My man is out here saying "I might marry her." MIGHT?!?! brother? No. Call out of work tomorrow and get a ring, holy crap. That was so incredibly thoughtful and kind that I felt vicariously loved just listening to it.
This isn’t probably the case, but sometimes marriage isn’t an option. I would love to marry my girlfriend someday, but it’s not in the cards for us due to her receiving disability benefits. If we were to marry, she would lose those benefits.

As someone who occasionally adds a lil angst to my chatbots (nothing serious just some hurt/comfort storylines and even then I’m still upset writing it) I have NO idea how people go straight to the WORST when the bots can be so sweet.

Actually, "marking" is 100% a kink. Story 1: he flat out admitted he knew you would be furious, but decided he could just ask for forgiveness and not tell you. But what was the expectation he was going to have sex after. He actually didn't even ask for forgiveness, thats the thing. He just tells her that he hid it because he knew if he said something she'd be upset, and then.. Thats it. There's a bunch of excuses as to why he did it and him insisting that the urine will wash out, somehow - but no apologies whatsoever. No shame, no apologies, and on top of that to ask for sex right after. Its very clearly the guys fetish, but even that doesn't excuse this - you're supposed to TALK and ASK your partner if they're comfortable participating in that, not just force it on them ffs. I’m autistic myself & deal with a lot of self loathing. Once I was taking a bath to try to relax but a song I played just made me start crying & my partner stopped his game with his friends to come & comfort me & did a lot of the same to the OP’s girlfriend. It was so sweet & romantic. We also often wash each other if we shower together. It’s really nice.

Story 4: That's called "loveb0mbing". Some cheaters, out of guilt or fear, will shower their spouses with affection and treat them like royalty so that they don't suspect anything.

My mother and daughter helped bathe me my first fight with cancer. This time around my granddaughter (15)put on a swim suit and jumped in the bathtub while I say on a shower seat and helped me wash my hair and scrub my back. It is really nice having someone one help in the bath.
I love my family so much. Big part of the reason I'm still here I'm sure.

@@Emeraldwitch30 Yeah -- I've been helping my mom with her showers for well over a year now -- originally it was due to surgery done on her hands, but its continued because of just how much of a bonding experience it is and just how much it helped her overall -- she was nearly forty when she had me, and age and injuries have been making simple things hard for her, and my helping her bathe has improved her life and made it so she can safely bathe and it not be nearly as much of a slip risk. The fact your granddaughter has been helping you likely helps her feel close and bond with you as well, so you're both enjoying the platonic skinship of it, and such things really do help bolster the spirit when going through hardship, like you are currently. I wish you the best in your recovery!

Last story - So like… there are hundreds of AI chat services out there that’ll let you do different things for different prices. But also, if you have a good enough graphics card to run an AI, you can download AI models explicitly trained on explicit material, and doing that means what you type never leaves your computer. My question is… why is this guy BRAGGING about it?! Like, dude… keep your bedroom fantasies to yourself?
And, on the one hand, I’d be scared, yeah, if he’s bragging about this stuff. But on the other hand, as long as he’s only doing it to a language model, where it’s not possible for someone to actually get hurt, then it’s a good outlet for something that might otherwise hurt someone real and human.
My fear about such people (Also people that are hurting animals!) is that they some day they will cross the border to the unthinkable!😮

Story two: Back when the Ayatollahs took power in Iran I was volunteering for a group that was helping refugees. I met a woman who had been a scrub nurse in Iran and fled because she was both an educated female and Bahai, and thus marked for death. I helped her get a job in housekeeping, but HR simply would not accept her credentials (BScN and twenty years of hands on experience!) to apply for even a patient care aide position. The professional association also insisted her education and experience were not adequate.

Not the only example I faced proving that bureaucrats are trained to shove their heads up their rectums before commencing work. Yeah it’s absolutely crazy and sad how foreign credentials are treated. In some cases it can make sense, some roles look very different in different countries but seriously, work with the person to find where they have the skills and just supplement with what they may still need to learn. Give them a law test and let them do the job they’re trained for!

I disagree. Whatever strange aggression he’s carrying out here is being directed in a direction that won’t harm someone real and alive at the moment. And he’s being so cavalier about his activities that I’m almost positive a change in a negative direction would be obvious. Taking chat bots away from him would remove the one pressure outlet he has for these thoughts and feelings. Let him keep the chat bots, get him therapy, and maybe warn everyone he dates, if he dates.

As long as he understands that it’s not real and that doing that sort of thing for real is wrong, then I don’t think there’s much to worry about. AI’s real harm would only come for those who think what it puts out is real (eg, misinformation, etc).

Don’t let him ruin your life by landing you in jail or with charges.” However I’m not a therapist so I don’t know what the science behind how helpful that would be is. If you're experiencing visual halucinations and aren't sure if it's real or not, one think I've noticed works for me, is to take a photo of it with my phone. If it's real, it shows up in the photo, but if it's a hallucination, then it most likely won't
