This is the most natural, non-staged football video I've seen from some time.
Exactly my thoughts!
The way Kath embraced rio and continued to hold his hand. Thats love.
BACK. THIS. MANAGER. I don’t give a damn what rival fans are waffling about, ETH is the one!
many of our own fans are trigger happy, instead of sacking ten Hag, the focus should be on improving the structure.
@@rana1561 Thankfully, I think it is. All the social media morons will fall in line eventually.
I have big trust in Ten Hag, more so than any other manager since Fergie left.
Nah
Fully agreed
8:18 brilliant to hear Fletcher really talk about his role & mentoring the young lads. Well known that he’s credited with really helping Garnacho when he first broke through
Fletcher was massively under rated when playing for United. Gave the more creative players the platform to play. Managers dream.
Glad to finally understand his role. The title of technical director really confused me when he's always around the first team.
@@mrmonkey2214 Yeah but when he played in Interstellar. Or True Detective. I think he was recognized enough.
@@mrmonkey2214
The Scott McTominay of his day, honest but limited.
Well to be honest we don't know exactly how much of a part he plays at the club because it's not really measurable unless we are there observing everything. Great elequent midfielde though! Him and Carrick were great servants of the club as players
I don't care what anyone says EtH is the man to bring this club back to the glory days. He gets what it takes to be a MU manager and carries himself with dignity. He will learn from the recent setbacks and grow stronger as a manager. Back EtH
Rightly said
Could’t agree more lad❤
Definitely mate we need someone to build a team what’s the point sacking people after 2 years it’s silly.
We didn't have success with Fergie immediately too. Look at how the following 3 decades with him turned out.
Just lost to Chelsea 😂😂😂😂
Hope this manager stays for years to come, give him the right tools and he'll make something amazing
I am a Liverpool fan and yes give the man some time, Klopp at Liverpool won nothing for 4 year, he needs his own players too. Sir Alex, what a manager, he looks a little frail, made me a bit sad to be honest. Wishing him the best of health for a long time to come.
@@anthonybrady2779I gotta be honest the majority of his signings have been dreadful
@@brandonking2679only Antony. Onana is improving, Mount was unfortunately injured all season but obviously will be a great player, Casemiro's great esp last season, Lisandro is our best defender , Malacia was good last season. Antony is the only 'flop'
Yeah please give him a 30 year contract
I want him to stay too
Alex Ferguson has such a presence about him.
Yeah it's hard to put a finger on it but there's def something about him that commands respect
@@GoGetYourShinebox Just a guess.... but I think it's because he won all those trophies.
@@sratus Even before he won the trophies he had a presence
@@GoGetYourShinebox Some people have a natural authority. I once read an interview with someone who had been at school with him who said he was the same back then. A born leader.
He allowed the Glazers to take over. Rest is history
Darren fletcher is one hell of a speaker. The passion & love and way he spoke for United was immense, Rio couldn’t stop listening that how great he was.
Darren's passion for the club and coaching process is clear. Really gets the values and purpose of the club. Great for the younger players.
Yeah we've done really well since Fletcher got a role
He’s from the generation that understands what this club means
How can people be ETH out I believe he’s the right man he just needs time and a structure above him nothing happens straight away took sir Alex years it takes time.
Some people are brain dead and have little to no patience. The real fans can see that Erik is not only the right man for this club but he’s so important to the development to the young players . He’s the best and he’ll prove it over time.
@@Tdoggg real fans? What is this, my dad's stronger than your dad? Cop on lad, we're allowed to disagree
@@Tdoggg it will be the same if another world class coach takes over if ETH is sacked...let him continue till his contract ends
Back Eth. He will get this club back just like he did at Ajax with young players. He’s a nurturer of youth.
Doesn’t show respect where it’s due tho. He has a large ego he needs to put away if he wants things to turn around
@@byBlazingexample?
@@Deathmare235 CR7
@@byBlazingso your example is 1 40 year old finished player 😂 I'd say eth has done well then
@@byBlazingRonaldo was completely in the wrong, mate. The ego thing for me is him playing Antony over Amad.
Antony has stunk it up for months and Amad hasn't gotten more than 30mins total.
That looks like favouritism to me.
look at eric ten hag say he loves this club it gave me goosebumps thats the sign of dedication to the club he is going to take us to the top i feel it
Hahaha
He loves his salary per week it’s 5 x what he would her anywhere else
@@josephhunter907 if u should know before he took on the contract people advised against taking as the manager one of them being louis van gaal
I imagine he'll be gone by next season tbf.
@@Taylor___ if he was the players wouldnt go for the win they will just write the season off
Tears in my eyes to see Sir Alex....great work Rio. thanks
Absolutely dear
So amazing to see sir Alex
That lady at reception seems like an angel
Kathy, been there more than 50 years
Heart and soul of the club, unlike the owners.
Been there about 50 years bro 😂❤
Listening to the three of them reminiscing about winning league titles, it was like yesterday. It’s been over a decade now. I’m getting too old for this.
I remember Jonny Evans and Rio Ferdinand as a central defenders in 12-13 season when Man United won their last premier League after injuries set up to Nemanja Vidic
The Boss
The Manager
The Gaffer
Sir Alex ❤
*I will never forget Garnacho and Amad coming together near the end to done off Liverpool*
Rio Ferdinard is awesome love him ❤❤❤❤
Eth will get right. I’m an lfc fan and was a huge fan of his during his time at Ajax
❌❌❌🫶🏽
I'm a Liverpool fan and I hope he gets it wrong. Mad about today, ffs we should have gone up 3-1 but we let them back in the game smh
@@GoGetYourShinebox😂😂😂😂😂😂
Respect💪🏼
@@GoGetYourShineboxunited should have been 2-0 up so what's your point?
ETH absolutely needs to stay at United
Not absolutely tho
Nice to see Rio back Home ❤️
Him asking for Usain’s medal is top tier banter😂😂😂
Rio was up there like a senior pro reiterating what it takes to be at united .ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE. Need more of this from him.
ETH has far from convinced me this season but I do believe we should give him more support and time. Probably deserves a chance to prove himself. Let’s hope we can get injuries sorted out and that the people above can steady the ship
ETH is such a great manager. Perfect fit for MUFC. Sir Alex seems to think so too. They frequently meet and that’s so wonderful. Not every manager is open or welcoming to ex players let alone an ex manager. ETH is the right man for the job!
I hope ten hag gets one more season to see how he'd do without all the off the pitch drama and excessive injuries
I’m a city fan but I absolutely love this. Glad to see United legends being part of fixing things.
Heh
Fixing things? 😂😂😂
@@roughwalkers Ferguson be like: "don't check Howard Webb's drawer"

Wish we had players as good as Rio now. The original rolls Royce of a player!
And for all he's a Londoner and has played for other teams, his footballing home is still United. Love Rio.
rapha varane is a rolls royce of a defender
Jonny Evans is a legend , and a true red !
Home sweet home for Rio Ferdinand
Thanks for that Rio. Lovely little piece and nice to meet all the characters behind the scenes.
6:41 - melted my heart🥹❤️
Back this manager. He is the one, give him the players and he will deliver! I don’t care what anyone says, Id give Ten Hag 5 years even if he didn’t win a thing in that time to build his squad in his vision.
Fascinating behind the scenes conversations👍 Excellent.
Very comforting to see the heroes I grew up watching still be so heavily involved with the club nurturing and guiding the youngsters and new players coming in.
LOVE BEHIND THE SCENES FOOTAGE , ALWAYS INTERESTING TO SEE WHAT GOES ON - GREAT WORK TNT SPORTS
Brilliant video Rio! Hope the ex-players, our last winners can contribute something little to this team to make them realise what it is to play for Manchester United cause they are the lucky few in the world. They ought to take pride in playing for Manchester United and show it on the pitch to us fans who leave out all our worries and other stuff to watch our beloved club play for the precious 90 minutes. Go Go Man United ❤
my left ear loved the start if the video!
Honestly my favourite one of the carrington and any United interview I’ve ever seen so raw I feel like it was brilliant! Love the club feel like despite the popular opinions and the hate the club is moving in a great direction with the youth in particular!!
Rio, Fletch and Evans all back at Carrington together is an absolute sight to behold!
Love seeing the old guard
I LOVE the fact Ten Hag is still the manager. PLEEEEEEEASE United...hang on to this man.
Yours, an avid Arsenal fan.
Thought it was just a shed in someone's back garden the way every one goes on actually looks quite decent
Typical United fans entitlement. It's in the DNA of this club
Really good to see sir Alex
Ten Haag is the manager, but Ferguson is still the "boss"
I really loved that "boss "title
Need more of these
Fantastic manager. I can see why opposition fans want to see him sacked
No please keep him
😂😂😂😂 that's made my morning. I've not heard one rival fan say he needs to be sacked. 😂
He can stay 25 years for all I care - he’s out of his depth
I want him to stay 😂😂
Hes got a better winr ate than both klopp and arteta and already has a trophy under his belt in 18months. Rival fans and the media just wanna upset united. ETH has had 22 first team njuries this season and had to play a back four with no LB maguire and a 36yo Evans. united still around the amazing spurs.all media BS around his future .
I love it Rio brings back them memories ❤❤❤
Look at the club badge behind Rio at 11:15 . Symbolic of the Glazer era 💀
Rio rio what a man
Rio has genuine love for the club
The boss. Looking old, but great to see him ❤
As an Arsenal fan never been a fan of Sir Alex but loved seeing him healthy 😊
Weird first half comment
Understandable as he really made your fans cry.
I have been a fan of Manchester United since 1986 when I was 10 year old when I was in Iraq. I dream to visit Manchester and watch a game in this incredible stadium.
Kath is amazing
More of this please rio! Crackin vid
This was amazing
Nice interview
Seeing Rio, Fletcher and Evans made me feel really old.😂😂.. These guys gave me so many amazing memories I would never forget in my life. ❤❤😊😊
best united video in a long while
I would give my right arm to do what Rio just did. Especially meeting the Gaffer Sir Alex
This should have been so much longer haha so good
Fletcher and Evans❤❤
This is really good content. Humanises the team, staff etc
I LOVE THIS CLUB and most of the people involved at the operations level. Kath is AWESOME!!!
Incredible video. So cool. 🎉
Problem at United is the first question Rio asks Ten Hag - "who's the person making sure things are like the good ol' days?" then mentions Scholes etc.
It took 30 years for Liverpool with Klopp to make new history and crucial to that was to stop living in the past with these huge expectations. It baffles me why other clubs don't look at what Klopp has done and learn from it. He took LFC from mid table to champions in 3 years all the while playing good football and not breaking the bank. Numerous factors went into why hes been so successful but one of the big ones is definitely a mentality shift. Second to that is recruiting hungry players with the correct personality to form such bonds that every player would give their all for the next.
Yup what Klopp did at Liverpool in the modern day is akin to what Sir Alex did with United in 1986-1990. Respect the past but move onto the present and future.
Klopp’s achievements with the limitations he’s had are far greater than Pep’s.
Great video. Good to see sir alexs. Would be good to see him on vibe with 5
All jokes aside, great to see ex players involved. It is a bit sad though that the owners haven't invested in a new training complex. This must have an impact on the players.
In Ten Hag we trust!
United!!!! 🎉🎉🎉And Kath always lovely at the reception..
Suprised to see sie Alex and Darren Fletcher the United brilliant area !
Quality vid 👏
Love Fletch.. perfect role for him
Give evans extension he has been one of the very few positives this season seeing him back feels so good
Deserves a new deal cause Evans gets what Manchester United is unlike half of the selfish players we got they don’t play for the badge no one Evans does
A proper club, no fakeness, family feel, success through sheer hard work and grit, proud to be a Manc.
Love this. Sick
Come on United ✊
Excellent 👍👍

Lovely video, great vibes
love that so much .. nice one
As a die hard Manchester United fan, I love Rio and I love the club. But it is a bit sad to see this video, it looks like the club has frozen in time. Same people, same facilities, same everything. Our lack of evolution as a club is what has let us down. We need to evolve to catch up with the likes of City, Liverpool, and now even Arsenal.
That is why it’s difficult for the manager to thrive within this club. There are still people working there from when fergie was managing. The same facilities are still there from when sir Alex was manager too, it’s crazy to think that this is an environment that a manager can thrive in. On top of this everyone still speaks about Sir Alex around the club, punditry, comments, the lot. It’s like a girl that compares her new boyfriend to her ex and still has him around the new guy won’t have a difficult time.
A little weird listening to Ten Hag saying that Casemiro, Varane, Bruno and Martinez are the players setting the standard at training, but still the club wants to sell Casemiro and letting Varane go for free, but Rashford, the biggest earner at the club is NOT in the top 4 of setting the standard, That´s quite worrying...
They're all older than Rashford, bar Martinez and Bruno, have all won more, I'd say, it would be very worrying, and explain a lot, if Rashford was leading ahead of Casemiro, Varane tbh, it was worrying, when Maguire was leading Ronaldo, Pogba etc
And he's not the biggest earner, he's like the 3rd, behind Varane and Casemiro
@@jean-paulwalters8855 But since Rashford is the poster boy for the club, shouldn´t he set the standard? He´s come through the academy, and now seems like the most lazy player in the entire squad based on his antics on the pitch. He loooks like he couldn´t care less.
@@martinjasper7650 Foden and Saka are poster boys for Man City and Arsenal, they're not leaders, City have Rodri, Dias, KDB, B.Silva, Walker, Ederson, before getting to Foden, they're main leaders, Arsenal, Odegaard, Saliba, Gabriel, Ben White, Jorginho, Rice, before getting to Saka, our most experienced, and pending captains on the pitch are, Bruno, Casemiro, Martinez, Varane, Maguire, even Mctominay is more of a leader on the pitch than a Rashford, and if he's lazy, then he should be sold, but Ten Hag is adamant on keeping him, and so is the club
@@jean-paulwalters8855 I´m not saying leaders, but setting the standard for every day training, Both Foden and Saka trains well, but according to Ten Hag, Rashford is not one of those setting the standard. That´s a major problem for the highest paid player in the club.
Amazing 🎉❤
Good to finally have a clear understanding of what Fletcher does.
All we ever hear is so called top reads calling him to be thrown out the club because he 'doesn't have a CV', similar to what happened to Carrick and Kieran Mckenna.
I still think if fletcher played the final in 09 the champions league would have been ours.he was our most important player at that time.
Sir Alex Ferguson ❤
I had been critical of TH in so many ways. But the win against Liverpool has softened my criticism of him. I just hope he gets inspired with the eruption from the fans and start making his team play more exciting and competitive football especially against our main rivals.
Riooooooooooo riooooooooooo riooooooo
watch RIO Now talking on United next game back ten hag hes the man with the plan
Atleast now we know what Fetcher does at the club 😂
Brilliant
I remember Darren fletcher united debut game 1-1 draw against fc Basel 2003 good old days
This club is something special icl
Carrington really isnt as bad and run down as people like to make out
Don't believe the media hype ETH is creating a good vibe around the place from the under 18s upwards
When ten hag came in, his first spending was infrastructure upgrade at Carrington. Which was never allowed before.
It is bad for a club of united stature to have no updated their training ground since the 2000s. Spurs training ground is literally world class. Man utd should never be behind
I absolutely love Erik, we need to stick behind him and trust this manager. He will come good I’m sure of ir
in Erik ten hags we trust
