Story 1: people never learn that you shouldn't brag to people about things you did that could get you screwd
They're all idiots, the friend for falling for an obvious scam, the scammer for braging about it
Right? Like how dumb do you have to be to admit to something you “got away” with?
Or just don't be an asshole to other people. That should be the number one point, not being an ass and getting away with it.
To be fair it wasn’t the owner it was someone who worked for him.
@@iptvclub1575 And that someone knows the story because... The owner bragged to her about it, and from that employee's POV, it's just a juicy story to tell, not something they need to hide.
Honestly, Phil got off light. I hate people like that who use faith as a shield to hide the shit stain they truly are or to excuse their shitty actions. But good on OP for calling him out and leaving in a blaze of glory.
Remember, first and foremost, love thy neighbour.
I've met a few ppl that use their faith to explain shitty behavior. Luckily, all the ones I knew were eventually exposed.
Me too. They make good people who happen to also be Christan or something close to that religion look bad. Not everyone is like that
Hospitality is literally an explicit requirement for overseers/elders in the church.
Which is why Phil should've been tortured via crucifixion. Fitting when you think about it. 🤔
Not a Christian, but I'm pretty sure that much pride in yourself is sinful
I can’t believe any adult in their right mind, especially one who is tasked weekly with the GUARDIANSHIP OF MINOR CHILDREN, would ever think it was appropriate to leave a minor without a place to stay over the weekend, especially a hard-working kid who is well known to them. There may have been policies that would prevent him from staying at the camp over the weekend, but the pastor should have taken charge, found out who gave him permission to stay on the grounds, and worked to correct the situation so he was safe and accounted for. If this were my kid, I would have gone full-auto Karen on them because that is 1000% unacceptable.
That’s a good point, the campers should be made aware of his actions….
Exactly!! If he's able to do this to a worker who's to say he wouldn't do this to a child to punish them?!
Yeah that's not Karen behaviour. Despite what Karens themselves like to think, not every disruptive behaviour is a behaviour of a Karen. Obviously.
The employee didn't specify whether they were minor or not at the time. Still Phil was certainly an asshole there.
@@anna8328 exactly. It’s not Karen behavior if it’s deserved. By deserved I mean proportionate response. By proportionate response I don’t mean yelling at the McDonald’s cashier for getting your order wrong. I mean only getting messy or loud if it’s illegal behavior or abusive behavior
for the Church camp story:
Forget Christ-like, this was INHUMAN!
You had the accommodations right there. They weren't in use. It would have cost him nothing to let the kid stay at the camp and just make him clean the place where he slept before he went back home.
He wanted to force OP to do free labour. That's the implication OP was making.
This. He’s *just bastard.*
Agreed. This directly contradicts our beliefs.
*First OP:* That was satisfying to read. I hope OP’s friend gave Old Dude a big smile after dropping that line.
*Second OP:* Good for OP for putting Phil on blast, and good or the other counselors for walking out. Phil can indeed rot in h-e-double hockey sticks. I’m noticing a theme regarding mean old men in this vid, lol
Can’t believe the contractor was *still* making threats when the friend had the guy strung up by his balls.
While outside the courtroom too!
Ikr? I'm usually easily intimidated by confrontation, but this straight up made me laugh.
(Like, I know it's only being read on CZcams but I always get really invested in these stories, so I react like it's happening to me lol)
He knew that he was screwed, so he tried to intimidate him one last time lol
some people are just that arrogant that they think the rules don't apply to them.
I have family members like that - one is almost certainly a narcissist, the other probably a sociopath...
Could be fake
Contrator: You’re going to go in and tell them this has been settled, got it?
Friend:…or else…what?
😂😂😂
"Told them under no certain terms that he wouldn't be paying them a penny." Gee that's a good way to get your wages garnished and get your ass thrown in prison.
Seriously. The court just told him what he NEEDS to do, and he just obstinately says no? Dumb
"...more"
Finish the quote. He said he'd pay it and nothing more.
Ah yes, nothing surprising with pure unadulterated hypocrisy. Honestly, they should have Phil arrested. And I hope some of those remaining staff told how bad Phil to the 850 campers.
Would it have even been legal to have a ratio of 140:1? If so, surely that would be a massive welfare and safeguarding issue.
@@Ramtamtama right, I was so disappointed that OP didn't report Phil for an understaffed summer camp. I highly doubt he would find more workers before the authorities checked it out.
Story 3: If you don't own the apartment the parking spaces go to, you don't own those parking spaces either. Even if your own parking is full, you don't use other spaces without permission (if that even is possible)
Also....if these people were told by someone else to park there. It isn't their fault. And it's really dangerous to ice the concrete. What if one of the tenants needed to get to their car for whatever reason? They would slip and fall. I'd be pissed if I was going to a party. And the person whose party I was going to, told me to park somewhere. Only to find out later that where they told me to park is a towing zone. I'd be pissed.
@@caitlinkelly1791 It's not OPs problem though. You park on someone else's property *with towing signs* and you implicitly accept that the person could block your access to your car since it's on their property. It's the friend's fault however you put it, but the people didn't really think or care to think, how can a parking under a private building with TOWING SIGNS be free to park in???
@@SidereusOfTheFallen but he put water on ALL of the cars, which means also the people who live there too, and that can create damage to the cars since he put it in the locks and such . . . Of the peoples cars who live there too
@@acemiller1898 I don't think so because his family was living there and he knew all the cars of the tenants.
I ran this one by my uncle who's a personal injury lawyer in IL. He was almost salivating. His response: One fall, and the pictures would prove that the ice was not naturally formed (meaning they used a hose). Yeah, my client would OWN those apartments.
Remind me never to do something this stupid. There are way too many ambulance chasers out there.
As a native Chicagoan, that last story was absolutely brilliant and diabolical. HUGE props for such ingenuity.
I work at a church camp my self and I was absolutely appalled at how the director treated OP where I work we're like family even when my dad got in a really bad accident everyone offered to help my family in any way they could
Story 2:
“You can’t stay here.”
“You should have said that when i asked then, because you said I can, so i am.”
That last story: No, OP, you don't want to have it on video. Filling the locks with water so their vehicle can't be accessed could get you in trouble, too. There is a difference between knowing someone did something and proving it. Right now, everyone "knows" you did it, but they can't prove you did it.
I think OP meant when the tow trucks towed the vehicles away.
Personally, with the story of the church camp. If OP would of died by an animal or anything because he had no place to stay, his parents would of definitely made actual hell a reality for the pastor.
Would've*
@@Richard_Nickerson the way they said is correct too.
@@paro4128 No it’s not. Would’ve is the contraction of would have not would of. Of doesn’t even work in the context of the sentence even without thinking about the contraction.
@@LadyYamiofLight I just sit there and enjoy the fact of people debating grammar correction. Have a wonderful day.
@@paro4128
No, it's not.
What SOUNDS like "would of" is "would've". It is short for "would have".
"Would of" is *never* correct.

Every time I hear stories about a "Christian", I think to myself this is why I can't really even mention the fact that I'm a Christian to people without them thinking I'm gonna try and burn them at the cross and why my old friend won't stop mocking religion. I hate that the bad people of society are always the loudest ones everyone associates a group with.
There's no worse PR for Christianity than /those/ Christians.
I've also noticed that r/Slash seems to go out of his way to find Christian bashing reddit posts.
I feel that way. I feel like the moment I mention I’m Christian, people will treat me differently because of those holier-than-thou types. They don’t even behave how Christians SHOULD act and it’s just disgusting to me.
@@avashnea I’m not so sure. I just think the Holier-than-thou types are so common that the stories involving them show up a lot more. I’d genuinely love to hear a good Christian dish out revenge on a bad one, but we’re not really supposed to do that.
The problem with that is, at least as I have found in the body of Christ, many criticize others with terms like dumb or stupid. Also, women in the body of Christ are at the same level or worse of starting divorces as those outside of the church. Therefore, how are we to show others the Love of Christ when we have no respect for others? Instead, I see others as cool, I affirm them until they prove to me otherwise and remember that all have sinned, ALL!
If someone threatens you with a debt collector for damages of 400 dollars supposedly stemming from a 100 dollar water heater you sold them AS IS online, the correct response is to hang up the phone lol. Thats not how any of that works, and the friend was stupid to even offer them a refund. Seriously, to even be able to do any of that, he'd have to take you to small claims court and win, which... he couldn't.. and he wouldn't because hes the one committing a scam... end of story.
This clearly didn't happen in your country, assuming USA. Apparently, _As Is_ is not an allowable term of sale somewhere on this Earth. It's also very unlikely anyone would pay anywhere close to $400 to repair a water heater within the United States as brand new ones cost just a bit more. Used water heaters aren't really a good idea in most cases and should truly be considered more of a consumable item.
Story 2: What sort of boss (well, anyone really at work) would just say stuff like that in front of all of the coworkers and just expect everyone to be fine with it? Phil definitely isn't fit for his role.
He’s evil. He genuinely doesn’t understand that normal people *won’t* throw children out into the cold for literally no reason when NOT doing that is actually easier.
I work at an ALF that specializes in memory care. We only had about 30 residents in a building that holds 66. A category 4 hurricane was coming through,(FL) and we were all told we HAD to work through it, per the drawing we do at the beginning of each year. This one happened to fall on several people who don’t work there anymore, so there were only about 3 employees that would be forced to come in. In our state, you cannot fire someone for evacuating a natural disaster, so when they started calling employees and telling them they were on the “back up team” they all said they already evacuated with their families, (even though none of them actually left the city). She started offering double time…So I stupidly volunteered to cover the hurricane, after already putting in 12 hours, which meant I would be working at the very least 24 hours depending on how fast the storm was moving. I was told my family could hunker down there too. At this point I had no idea that only one other 55 year old in the nursing department would be there to help me. All 5 supervisors were required to be there but only 4 of them came with their whole extended families. My 2 kids were able bodied teens, who loved helping out. So I come in with my family, my 2 dogs and she stopped me and says, “you can’t bring that big dog in here. There are no dogs aloud” as I watch one of the supervisors teacup terriers running around happily. I said there’s no where for him to go! And look, Sherrie has her dog here!” And she was like “Sherrie is a supervisor. And her dog is small. We don’t have room to separate all these dogs”. And I tried to argue that I had a cage and plenty of food and toys to keep him quiet, on top of the fact that he’s terrified of rain and thunder and will be hiding the whole time anyway. She wouldn’t budge. So I left. She called me a few hours later asking how long it will take for me to come back, and I said I can’t come back, so can’t leave my terrified dog in my house alone in a hurricane! And she tried to give me a list of shelters that had already reached capacity, and were already locked in. (as if I would ever anyway). She tried threatening to fire me for job abandonment, but I reminded her that I volunteered, and now I’m rescinding my offer. She then made some snarky remark about cutting my schedule, but I just laughed because at the time, we were really short on nursing staff and knew it was a bluff. She called back 20 min later and offered a bonus. Finally, she offered to also to pay to have the dog put in a private kennel, and I said let me call you back. See, what she didn’t know, was that I was the only one who knew the code to the back gate. I had worked there for so many years, that I know all the secrets of that building. So I waited a few minutes and called her back. “Okay, so the only person I could find to keep him right now is asking for $600.” And she was like fine, where can I send it. I gave her my cash app information, she sent the money, and I came in an hour later, this time with just my son and wife. The next 24hours, me and 1 other person were changing diapers, passing meds, feeding, toileting, and keeping demented patients from walking outside or beating each other up, and entertaining everyone (the cable went out). By the time I could eat, I was told the kitchen was closed and they ran out of food. Every single meal, while management sat up front with their families nibbling and chatting. When it was finally over, and the new shift began arriving, I had my wife pull the car around the back of the building, where I opened the back gate to let my daughter and two dogs out of the courtyard. They had been in an empty resident room at my job for the last 24 hours. They didn’t make a peep the entire time, we put piddle pads on the floor because they wouldn’t go out. That day, I got double pay, overtime, a bonus, and $600, which I split with my daughter
Good on OP and the other employees for walking out on Phil. I honestly think Phil should be investigated for what he pulled.
The first story made me laugh
That old man thought he could order people LIKE HIS EMPLOYEES xD
A wise women once say that "you can't scam a scamer" the same person scamed a scamer
I tell you, church-related places have so many incarnations of the Devil like Phil... it's not a coincidence that, whenever I play Pokémon Go near a church, I always run into Houndour - a hellhound Pokémon.
Do you encounter wild Lickitongue, or Lickylicky around churches too?
To push as many people away as possible, and prevent as many from being saved as possible, devils will congregate at Churches just as much as people do. Some of the scariest places you can probably visit, are genuinely good churches trying to Save people (And not ones just trying to make a quick easy get rich quick scheme: Yes good churches exist despite anyone's beliefs they don't) - at Night. Remember, a Church is only God's House when The Lord Himself is Present and called there. If you go to it any other time; it is just a normal building. The walls are not sacred - the floor is not sacred - the ground outside around it is not sacred or hallowed - all of it is just normal man built material. You will never find more concentrated evil than in a Church Building when the Lord is away from his house.
@@nightdrivenen7909
Very true, sir. Don't forget, though.
A belief is just a lie one tells themselves when one is unable to reconcile with the horrors of reality.
Saw a Mega Houndoom raid at one once, loved the irony. Honestly, just because they're Dark type Hellhounds doesn't mean they're evil. Ones raised properly are sweet and gentle.

Very true. Doggo's are amazing, especially when they can spit literal fire at your enemies!!
For the second story, there's no way OP could be a minor because that would have made him 14 when he started working. He also said he's stayed on property many times over the weekend because he loves his job so much. This makes me believe that Phil said no because OP missed a week of work. Phil was simply holding a grudge and wanted to teach OP a lesson. I'm glad OP got back at him for this mistreatment. I'm glad he knew his own self worth because as a young adult many don't and they take this type of abuse.
Lots of camps let you start working as a teen. Its being a 'paid volunteer', usually since its just over the summer. I worked from 15 to 19 over the summer at camp, usually paid fairly minimally in exchange for helping teach classes and working as a counselor.
I’m just wondering why OP never had any other plans? They knew the rules and knew that if you weren’t working you didn’t get to stay so I don’t get why they never had anything set up just in case or had somewhere to go planned out?
Been listening to you for a while now, and managed to get my mum into these videos too. Thank you for giving me something to look forward to everyday - it really makes my day, especially when I'm not feeling the best x

Yikes I hope the first OP’s friend didn’t actually repair the generator at a $4,000 loss when they could have scrapped it and made more money.
The shitty landscaper paid for the repairs, not the friend
The seller paid for it as part of the judgement, not OP's friend.
They helped someone else out.
Besides, it was the old dude who paid for the repairs, which would've likely have had to have been done as part of the judgement, and OP and friend still made 10 grand.
I love pastors that do literally the opposite of what Jesus would do or what they preach. I swear, there’s no harder hate than “Christian” love.
There are many wolves in sheeps clothing, that is for sure. People whom use the Church as a ruse. This cannot be denied. It just gives the rest of us a bad name, yet there is nothing we can literally do about it. This is what was written for us to be aware of; there will be more enemies of the church working for the church than genuine followers. All we can do is preach the message of the Lord and hope for the best. The rest is up to the individual to become saved or not.
Its night for me but hoping Rslash gets 2 million subscribers.
Same. He's part of my late night r&r now.
I'm not religious at all and don't care for religion but respect their beliefs as I expect mine to be respected. To see people in power in churches or other religious institutions always infuriates me because they smear every faithful believer that's trying to make the world a better place in their way. As a priest or equivalent you're supposed to be a role model and faith guiding hand to people but to fail that they not only fail as human beings but also the deity the believe in. I believe not treating people like shit is a pretty good belief to have.
Do not be fooled: There are many Wolves in Sheep's Clothing that run many Churches. The worst ones were never true believers in the Lord anyway; they use it for potential power and money.
I love that half of your thumbnails are former bachelor/bachelorette contestants. Idk if that’s on purpose, but I appreciate it! 😂
I love that last part, especially about icing up the keyholes. That happened accidentally to a car of mine once. My mom and I went to a restaurant, and while inside an ice storm blew up. Sleet was, I swear, blowing horizontally. So not only did we have to scrape off the windows, but be very careful about using some kind of deicing gunk one guy lent us.
Regardless of the illegal parking, if OP damaged any cars, he could be liable
Yeah.... I'm not on that OP's side in that story. Not remotely, I've had cars towed for parking on my property before despite warning them not to, but what he did could have caused a lot of damage and probably did.
@@Nekulturny Not to mention that OP took revenge on a third party that was possibly acting in good faith (i.e., their friend told them they had permission to park there, how would they know he was lying?), rather than getting back at the originator of the problem.
@@MyFiddlePlayer Signs are there for a reason, if I speed because a friend told me I could drive 200km/h on this street, the fine belongs to me not my friend who wasn't driving.

It only got traction, when a student complained that he couldn't afford the fine.
PS: You don't get the money, it's just a big fuck you to the ignorant/law breaking people.
My favorite part about the 1st story is that the scumbag landscaper, knowing that he's screwed, still refused to take a loss and only offered the original $800 back to the guy and had the nerve to stick with it even when they were moments away from court! I've been hoping to read the second story again for several months. You just made my life much easier Dabney. Thanks!
honestly, the water heater one is probably the best story in this channel so far
Damn..that last story made me smile. Back in the day we had a super cold winter. I mean the kind of cold that your car may not start even though you plugged it in. I was working the night shift at the time and to save time scraping my windshield I put a small ceramic heater inside the truck and left it on low during the day.. The cord was thin enough that I could close the door without damaging it. I also had a 2nd cord connected to the block heater for the engine. Also the parking spaces at the apartment building were assigned. i.e Apt 5 gets spot 10, Apt 12 gets 3 etc...The spot to my left was not assigned. No one had parked there for months. I come out and see this old truck parked next to me. My truck was nose in to be closer to the electrical plugs. This truck was backed in. I see the owner had the hood up and there is a cord running to his truck. I didn't think anything of it at the time. My normal routine was to start the truck then disconnect the cables. I tried to start the truck but all that happened was 1 slow grind and then nothing. Not even the starter clicking. I get out to check and I find the cord the block heater was not connected to my truck. I look up and see the guy disconnecting my cord from his truck and trying to had it back to me. I said " WTF are you doing..who said you could use that." Dude replies "I needed to plug in my truck" There was a lot of me cursing at him, telling him this is not even his spot etc.. I had to call a friend for a ride. I told my friend what happened. He was pissed, but then he got this evil grin. He said he would pick me up after my shift was over at about 2 AM. He picked me up and when we got to my place that dudes truck was still parked next to me. My friend got out and I saw him with a bottle of water and a syringe. He injected water in all the door locks on this dudes truck. That night I got my bike lock and secured the block heater cable so it couldn't be removed. Next day as I was heading out to work I saw the guy using a hair dryer trying to thaw out the locks. He gives me a dirty look but I just smile and say nothing. My friend came back every night for 3 nights, all on his own, and repeated the freezing process. Every morning the guy had to that his locks. On the third night my friend took it up a notch. On that night instead of water, he injected super glue. I went out to work the next day and saw the dudes truck was moved to the very far end of the parking lot. I did notice some broken glass in the spot where he was parked. I guess lesson learned. For the remainder of my time in that town he never parked near me again. Bought my friend a nice bottle of whiskey as a thank you.
As a Christian, I reject Phil. He isn’t one of us. God calls us to feed the hungry and clothe the poor. Not make more of them!!!
I was born a raised Christian but am now agnostic. The Bible was twisted and manipulated by people in my family and church to make me listen to them or to force me to do something I didn't want to do. I don't reject the Christian faith, but I do reject the god that I was manipulated into believing in. As an agnostic, I also reject Phil. Faith and religion is NOT an excuse to treat people badly or like they are lesser than you.
I may be wrong for saying this, but this is also a thing for parents. Don't use faith and religion to scare your kids into submission. If you do, you're a lousy parent and deserve your kids not talking to you!

Two words everyone selling privately needs to remember:

Look it up, that way you're more likely to remember it 😉
I didn’t work at a church camp but I did work at a Girl Scout camp. You could go home for the weekend if you wanted too (I was married so I went home every weekend), or stay at the camp. Almost everyone stayed. If you stayed you just had to fend for yourself food wise, the cook didn’t stay at the camp ever since she was an older lady and no reason to stay overnight. So they just had to make there own food and bring in there own food, the grocery store was like 3 miles away. If there was leftovers from the week before they were allowed to have those. Everything was clearly marked. They were never made to clean anything besides where they slept and the kitchen they used. We always cleaned camp as soon as the campers were gone so everything was good to go for Sunday afternoon or Monday. The other only rule was they had to stay in main camp to sleep, they couldn’t stay at the different camp sites over the weekend. Which no one wanted to stay at the sites anyway.
I never understand these type of people and then the audacity to say it all in front of everyone!!

rSlash, that last story was definitely worth the like. hahahahahaha
Pushing a teenager or young adult into the streets with no money and no support network is actually a VERY Christian thing to do, especially if said teen/young adult is gay or trans.
Exactly. There is no hate like Christian "love", especially when it comes to minority groups.
That’s a pretty spicy take on islam, kinda islamaphobic if you ask me.
@@RealCoolstriker64 - all the Abrahamic religions, especially the fundamentalist sects, are guilty of this. No reason to try and shift the blame for troll points.
@@RealCoolstriker64 Can you read?
@@RealCoolstriker64 ? Did you reply to the wrong comment, neither of us mentioned Islam at all
This was a good set of stories today
Is what the pastor did even legal? A lot of red flags went up during that story.
The first story is the best pro revenge story ever just because the person got told to his face why his life is ruined!
It’s weird finally actually seeing one story here that I had already read myself lol (neighbors parking)
Back2Basic: this is my MOST unChristian prayer,"please let me be there when it comes back around"!! 😆
the first story had to have been one of the most satisfying
Feels good to lisen to pro revenge on a longgg road trip
Phil reminds me of the guy who destroyed my church and split it in two. He's a big hypocrite.
First story: I'm not sure if I heard this exact story on your channel or a different channel but I've heard the story like three times two times in first person perspective and this is the third time as a outside person perspective ☠️
OP said they couldn't drive. No way they were over 18.
Final story: OP was *GOAT* For freezing those cars. The police easily can see what was wrong and loved it.
i wasn't a counselor in a church camp, but rslash, i wanna throw my hat in that when i was one at a normal camp i had turned 16 earlier in the month. op could've even been *16* at the time.
Got my breakfast, got my chocolate milk, it's Rslash time!
I like the 15k story, I wish more of them ended like that.
this is the only thing fueling my day
I’M READY
COFFEE IN HAND
Morning! (From Texas!)

That first story was fantastic.
I was born a raised Christian but I am now agnostic. People like Phil lived in my family and church, they twisted the bible to force me to do things I didnt want to do or to make me submit to things. When i came out and told my mom that i was agnostic and why, all she said was "your relationship with God has nothing to do with me, it is between you and God." I am still agnistic as the god I was raised to believe in is not a god that I want to surve. Religion and faith are no excuse for poor behavior, treatment of others, or for illegal actions!!
Also, if you are a parent and you use religion and faith to scare your kids onto submission, you are a lousy parent and deaerve your kids not talking to you.
Having worked at camps and youth programs for a couple decades, losing all but six staff when expecting 800 campers means Camp Owner/Director Phil would be scrambling to meet staff-to-camper ratios. Camps always seem to struggle to find enough employees. Replacing 1-2 short notice is hard. Replacing almost the entire staff for that many kids? Phil had to temporarily close the camp before the campers got there or risk being shut down, charged, fined, and campers sent home. Either way, he was left scrambling and took a huge hit to his ego and wallet. Between the refunds and the loss of food (more than likely they already had the food purchased) for 800-900 people for one week, was it really worth not giving one employee room and board for the weekend?
Good morning rslash. Thanks for the stories. Have a great day
Phil doesn’t even deserve a casket.
Cheating Dad story- Ever heard the story of King Solomon and the two mothers arguing over the baby? OP’s mom is laying down wisdom on that level. That’s impressive af.
Poor kid, they can’t help that they are an affair baby. I hope they were able to get the treatment.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if OP in the camp story was younger than 17. They said that they didn't have their drivers lisence yet and going off typical things in the US, they could have had their lisence by 17. This thought makes it worse for Phil since I remember being told when I was younger, I could be a camp counselor around the age of 15 if I wanted.
Been a while since ive seen you. Its good to be back
The first story is *gold*
$15,800 dollars? Damn that's quite a payday
I'd have been rock hard the whole trial in that first story.
Somthing I missed about the camp story that OP downplayed.
Op shouldn’t have been working, he WAS ON LEAVE. He was not only asked to be on call, but to *come back early from sick leave.*
Oh man I would’ve held up a piece of paper with a smile face on it after saying have a nice day
