KLEANTRIX hi mate , that’s awesome 👌 . Will it work for inside/saloon cracks as well? I have damaged it while placing the mirror back on. Many thanks
Dear sir
Im pubudu live in sri lanka
I wont to this matireal
Tell me how to import this.....plz sir...
Wow! Thats amazing! Will definitely attempt this now! Thanks for posting!
I’ve seen allot of videos about fixing windshields including professionals.
And I have fixed my own.
This is by far the best video combining a cheap kit with professional techniques.
Great job!
Please Can i get one of this kit please?
This gives me hope. I have some really long cracks on an old vehicle and they probably don't make windshields for anymore. Thanks for the clear instructions!
that was mega impressive. ive seen one other video where a professional with professional tools etc did this, but to see it done with this cheap equipment is amazing. well done.
how has it held up over time though? has the glue had any discolouration, or as the crack re appeared etc?
Thanks for posting this. It's very helpful.
Thank you so much for showing step by step exactly what to do.
Wow, thanks for sharing, looks great
Thank you for such a precise and detailed video. I am curious as I don't have a drill, any suggestions for alternatives on this step? I plan to do this repair myself. Thank you!
You can't. If you look at it for too long, the rest of the windshield will crack.
Looks good! This gave me confidence to do my own, I’m scared so I’ve been putting it off.
great video, and I never knew a cracked windshield could be fixed!
Great video Young buck thanks for your help 👍🏽
awesome! Well done, thanks!
Looks great! Well done, I have to try on my CD5 got a crack today.
Great vid. Today is the day of my more than 50 years of life that I know I can repair my cracked windshield. Thanks to you.
Awesome tips. Trying it out on the moon roof. The Vaseline trick - - - > Awesome giving it a try this weekend.
Awesome video bro. Thanks for sharing this I didn't know what the strips we're for now I do. I just have a bulleyes Rick chip in one but now I know how to fix it . Great job. Love your channel
Best Windshield Repair Video. Love the Sound Track. Gets You Wanting to Repair a Windshield. Let’s Face It, that Ain’t High On Our List of Things to Do!
Thanks for making video! I have a tundra too and have a crack on my windshield just like that. Thanks again!
Any update on how the repair lasted over time?
Beautiful plan to the repair glasses
Good review bro!!! Will definitely use if needed in the future!
compre el producto para reparar una grieta pero no tenia ida de como iba a hacerlo, veo tu video y es exactamente lo que necesito hacer. Probare. Saludos
Awesome video, super helpful, thanks
Ill have to try it on mine. My windshield is cracked at the bottom, below the sight, but I still want to fix it or at least make sure it doesn't spread.
That's very impressive.
Any HID kits you recommend ? Or H7R kits for reflector headlamps?
I’m sooooooo skeptical about this! Imma try it on my car here soon now. Thanks for the video and the review! Appreciate it!
Did it work ?
How are the results ?
Enquiring minds want to know.
Michael Hinchey still haven’t gotten around to it. The crack is now almost
All the way across my window. So... I should do it sooner then later. Haha
@@dancando6391 did you?
@@yup_its_ME.512 parked the car that had the crack in it shortly after and forgot about it.
People search out these types of videos so they can see how the drilling is done. Instructions can be read and followed. The drilling is what folks want or need to see.
Yep...doesnt show the only part we dont know. :/
Yep you right ✅ 🤣
I was thinking the same thing
Me too
I saw on other video that you just drill a little by little between do a slightly tap with a pointer you will feel when you go thru the outer glass and to the middle soft layer.
I haven’t done this but I think this would help . Good luck
Thank you so much for this video
Got one and it is the best I concur
dude you sold me on this one good job guys.
Tq guys for sharing👍
Hey bro great video. Greetings from fort worth tx. I got the same problem with my 2002 honda accord. How far are you from fort worth?
Thank you I will try it on mine car it 14 inches same thing crack
Thank you very much that is brilliant
Great job!
Please help!!! Do I need to drill it? My new car windshield star to crack!!! It like 5inch long crack.
Would this repair type kit fix a cracked hard plastic surround on a pan roof. Thanks
Damn man you killed the review by not showing the drilling
Naztybynature yeah agree! I need some tips on how to drill! Thanks
You really dont have to drill much, you drill a small hole, really small hole just to go from a line that can spreat into circle that is harder to spread. Dont worry man its not hard
Can i just use hammer and nail with a very careful light knock?
@@themattock NO, you will spread it from impact trust me...
@@themattock Nope, a drill will cleanly make a hole by scraping away the sides and dumping the excess outwards, thus creating a stable arc at the end of the crack, while a nail hammered down will push the material to the side of the nail which will spread the crack even more.
i got my window fixed on a ford fiesta 99. this actually does wonders, spent 10$ instead of spending 500$ at the window shop to get it fixed.
@Nick J do you know where i live? Does it cost the same in every country? Shut your ignorant ass up smh “MaKiNg Up PrIcEs”
This is the vid that made me subscribe!
Damn good job!
awesomeness! Thanks sir!! Great work! Love the giant grin!!! haha
I have a crack, on the edge of a convertible windshield, that runs under the top of the molding. The four foot connector would be above the windshield. Will this process still work?
Nice!! Thanks for sharing this video!! You have a new subscriber 8-)
I had a crack on my new 2020 car, I took it to the ABC glass repair and paid $40. The crack size was a little bit bigger than a quarter dollar coin, and now is almost the same size. Not a big difference when the were done with their repair. But yours worked very good. I wanna know if that depends on the type of glass or it works for everything as good as your video and if it's too late for me after I took it to a repair shop or I still can make it look better. Thank you.
Mohsen Alinezhad It works for any glass, however normally once the glass has been worked on you shouldn’t mess with it once the resin is cured.
When you wipe or remove the vaseline did you use the glass cleaner? Will it effect the resin?
What did you do?
thank-you Alberto for saving us so much money with this video. God bless you always.
How long was the crack in your window?
Thank you, you are the only guy, who actually showed- HOW to load the glue in.
chris fix did it also, just make some good research ...
Very nice dude!
Thanks man!
This was such a helpful video! I'm definitely going to try the Vaseline along the cracks and use the plunger device along the whole crack. Also having some gently press on the inside of the glass is a great idea!
How much time took to the compound to cure on the son light?
Thanks for guide and link in bio
Is there anything different about this glass repair kit than other types? I have the permatex kit but was wondering if the one you link to has some special sauce difference.
It's the same resin probably. If it's just a bullseye I actually think the Permatex kit id better cuz it does a good job of getting the air out of the crack and using pressure to fill it in. If you actually did what this guy did with the vaseline and have a long crack, I think this kit works better. I use the Permatex kit on my line crack and it made it a little better, but the crack is still noticeable. You don't have to look at it too hard to find.
Why you didnt show the drilling!!!! I watch it to the end just to see the drilling
thanks
Can i use it evenso for deeper Scratches too?
how many bottles of resin/solution you have used to fix this crack?
Did this fix hold up over time? I'm getting ready to do it myself.
Amazing video,i do it to my windshield too lets see how it goes ,thank you for the video
Hi. Did you get to do it after all?
...
Would really have liked to see the view from inside the truck looking out the windshield. That's where the real judgment comes.
most cracked mine, i am going to try this thank u
Great vidio thanks
How about i crack at the corner of the windshield I still can repair same like what u do ?
Will this work on a vertical crack from the top of the windshield downwards? If so, then there is nothing to drill on the top right? I have a 6 inch crack from the top of the windshield downwards. Thanks.
You would drill a hole at the very bottom of the crack so it won't spread downwards.
Dang that's awesome definitely ordering for myself and my nehbors needs one to, Thanks Much Alot less expensive than replacing a windshield 👍😎☺️
killer! i think i can save two windshields now!
Any body inform thay in side crack windshield how use this kit
Cheers up mate...thnks buddy...ta..😎🤠🏎🤗🚀
Mine didn't work, lightened the crack in some places but all of it is still visible. Operater error possibly.
If it's good enough for Alberto and makes him happy, good enough for me👍🏽👍🏽✌🏽
So do you need to drill it if it’s a little bigger than a quarter sized spider crack?
It really depends on the crack however not necessarily.
Does this work for a 5cm line crack?
What about where u put the pinhole? That is completely gone as well?
my 2016 genesis glass is crack where can I order a new glass?
Used your video for our Mini Cooper, now on our Tesla our Bullseye just turned into a large crack... So will try to use the same package, will cut strips for the long crack.
Would love to hear any tips or warnings before attempting - I have no expertise but I would love to save myself the 500 it’s going to be
how long does it take to dry in the sun?
i just bought this kit and waiting to arrive , i share opinion after using .
Great video bro. Trying to fix my windshield crack and came across your video. Will give this one a shot. This will save me some money from going to the shops. Thank you
It works???
did it worked?
Wouldn't the drill hole cause more cracks?
Great video
someone can teel if the crack was go on if te doesnt use the drill ?
Thanks so much for this video! It worked!
Wow, someone that finally showed how to actually use this product correctly.

Could we just but the vasiline on the sliders instead of around the whole windshield and how long do u leave the strips on for
put loads of vasaline on the plungers, then run them along the crack a few times before starting. just to make sure it will work and you wont get stuck halfway etc. so to answer your question, not really. also leave the strips on until the glue is cured. in direct sunlight it should be only 15 minutes, but i would leave it a good few hours.
Bought this repair kit for my car to try it on an even larger crack, wish me luck. Will update with how it goes.
Did it work??
@@alexbrock6341 Eh not really, my crack was huge so I ended up running out of resin by the end so I couldn't put any over the top. Will see if it passes inspection... If not I'll have to buy a new windshield out of pocket because my car doesn't have insurance yet.
@@FroggyRibbits how did it go?
Man, u just saved me like 400€. THANK YOU
How did it look from the inside?
i am going to try this tomorrow after woork. i dont want a new windscreen. also whats the Background music used in this video?
hello, did you try it? if yes, did it work?
@@damike4585 my crack was way too large
@@alexlexusZXpredator okay brother so it did not work?
Will this work on the crack on my iPhone screen?
Awesome!
Positive video really enjoyed it and informative!
I am astonished at what this $10 repair kit was able to do ASTONISHED!!!!
Can you comment with any tips or things to keep in mind - being that you really tried it. I am purchasing a smaller drill bit, the kit and going to try on a crack as big as shown.
My windshield just Fawking crak, hope this kit can do me wonders
Mine did too smh
Can I use that on my house window?
It's diffiult to tell whether or not this windshield was actually repaired. Outside he doesn't provide a direct shot of the crack but keeps the camera at the same angle which could be concealing the crack. The same thing in the garage at the end. The only time we see the crack the same way we seen the crack prior to the treatment is before he puts the curing strips on after applying the resin, and the crak is apparant despite his partner claiming it was disappearing from the inside as soon as the resin was applied. It don't think it worked and this is the reason he doesn't show the windshield from the same angle after the curing as he showed it in the beginning of the video.
you might be right. although when the guy was claiming it was disappearing they were repairing the chip, not the crack, of which it should work on.
also, i have seen a professional video where they repaired the same type of crack pretty much perfectly, but they did have professional tools. still the same exact technique though.
Was thinking the same thing. If a long crack repair is successful you never see the sharp line of a crack after resin is "injected" correctly, even when the resin is still wet.
I really do like the video but.... when I looked up the reviews of this product, the “same positive” reviews were on several websites instead of just one. Which lead me to believe that it’s not a good product. Once I read the negative reviews, it showed me to go through my insurance instead. I gotta say though, great content with the video 👍🏾!
Great video! One question though, approximately how long was the crack and how much resin did you end up using?
What an annoying question lol
@@froyhernandez6920 like who tf cares haha. Just use the whole tube God dammit 😂😂😂
Could this work on phone screen
Great job
