  • Dive in as we go beneath the surface of Manchester United's form under Erik Ten Hag. Despite facing criticism, we analyze why Ten Hag, one of the most fascinating managers in the European football scene, could potentially turn things around for the Red Devils. From his approach to nurturing the youth squad to the intriguing tactics on the field, we explore all dimensions.
We take a historical looked at Ten Hag's brilliant reformative run with Ajax and compare it to his journey with United so far. Is the club's transfer strategy coming in the way of his success? We put the spotlight on United's strategy compared to their rivals like Arsenal and Liverpool. And we delve deeper into whether the older signings at Man Utd are clashing with Ten Hag's preference for a youthful squad.
The video concludes by looking ahead at what the club can do to support Ten Hag's vision better and explore if a major squad shakeup could be the key. Listen in for our team picks that could form the foundation of this new era under Ten Hag.
Will the new part-owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, break away from Man Utd's old cycle and place his trust in Ten Hag? Will United give Ten Hag the freedom to build long-term plans for the squad's future? Join the discussion in our comment section below! We'd love to hear your opinions on the future of Manchester United!

I think we should give him next season to prove himself. We need to be patient with him. This season we've been inconsistent because of injuries

Injuries have played a huge part. Evans has done well, but Man Utd should never be forced to rely on a player like that for so long.

Right,we need to give him more time, this is only the 2nd year.Don't forget since Sir Alex left ,we have not been able to repeat his glorious time at Man U.I believe that at least give him another year to prove himself.Arteta has taken nearly 5 years to rebuild Arsenal!!

Yeah, excellent point. Arteta and Klopp got time at their clubs, seems only fair that Ten Hag gets a decent shot too.

Definitely we need to be patient with him.. the potential is there as you can see all the young lads being drafted in the first team.. he is alm😢half way with it plus you don’t want to disrupt his plans..

  • @Nicholas_Jackson_is_not_22

Took arteta up until his forth season to see serious progress, klopp and arteta both have had lower finishes than Eric.

From the outside looking in, yeah, y'all should absolutely give him more time.
Not bantering either. The potential is there. The former Chelsea strategy of cycling managers very clearly hasn't worked for United: doesn't work for most clubs when they've tried it.

  • @Nicholas_Jackson_is_not_22

The best ever first season in the league. Only pep had success within his first two seasons. Eric deserves at least next season to get it right.

That's just a bad argument overall. We don't and can't know if that season was on ETH or the overall newly induced optimism and spirit by getting a new coach and new players who came in. To me it looked like, even last season, that we started strong when the new players arrived but slowly over time got worse and never recovered, which would indicate strongly to the manager being at fault. (Not taking the blame off the bottle job players we have and are at the club for several years, but ETH is a perfect fit for them. )

2nd year no back four no reliable middlefielders upgrade minoo Garnacho from juniors amad and forson because of injuries look at his bench vs Coventry check at penalties and goals conceded after 80 min questionable officiating . The manager has done his best with enough tools he will deliver he has character

Provided if he signs the calibre of young players that can play the 4-2-3-1 formation which needs players with the required pace that can do the runing through out the 90 minutes. We are losing most matches because of lack of pace especially in the middle and the back. I can't imagine United playing 31 premier league games with -1 goal. Our attackers are scoring but our aged midfield allow unnecessary pressure on our aged defence.

Either the manager or the players are to blame. If the manager is not good enough, then Mourinho, Van Gaal, Moyes, Ollie, Rangnick, and Ten Hag are just as incompetent.

Yes ten hag deserves more time because when utd buy some new players and get rid of a few players you will see how good ten hag will be he's doing his best with only four or five players giving a 100% every week he needs players that will bond together play for each other and not stroll around d the pitch sulking ten hag needs one more season and new players

I personally thought of him staying but the way we are losing and drawing games by conceding goals shortly after scoring or taking a lead is very disappointing and shameful . Throwing away wins where they are needed most

Waffling is all i hear. Tactically outclassed in almost every match this season. Winning almost every game by the skin of our teeth.
He's shite! To call him a tactician is just an insult to the word. No style of play after £300M deep. Ole and him both won trophies with some of those player you called shit. It does my head in when i hear the injury excuse. Which club hasn't had injuries this season? What has that got to do with establishing a system? We played lethargic footy under LVG but even under him we still had a style of play.
Also he not getting "his players" is just another excuse. Most managers don't in the first place. Ange is playing his type of football with a totally different lineup in comparison to what he had at Celtic.
Get off your knees! You've done enough.
