  • 12 of the Best Mario Kart players in the GWA community gather for one final tournament to determine who is the best in the entire community. Tyler and I didn't originally make the cut, but Stickman and Tiffany dropped out for reasons of their own. As Tyler and I were the next ones up, we took the place of Stickman and Tiffany to have a full, 12 player lobby. 24 races, with a unique rule that tracks had to be selected in a specific order or face a penalty. Grab a snack, and watch as we absolutely tear each other apart in pursuit of victory.

4:16 pretty sure I was trying to drop to 9th to maybe get a bullet bill. I did get it, but it was way too late.
7:30 the start of Phone Guy being the final boss. I didn’t even try to take out first and just keep second.
9:53 cue me getting an awful respawn by Lakitu. I shouldn’t have thrown my red a couple seconds before. Oh well.
10:15 nice 6, but I wanted to see how the race ended…
Oh, and race 5 was one of the three races where I switched to Streetle (if that thing didn’t have abysmal anti gravity stats, then this thing would be meta over Teddy…I just find it more pleasant to use).
11:17 was trying to let a few people let their star run out before using the shock. Only dodged one, but that one guy didn’t win.
12:46 on speed based tracks like this one, I switched over to Funky Kong assuming everyone was picking the same track (I retired that monkey after this tournament in favor of Wiggler…as Funky was too far for my liking). Think I did okay using him, but could’ve done way better.
13:30 Alex actually gave that away on stream, which ended up backfiring as everyone went for him.
15:00 this race, I used Luigi Streetle. I honestly find gap jump (and even fence gap) pretty easy with it (with the perfect speed-mini turbo mix and the kart’s body itself is quite generous)
15:39 being in 9th place or below gives you a much greater chance at pulling shrooms. And I do always bag this track.
15:49 Huey called out the group chat for not doing the super bounce (where you release a mini turbo before tricking off mushroom) and I feel like that’s essential on this course.
17:06 pretty sure I might have won that race if Alex wasn’t carelessly spamming all of his fireballs forward on lap 3 (got 5th, Alex deservingly got 11th)
18:30 speaking about Alex, he really needs to do some time trial streams. Hydreix has been doing them and his improvent towards the end of the year is wild.
19:55 your shock killed my race. I n no lame the next two races upon being not very aware of my surroundings (and the fact that I was forced into dodges too early).
    26:12 yo we’re both at 69
28:10 just a tip, I always use the bill at the start of the S turns. As an inward main, this usually saves my race. No bill so I lose.
28:35 managed to pass Huey but not me.
29:07 pretty sure that won’t happen. Unlike the previous track, it’s not cramped (I do genuinely enjoy this one)
29:54 that was when I had a very small chance at winning this one. What surprised me was that Phone Guy and Huey took each other out in the end, allowing me to steal the 1st.
32:10 wind’s (and Phone Guy to an extent) lag trails killed a couple of my races.
34:10 gotta love that Jeff (that was his horn) single-handedly ruined my race and then he gets a bad race himself.
37:45 Huey got fed up with too much bs and just left the room. I can also tell you that American lobbies are an absolute nightmare in terms of item spam.
39:20 I lost count on how many boomerangs hit me at the second half. This also is a good example of why they should be removed next game. Heck, I’d love to see the super leaf (from the 3DS installment) make a return (that thing does protect you from projectiles and can make you faster underwater).
42:30 I only dodged Tyler with that shock, which I’m pretty happy about considering he was having a rough time.
Also, people are bad, so I bagged most of this race.
46:08 should’ve gotten first, but I got too fixated on where that blue shell was gonna hit. If I knew CPE was right behind me, I should’ve shroomed at the Final Cut before the waterfall.
51:30 Phone Guy was the one that pulled it when I watched a clip from Fzero’s POV. And again, awareness might’ve helped me avoid my scenario of being in 2nd to finishing 7
52:00 pretty sure the hype of the two latest waves will die down and we could see some more base game representation in the next end of season tournament (I’m more of a BCP enjoyer myself, but there are some base game courses that I would’ve liked to be in this tournament like Grumble Volcano).
Also, you were on zero coins that entire race. That will cost you.
53:23 bananas on sponges are hard to notice
Gonna skip the commentary for the wave 6 portion. While I did okay those last four races, I was a bit salty that CPE kept winning. Didn’t help that I got lag trailed in the beginning of 3 out of the 4 last races. Except for…
1:03:55 might be handy to check that back camera if you think they’re targeting you
Either way, that was a ton of fun! Will definitely do the fan vote next time with the top 20 courses being featured (along with Mario Kart Stadium, Wii Rainbow Road and two others of my choosing; similar to All Cup tour from Double Dash).

I have to apologize for the Ninja Hideaway race ending. I botched the editing. I have noticed that the longer my videos are the more likely I make these mistakes while editing. This is not the first time either.
That aside, I wasn't expecting you to break this down. It's appreciated all the same. While we both wanted different results, this was a great tournament to end the year on. Ggs.

I see my timestamp-oriented commentary is rubbing off on others now. 😄
Oh mine will be coming later today. Of this, you can be sure. Unfortunately, because of what Alex decided to do with the 24 races, there will be a gap where the 18th race normally would have been.

Here comes Part 2, as promised.
    31:50
I wouldn't say "all" is well and good, but at least the 12th and 13th races weren't out of order.
    33:36
Yep. That was your own green shell. F.
    34:34
The more I play here, the more I find Baby Park to be tolerable. If I can say the same about Toad's Turnpike, then Jank Jank Summit will be #95 on the rankings from best course to worst course.
Of course, this *is* a snow-themed course, so if you see me using Shy Guy in Biddybuggy with Azure Roller tires and Paraglider during our summer months, expect me to pick winter courses. Probably not this specific course, though, as there are several winter courses that are actually enjoyable.
    35:41
The saying "you can't teach an old dog new tricks" is a little misleading. It's just more difficult for old dogs to learn new tricks, and the same is true for Mario Kart players. Especially one like me who's on the wrong side of 40 (almost forgot the 4, which would have been a hilarious typo 🤣). If I recall correctly, you're roughly a decade younger than I am, but it's still easier for the new generation of Mario Kart players (wind, for example) to learn a course like this than it is for the old guard like us.
    36:54
I think I said this in commentary on another video, but the one fun part of this course is a part that all the highly-skilled players skip by doing that double cut, which means the silver lining to this Lightning is that you get to drive on the fun part. Unfortunately, that fun part leads to another *M O R T I S* moment for you. 🪦
    37:16
    *MATTHEW!*
    37:33
I think Huey's bonus points are enough to get him second at this point, but there's no catching the Final Boss. If Huey rage-quit, as had been stated by others in the livestream chat, it was probably because of the realization that Phone Guy was unstoppable.
    38:39
I know I said this in Part 1, but this is the first time you've gotten the Fire Flower in Part 2, so...
🎼 Fire fire, light the fire. 🎶
    40:28
Huey had 105 points before leaving the championship, and an additional 15 bonus points for his performance throughout the Alex tournament series. Such a shame that his year had to end this way. If he rage-quit, he has no one to blame but himself. If it was a loss of Internet on his end, that just sucks.
    43:20
If somebody rails you from behind with a Bullet Bill here, I know exactly what to say for commentary. You should too, as I've alluded to it multiple times in Part 1 of commentary and shared the specifics on commentary for other streams and videos this month. 😎
    46:08
Koopa Cape was so chaotic I couldn't think of commentary to keep pace. That final lap was a particularly diabolical roller coaster. You take first, get hit by a Spiny Shell, drop to 9th, then come back and steal 4th.
    See you at Moonview Highway.
    48:59
Okay I'm back. The race I skipped is obviously the one where, if I had been good enough to qualify, I would have chosen Cheep Cheep Beach instead. This was covered in Part 1 of commentary, but it bears repeating because it can't be overstated how much I despise that other course.
    49:41 , 50:27 , and 50:31
    Why do Bob-Omb cars always look so cute when they haven't yet exploded? Also, *M O R T I S* . 🪦
    51:01
Same question for the Bob-Omb car, but at least no *M O R T I S* for you here.
    51:48
    Please don't be #7. 🙏
I don't remember if I told you, but when I was practicing for the 200cc tournament, Lemmy on the Yoshi Bike with Cushion tires and Bowser Kite glider became #6. All because I had no active items when the COM in second place had a red shell. This was single-player, by the way, so only a COM could have done that to me.
    52:49
If that red had been about a second later, you would have been #7. Let us both be glad that it came here instead, since it was going to be coming anyway.
(in Charles Barkley voice) That red shell *COMIN'!*
    53:03
I can't disagree, but as I said in the previous timestamp, getting hit by that red shell one second later would have been even worse. The respawn would have been slightly better, but the falling would have taken longer (which would offset the respawn, even in a best-case scenario) and falling into the 🚽 is just humiliating when you're actually experiencing it firsthand.
    53:10
It's better to hop over that trickable surface without getting the trick if you can land on the metal stopper inside the sink and get *that* trick. That's something I learned from Bayesic Training.
That said, I have seen some players in this community get *both* tricks, so that's best if you can pull it off. In an either/or, however, it's better to use Bayesic's strategy.
    53:22
Yellow 🍌 on yellow sponge with yellow Standard Kart also blocking your vision. Yeah. That was getting you. F.
Adam said in his commentary that it was difficult to see. I thought I would expand on that by explaining just how difficult it was in this specific case.
    54:55
Have you seen my time trial here? It's quite possibly my cleanest "troll" time trial, as even the accidental bump at the end turned out even better than what was intended.
Well... unless you count me putting Father Boo in Alex's favorite combo for a Boo Lake time trial as a "troll" time trial, in which case that one is unmatched in trolling.
    55:39
Awww... Look at the adorable Spanish sleepyhead Wiggler. ❤
    56:26
Buenos días, feliz Wiggler. ¿Dormiste bien?
    57:51
Ah, 1980s Los Angeles. Beautiful Daisy Circuit.
    1:00:11
I can't tell if that was the right play by oreo or just a dirty ⭐ hit. Either way, it didn't do you any favors.
    1:01:31
I get that the right fork is faster most of the time, but it probably would have been better to take the left fork here. Everyone else went right, and there's an uncontested double item box just waiting to be taken on the left.
    1:01:51
You were a little too fast with the 🍄 to get the double item box here. Waiting a little bit would have made you too slow, allowing the player in between you and the items to take the double. Thus, going right instead of left at the previous timestamp ended up biting you in the backside no matter what you did.
    1:02:47
Perhaps Father Boo was influenced by the Great Sage. 🤔
    1:03:02
You'd be surprised at how many people I see forget this cut even exists. With 🍄, with ⭐, even itemless, the cut is faster than going around.
    1:04:17
Jeff also said my use of Lightning during Nicholas Fornaro's Christmas Eve stream was "terrible" when I ended up hitting all 11 other players with it. Jeff may or may not have been one of those 11, and he may have said it would have been better for him if I had used it a second sooner or a second later. But I'm not a chihuahua. I never was. I certainly wasn't a chihuahua then. I was Fuwawa. BAU BAU! 🐶🐶🐾
    1:04:58
If you actually did have the "luck stat", you'd have pulled Father Boo or a ⭐ here.
    Closing Thoughts
You did a great job as a substitute for this event. Hopefully you'll be one of the top 12, and thus won't need to be a substitute, if Alex does this again for 2024.

      Part 2 Begins now.
      31:50 LOL
33:36 Just my luck. Anyone else and that's a direct hit. lol
34:34 I'm starting to get better at Summit, but I'll address that in the next stamp.
35:41 Probably the best double cut of my life happened just before this timestamp. I just don't have the time nor patience to put a ton of time into things like this. As far as the cut goes, I've taken some pointers from Shortcat (who is very enjoyable to watch) and it turns out I was doing the cut wrong the whole time!! And, I'm older than you think. Definitely am on the VERY wrong side of 30 and getting dangerously close to the 4 & 0, in another couple years... Mom always said that time flies by faster as you get older and she was right.
36:54 And as most of my Summit races go, Lap 3 is a complete disaster. lol
37:16 He probably sent an army of Shy Guys after me after I stole that Shy Guy Falls win from in in the 150cc Tournament of the year. He'll never let that one go lol
37:33 Adam said Huey got fed up with the item spam. If he had a good shot at winning he probably would've toughed it out. Its also possible that he got targeted, given that he won 15 tournaments before this, so you KNOW who the favorite is despite Phone Guy's presence.
38:39 I have you to thank for making me seek out Bijou and FUWAMOCO. LOL
40:28 It was definitely rage. I guess not everyone has my patience. After all, you've seen me literally go through hell at times and it still isn't enough to get me to quit.
43:20 I'M NOT LOOKING FOR AN AUSTRAILIAN RAT MOMENT LOL
46:08 I wonder how that race would've ended had I noticed the Blue Shell BEFORE I committed to the cut I took.
Skipping Dumpster Laps for obvious reasons...
48:59 Welcome back to Moonview Highway
      49:41, 50:27, 50:31 Why was I a magnet for these things...
51:01 Alex set that one off lol
      51:48 They tried...
52:49 This really led to a horrible respawn too.
53:03 But I suppose I much rather have this horrible respawn as opposed to falling in the toilet. That's humiliating, and I would feel even worse if I saw Daisy take the disgusting plunge first hand.
53:22 My angle of approach, plus the banana blending in... Yeah, I'm screwed. As if I wasn't already screwed from earlier.
54:55 Not yet. I haven't checked out Time Trials lately
      55:39 D'aaawww
56:26 Looks like the Wiggler had a pleasant nap.
57:51 To this point, I haven't had a single race here go well. That's actually insulting as a Daisy fan.
1:00:11 That's what I get for not moving
1:01:31 Risk vs. reward and I'm flustered here, so I'm not thinking straight
1:01:51 Sums up my luck here perfectly.
1:02:47 LIE, CHEAT, STEAL. LOL Not really but you know who I'm referencing
1:03:02 It really is easy to miss if you lack the experience on this track. I am also guilty of this.
1:04:17 EVERYONE SAYS THE SHOCK IS TERRIBLE WHEN IT DOESN'T BENEFIT THEM LOL
There's the other reference. Surprised it was this deep in the commentary. BAU BAU!
1:04:58 Yeah... My luck stat is -50 so no Father Boo or Star here. lol
I hope I make it in next year by my own merits. Its great that I was available and all as a sub, but I felt I didn't belong despite the fact that I did not perform the worst in the entire room. In fact, I did better than I thought I was going to, and had my luck been a little different I may have finished in the top 6 instead of dropping to 8th. Poor Alex though, he got wrecked.

      Onward to Part 2!
      34:34 and 35:41
The double cut can feel good to nail, but the big issue I have with it is that it skips the only actually fun part of the course.
Shortcat's great. Probably my favorite Mario Kart CZcamsr outside of Nicholas Fornaro and the GwA (soon to be Mario Kart Thursday?) community.
Yep. You're older than I thought, but not by too much. I thought early 30s, but you just basically admitted late 30s, and I'm keeping the terminology vague-ish (both here and my original comment) intentionally for fairly obvious reasons.
      37:16
Or maybe he's just letting the Shy Guys be adorable mischief makers and is relying on you not paying close attention to their patterns. 🤣
      37:33 and 40:28
The item spam can get *VERY* rough in this community (and other communities where the primary focus is Mario Kart), and when combined with how unstoppable Phone Guy was in these 24 races, it's kind of understandable that Huey would leave if his only goal was to win, which it could very well have been.
It still would have reflected better on him, and by extension the 24-race set as a whole, if he had stuck with it to the end, but what's done is done.
      38:39
      You're quite welcome. 😄
As I said in my reply to Part 1, Advent as a whole is an amazing generation, and FUWAMOCO is particularly adorable and amazing, but since I would never stop if I started raving on the details about what makes them so special, here's a quick-shot singing of the praises of the other Advent members. Biboo almost never rages, which makes her one of the most entertaining "jamers" (spelling intentional, as she once called Ganondorf "Janondorf"). Shiori encourages creative writing in addition to just being an all-around cool person. Nerissa's singing voice is quite possibly the best one you'll ever hear in the modern day. Oh, and of course their chemistry together only adds to their individual charms.
      43:20
Silly Justin. You may not be seeking an Australian Rat moment, but such a moment can seek anyone out at any time. 🐀😆
      48:59
      Thank ye.
(in Wakka voice) It's good to be back, ya?
      54:55
I've got lots of time trials over these 96 courses (I even have one that beat the staff ghost at Dumpster Laps, which was only possible after learning from watching time trials from CPE and wind, but because it's there, I didn't upload it... but I did accidentally upload a slightly slower time, so if you're able to download that, my deleting of that ghost doesn't affect whether or not it can be downloaded). If you see an unfamiliar build, I likely got it from a Hololive member, and if it's unfamiliar and I didn't directly get it from one of them, I modified it to try to improve my time on the course featured in the time trial.
      55:39 and 56:26
The Wiggler is definitely the best part, even in an absolutely amazing course like Madrid (which would probably be #2 on my list of Wave 6 courses, only surpassed by Piranha Plant Cove, without the Wiggler factor bumping it to the top). ❤
      57:51
I'm sure you'll get a good race here before too much longer. 2024's a new year, and if my start to the year is any indication, it's going to be a good one.
      1:02:47
Arguably the greatest entertainer in professional wrestling history, and the only other wrestler in Eddie's league as far as that goes is Toru Yano in New Japan. Even the legendary Chris Jericho and Matt Hardy are a step behind Eddie and Yano.
      1:03:02
I'm actually a little surprised that you forget about this cut every now and then. I'm always aware that it exists. If you see me not using it, I've either been forced into a bad line by littered items or I don't have the speed to make it itemless.
      1:04:17
      Pretty much. 😆
Also, I can sneak in a FuwaMoco reference anywhere at any time for seemingly no reason. That's how much I love both Fuwawa and Mococo. *BAU BAU!* 🐶🐶🐾❤
Fun fact. I have Miis of both twins, and they're featured in some of the time trials I have uploaded.
You definitely belonged in this championship room, and you've got as good a shot as anybody (and a better shot than me because, as you know, I'm better suited for a casual setting) of qualifying for this year's championship. The only advice I can give for this year's tournaments is to stay relaxed. If you do that, the results will be there for someone of your skill. 👍

It's kind of funny how Coconut Mall accidentally became Mute City to kick off this video. 👀😆

Even with no sound, I still gotta add a certain song lyric here.
🎼 Fire fire, light the fire. 🎶
    2:27
This top 3 could be in any order and it would still be, at least in my eyes, the perfect top 3 in any race in which I'm not actually playing. Poor -Alex- Fred, tho...
    2:31
If any future viewers are wondering why this comment is going to have no commentary for the 18th race, look no further. The full course list is right here.
    2:46
    F for the startup.
    3:13
    A "dummy Justin" moment is immediately followed by a *M O R T I S* moment. 🪦
"That bomb is murder." That's why I went with *M O R T I S* instead of another F. After all, "mortis" is Latin for "death".
    3:54
You nearly had your own "Australian rat at Koopa Cape" moment. Two differences, though.
    1. You didn't ask for a Bullet Bill.
    2. rocky didn't run you down with it.
    4:08
You can't complain too much. Father Boo gave you triple 🍄 earlier in this same race.
    10:14
I'm with Adam (see his comment). That Ninja Hideaway finish would have been nice to see. Of course, you addressed that in your reply to him, so feel free to skip this timestamp if you don't want to repeat yourself.
    11:38
Remember what I said at Yoshi Circuit? Well... this has one of those two differences. Could have been worse, though. You could have been asking for a Bullet Bill from the upcoming item set.
There was a similar incident at the end of the race, but there were no items coming up (probably because of the finish line), so I don't have anything witty to add there. Just big oofs. Jerry Land was not kind, but it's like you said at the start of this race. The very best racers in this community are playing here.
    13:07
I guess you care about coins at Big Blue after all.
Don't mind me. Just teasing something you said during the NA tournament. 😆
    14:49
Unrelated to this race, but has everything to do with this course, I'm still wildly inconsistent with the gap jump and won't be using it in races against live competition, but I do have a time trial with the newly-seen "Luigi's Hope" build that cleared the gap on all 3 laps. I wonder if you can guess who I saw last night that showed me the build. The name I gave the build should be a hint.
    17:05
One of the best comebacks I've ever seen, and probably *the* best comeback I've seen at this specific course.
    19:20
Probably needed to watch out more for a ⭐ than a Bill, but being aware of a Bill is always a good idea.
    21:15
If the 🍄 boost is active, does it make sense to trick off the glider panel?
    21:50
Instead of having Daisy of the Jungle, you decide to go ahead with some Daisy Pinball at Mount Wario. If it was an unavoidable either/or, you made the right choice.
    23:00
If I was good enough to qualify, I'd also be following that rule for 23 of the 24 races. I'd probably choose Cheep Cheep Beach (an actually good beach course) when breaking the rule, as Daisy Circuit (a course that reminds me of when the city featured in the course I refuse to pick was actually a pleasant place) is already also on the list (4 spots later, at #22).
    23:47
That's where I find myself about 99% of the time, at least when I'm playing in this community. It's closer to 20% when I'm in fun Hololive tournaments, and almost never at the finish line (with a much lower rate of item spam as well), which is how I came to the conclusion that I'm better-suited for casual play than how competitive the tournaments leading up to this championship can get.
I should note that, when I get hit by items from players in this room, it doesn't hurt as much as it does when players who weren't good enough to qualify do the same. At least when it's a player in this room, I know it's the right play from that player's perspective. Even Waffles gets that benefit of the doubt when compared to most of the players who have hit me in the 2023 tournaments. I lost count of how many times a player would hit me "just because I'm open", I drop about 5 or 6 spots, and the player responsible also ends up dropping 2 or 3 spots because the item that hit me could have protected my attacker at some point before the next item set. Not exactly good item management, unless the attacker's only goal is to target me.
    24:04
    Silly Ankle-Biter. You can't chomp a ⭐.
    24:36
(in Tour Guide voice) If you look over to your left, you can see a happy Wiggler, but if you look over to your right, you can see Wiggler butt. 🤠
    26:08
Adam timestamped it 4 seconds later, but this is the moment when it first became clear that the two of you had the nice funny number of points.
    29:57
    What looked like a great Bob-Omb at first glance turned into another *M O R T I S* moment. 🪦
    31:17
I remember Huey getting a little ahead of himself by picking Yoshi's Island when this Rainbow Road was on the list.
I'm splitting commentary into 2 parts. Part 2 may take another hour or two to post, seeing as this fell into that range. Maybe it will be a little faster, since I only have 11 races to watch when Part 1 had 12 races. 😆

I'm late but now that my hectic season is over I hope to get back to a proper schedule. ON TO THE COMMENTARY.
Coconut Mall, officially MUTE. lol. I turned off my game audio prior to ending the Thursday stream and left it off because I didn't close OBS while I was waiting for Alex to start his stream. The first race begins and I forget to turn the audio channel back on. Whoops. lol
1:18 Speaking of, I have finally found the Hololive Vtubers you keep referencing. They are very endearing.
2:27 I didn't see what happened to Alex. lol
2:31 Remy here hates LA Laps. Or as I call it, Dumpster Laps.
2:46 So much for my initial plans... lol
3:13 I AM DEAD AFTER THAT ONE.
3:54 Probably helped that I was aware of it, which I guess Bae was not when she got bowled over by one.
4:08 Father Boo is so fickle...
10:14 To add on this further, when editing my videos, I need to make a lot of cuts to get rid of the "dead zones" in between races when I'm not even commenting on anything unless something wild went down. These dead zones can last up to a minute, and since a lot of people have very short attention spans, these "dead zones" have to go. After deleting them, this leaves a lot of gaps in my timeline, and once all the cuts are made, I then move the clips manually. Unfortunately, especially with longer videos, there is the risk that I accidently overlap one clip with another as you see here. This error is also hard to spot, and I don't find out until it is far too late. I'm not going to re-upload a video just to fix one honest mistake, unless I notice it very early on.
11:38 The fact I actually LANDED on a Bullet astounded me. That race was just horrible all around.
13:07 LOL, oh leave it to me to say something stupid before this happens.
14:49 There are so many Mario Kart Streams going on right now there is no way I'm going to be able to guess which one you were watching. I guess Hololive is gearing up for a tournament given how many of them have been streaming MK8DX, Irys and Mori Calliope being the most recent as I'm writing this.
17:05 If the Bill dropped me in a better spot I could've taken the gap cut. But even if I could, Phone Guy was long gone so I'll take the 2nd regardless.
19:20 I was watching Oreo here, who had the Bill. Then Waffles ran me over for fun.
21:15 Habit. The boost got cannibalized anyway.
21:50 That bump could've gone much worse. I'm lucky the bounce wasn't that bad when I hit the tree.
23:00 Anything to avoid Dumpster Laps, right? lol
23:47 That's Mario Kart for you. Problem is, when I get attacked just for being open the attacker almost never gets punished for it. Its also kinda hard to protect yourself if you only pull Mushrooms.
24:04 I saw Tyler trying to Ankle-Biter people intentionally so I used the Star.
24:36 The Tour Guide has graced us with his appearance.
26:08 That was just funny. lol
29:57 I didn't think he was THAT close. Regardless I ended up destroying us both.
31:17 Honest mistake on his part, I believe.
      This'll end part 1.

I've got "the Rat" playing on another tab (with *KOSEKI BIJOU!* making a guest appearance) while responding to your replies, and even though you bring it up as one of the timestamps, I'm going to kick off this reply by letting you know that Hololive is indeed preparing for their annual New Year's Cup.
No worries about the lack of sound at Coconut Mall. As I said in the original commentary, it was actually kinda funny.
      1:18
Advent is an amazing and adorable generation. While Mori Calliope was playing Mario Kart last night (and I actually got into 2 races with her then), they were playing Lethal Company. Koseki Bijou is a menace with the shovel in that game. I hope Shiori Novella remembered to stay on her toes, as the Archiver is often the most savvy member of the group but had been on vacation for much of the past month. Oh, and don't get me started on FuwaMoco. I bring them up enough on my own. If somebody asks me the right question, I could go on and on and on about how much I love them.
      2:27
With how much time passed between my original comment and your reply, I no longer remember what happened during the race, but this timestamp definitely shows him at 12th in this all-star lobby.
      2:31
I hate that course with (in Red Forman's words) "a burning passion that consumes my soul". Whenever somebody forces me to play there, which I'm grateful for the fact that it hasn't happened (at least as far as I can remember) since Wave 6 dropped, (in Koseki Bijou's words) "I will play this course... in anger".
      3:13
Interesting. I don't recall getting my hands on a Ouija board, so I don't know how we're able to communicate now. 😆
      3:54
I think Bae was too focused on her own item that she didn't notice FuwaMoco running her over with one. It made for a hilarious moment, but poor Bae.
      4:08
Fickle and mischievous are the best ways I can describe Father Boo in Mario Kart games.
      10:14
Editing is not an easy job, as proven by how so much can go wrong (either leaving too much in or, as happened here, taking out a little bit too much) but I bet it feels amazing when you get the editing just right.
      13:07
If nothing dumb had been said, I'd be wondering who you are and what happened to the real Justin. 😆
      Teasing, obviously. 😄
      14:49
One of those two is correct, and the key word in the name I gave the build is "Hope". Thus, it was IRyS who was using the build, but she has since said she's not good enough to use Luigi. Her hour of practice at a certain course last night broke her to the point of going with The Rosalina of Youth and full Acceleration, Handling, and Mini Turbo instead.
      21:15
Ah, so the trick cannibalized the boost from the active 🍄, and the habit was formed because of how often tricks are performed without an active 🍄.
      23:00
Yep, but if I was forced to play it, it's as I said in a previous timestamp.
(in Koseki Bijou voice) I will play this course... in anger.
      24:04
Smart use of ⭐, even if Tyler wasn't "intentionally" using the Ankle-Biter that way, as the ⭐ also protects you from errant chomps.
      24:36
It always feels good to bring up a Tour Guide reference. 🤠
Thus, my reply to your reply to Part 1 comes to an end. Your reply to Part 2 awaits my attention. 😄
