They did it because they saw and helped produce a gem. But what do you know about that perspective your narrow mindset doesn’t allow you to understand reality.
I think it was a great decision, not only it helped the club financially, but Bellingham will be a legend at Madrid and England, it can attract more young talents to the Birmingham academy.

Bellingham is an absolute beast. He's no Zidane, not yet anyway, but he's so young and has so many years ahead of him, there's absolutely no reason why he can't match or even surpass the achievements of Zidane. He should be England captain for the next 10-15 years without doubt. I am so glad and thankful he is English.

Bellingham is 20 (and only just turned 20) and doing it already, and carrying them as he once AGAIN scored for them today. If you don't think Zidane can ever be surpassed, then I feel sorry for you and your feeble mind. Zidane was a master, but it is inevitable that someone will come along one day and be even better. Him being English doesn't impede his potential, it just boosts your bias against him. Because of where you're from though, you are more irrelevant than ever.

I watched him play for Real Madrid on their preseason match against Man Utd. You could literally feel his presence in the field throughout the entire game. He scored his first ever goal for Real Madrid that day. What an amazing player to watch. He is a true magician and if he can keep this form up he will be up there with all the legends of this game for sure. This kid is destined to achieve glory

I reckon he will be in the conversation of England's GOAT in the next couple of years. Only the choosen ones walk into a Real Madrid ultra stacked midfield with Modric, Kroos, Tchouameni, Camavinga and Valverde, and proves to be better from day one, it's insane.

Never mind Lampard, Gerrard, we've had much better players. Hoddle, Barnes, Waddle, Linekar, Gazza, Sheringham, Shearer, Robson. It's never been about talent, it's about attitude. We've always been good in Europe for clubs, but they don't want it enough at international level.

One of the craziest things about Bellingham is that, he's pretty much already a Birmingham City legend, yet every Villa fan I know (including myself) loves him.
Zidane is more unpredictable and got his own signature. Thais is the beauty of football. This boy is good and effective but not enough to compare with Zidane. They are just different style.

Considering the high stakes, Zidane should have considered containing his emotions. But if some blud just up and over comes over to spew rubbish about your female family members, you gotta take a stand. Unfortunately for Zidane, him not being able to put his emotions in check cost him and his country the trophy. But Marco would have been toast if he had tried this in Serie A, during the Milan derby or another high profile match. Serie A is quite the physical league, only Ligue Un trails behind amongst the Europe's top 5.

Whoever says Zidane was not fast is clearly a lost soul. It's like saying Messi is not fast and not involved in game just because he walks a lot. Zidane used his pace when required. Ask any defender if they were able to reach a ball before Zidane and they will tell you. Bellingham is an exact replica of Zidane. Not better, not worse. It's impossible to be better than Zidane anyway.

Not at all. Zidane was way better technical, a much better passer and shooter and had much better vision for crazy passes and controlling the game in front if him in general. Bellingham is a crazy talented guy who is dynamic on the ball and has a nose of where to go from midfield like müller for example. Yes he has really good technical abilities but come on zizou was something else in that reagard

He is super unique, kind of like the next evolution of a central player who can do everything a box to bix midfielder can do while beeing able to do what second strikers are doing too. Like a mix of yaya and thomas müller or something like that which is crazy in its own right
