Thank you. I don't have any in person classes planned yet for this year. I am planning on some Zoom classes which are as close as in-person as I can do right now. I also have other classes listed on www.awakeningyourcreativesoul.com
I am giving a Zoom demo in a couple of weeks for an art group in Palos Verdes but I think it is just for their group.
Are you interested in Zoom live classes?

Love your crackle tips. You are so generous with your information. I have 2 of your books but it is lots of fun to watch you working on the projects

Thank you. I have written about so many techniques that sometimes I pick up one of my books and "rediscover " another one. Enjoy.

It is tricky stuff. I find it as finicky as tech stuff sometimes. Let me know how it goes.

Would like to see a list showing what was used with what and in what order. I got a little lost with all the different products and their order of use. That being said I loved the video!

Hi Jonathan and thanks for your feedback. I am going to summarize here and I hope that clarifies. If not please ask more questions. I begin by applying Elmer's white glue to an area. When that is dry I apply crackle paste. It will dry faster and have larger crackles when applied on top of the dry glue. When that is dry I can apply diluted paint on top.
For the clear crackle glaze, I also apply it over the dry glue to get larger crackles. When the clear crackle is dry and cracked, that is when I apply the gloss medium. Let this dry and then you can put color into the cracks. You may also add color to the clear crackle glaze prior to applying it. I hope this helps. Crackle products may be applied without using the glue first, you will just get smaller crackles and it will take longer.

Using crackle is one of my favorite techniques. I have never used clear crackle. Would there be any difference if I used matte medium instead of the gloss medium? Thank you.

Hi Linda- After it has crackled you can apply a matte medium over it. I have not tried it because it doesn't dry as transparent. You could change the final sheen after all the paint and crackles are cured. Let me know how it goes.

Fantastic tip with the glue base coat. Good to know that you can use a heat gun with it. Where do you get your JoSonja Crackle Glaze, Sandra?
I couldn't find any online that was in stock in US or Canada.

I got mine from Blick. Thanks for letting me know you liked the video. Be careful using the heat gun. Let it start to crackle first before using it.

Try looking at Michael's craft stores. Decoart makes one also but I had some issues with the last batch.
