finally starting to weight bear so was nice to be able to do the full workout. I'm a runner so often neglect the core - and lots of other! - muscles, so good as you said, to have an opportunity to focus on those. Thanks again!

    I’ve bee ding your boot workouts for 3 weeks. I broke my 5th metatarsal, requiring a plate and 4 screws. I have 3 more weeks to go! ThankYou so much for doing these workouts! I’ve neglected strengthening for far too long (probably why I’m injured!). These workouts are very helpful!

    Thank you so much for putting this up! I fractured my first metatarsal 2 weeks ago, while in lockdown!. I have needed to rest it up a lot since then as was obvs painful and also to start the important healing process but now keen to do some non-weight bearing Pilates and keep some fitness up and keep moving - so glad I found your sessions, I think you've pitched this for the injury really well. I plan to do this session each morning, and your "HIIT workout in a boot" once in the afternoon. Thanks!

    Thank you! I broke BOTH ankles and have been trying so hard to get back into any reasonable shape! My physical therapist recommended pilates, I am so pleased to find something I can do with differant levels of non weight bearing restrictions on both ankles.

      Ah yes it’s not a big injury but can be so debilitating!
      I think you’ll need to keep going with these classes as even though you’re out of the boot you’ll need to be careful for a while.

    Really nice cueing Kim, I like the bum tuck under whilst stretching the hip flexor.
    I had surgery on my toes due to arthritis. It's interesting to read that many people
    need this type of work out.

    Hi Kim - I've ruptured my Achilles and am in a Vacoped boot for 10-12 weeks but physio only starting next week (week 4 in boot).Thanks so much for this video - great to be able to work on core and hip strength during this time. I'm doing a combo of this video the HIIT and some yoga adapted for injury and I think this is what is keeping me sane!! Thanks!

    I broke my ankle at the beginning of June. I’m at the tail end of my healing journey. This workout has really kept me going. I’m hoping to be in a brace and out of the boot next doctor visit. Tysm for the workout!

    Thanks Kim, I broke my third metatarsal 4 weeks ago and so haven’t done much weight baring til now so could definitely feel where I’ve been compensating. Great to realise there’s still exercises which can be done. Where could I find your videos on rehab when the boot has just come off? Don’t want to accidentally click on one that’s ‘too much’ for non injuries thank you 😊

    this is great again. My foot is broken and bone is crushes (5th metatarsal) and I am looking to do workouts so much that I can do. (I hated Pilates but I have now no choise). thank you

    Thank you so much for helping me during this time of wearing a boot for my ankle fracture. I have also discovered that chair workouts with lower leg extensions have worked my otherwise sagging quad muscles. Thanks for showing me there is a way to keep strong at a physically and mentally challenging time. Cheers.

    I've broken my foot and have a cast on it. I need to keep off it for 30 days. After how long do you recommend I can start doing some non weight bearing exercises?

    Hi, are there any particular considerations for those with Achilles’ tendon rupture? I won’t get a physio appointment until I’ve had the boot on for four weeks (I am at 1.5 weeks at the moment) and so there isn’t really anyone to ask until then.

      Sorry to hear about your Achilles. Did you have it repaired?
      Either way the journey is similar.

      @@KimSaha Thanks for your reply. I’ve not had an operation but it was a significant rupture, so I am in a boot for 4 weeks without removing it, then 4-5 I can take it off to circulate the ankle, and remove one of the heels, then the same for 5-6, and again at 6 weeks, then I can take it on and off from 6-8 weeks, then moving completely out of the boot by 10 weeks.
