VoicePlay is so wonderful that I really don't know what the rest of the world is doing without paying enough attention to them. It's absolutely absurd that they don't get the visibility they deserve for the incredible work they're doing.

Yes, this is the one where we found out that Layne could spit bars. As they say. Here's one you may not know: :Can't Believe It - VoicePlay (feat. Emoni) Another older one but fun. It's that BubbleYum Bum song. In answer to your question, Earl is totally lost to VP, we still don't know why he left, but Tony does help out with VP videos but prefers to be behind the camera these days. He is co-owner of Pattycake Productions with Layne and there's a lot of co operation between the two groups.
I've seen this one before, but I had forgotten. Layne and Tony still love to work together in Pattycake productions. Tony just discovered that as much as he enjoyed singing and performing, he enjoyed the behind the scenes even more. He still works with the guys... just behind the camera.

Wow!!! I count myself a very devout (ok, obsessed) VP fan, but I had never seen/heard this one! But oh yes, Layne has so many hidden talents that he has sprung out on us over the years - you think you've seen it all & then BOOM! He unleashes something new!! Like, I never knew he could play the violin until recently when they did Nothing Else Matters. A violin came flying from off screen & he caught it & just went to funkytown & I was like WHAAA??? These guys have been around for so long & changed members so much, but they have only gotten better & better. I found them when they were on The Sing-Off, just as I found Ptx & Home Free by watching that show. (I really need to write the creators of that show a huge thank you note!!!). These guys & their music just fill my heart with joy. And I love them all like they are my own children (I'm 63). They consistently blow my mind with their talent. J None (I think Jesse Nunn is his real name. I mean, I know it's his name but I'm not 100% positive he spells it Jesse.) But anyway, I'll be so happy when his 5 years serving in the Navy is up & he returns to VP.. He told me that's the plan. I just hope he doesn't change his mind!! I miss him so much, but he puts out some music & other fun content on his own channel, so I stay up on what's up with him over there. Like he got married awhile back & posted some videos of that. Of course the boys from VP & their other halves were there. I loved watching that, & I'm so happy for him!!! Well I'm just rambling now. I tend to do that. Sorry! Tell Saucy Mom I said hi! Honestly, I've gone back and watched the Sing-Off performances, and I think they've improved 200% since then. I also think having to include the female singer (Honey LaRoche?) hurt them. I think Home Free gave the more polished performances. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE VoicePlay, and at this point they're my favorite group. They are both incredibly vocally gifted, and both do wonderful harmonies. I really like that they're totally different in style, gives me variety in my playlist!
