I've been helping and reaching my fellow Filipinos for more than a decade, since 2006, but without recording it on film.
I just decided to film the activities we do in 2015 to spread awareness.
This time guys: I need your help. I need your helping hands to give joy to Filipino families, one at a time.
How it works:
Your contribution goes straight to the individual/family we reach/help.
After we reached/helped 1 individual/family: We then move on to help another.
Our objective is to reach 1 economically poor individual/family, one at a time.
Important notes:
1. I personally don't receive/get/take/pocket any amount of financial contributions from you guys.
Your contributions go straight to the families we reach and to other expenses.
2. I do not publish on youtube the stories of the families we reach w/o a signed release agreement and parental/guardian consent.
The release agreement gives me a permission to publish their stories on youtube.
3. Business, personal and GoFundMe fundraiser accounts: All the funds, contributions, sources of income and other monetary sources that go into my accounts are being reported to the taxman. My bank also reports to the taxman every year, by the end of the year, FYI.
There's a Certified Public Accountant who does the accounting and auditing of my accounts.
The Certified Public Accountant reports to the taxman.
4. You don't need to open and register a charitable organization/foundation/institution to give help to people in the Philippines.
Reaching and giving help to people in the Philippines is not illegal.
There's no law that states, that you need to open and register a charitable organization/foundation/institution first, before you are able to give help to people legally.
5. GoFundMe checks the fundraiser account from time to time.
They sometimes ask for verification and validation.
The reason why I upload films/videos about poverty in the Philippines is to spread social awareness.
To combat economic inequality, social injustice, oppression, repression, abuse and exploitation:
1st: We have to be aware.
2nd: We should pay attention.
3rd: We are ought to do something about it.
We as Filipinos and citizens of this planet should not turn a blind eye, not to play deaf and not to pretend mute.
We as human beings have a responsibility to give care and to show compassion to others.
We as citizens have a great responsibility to safeguard our ball of genuine democracy.
We as citizens have a responsibility to fight tyranny and corruption.
A documentary film/video like this one is very important, because it opens our eyes to the unjust societal reality.
How could we turn a blind eye on social injustice and huge economic inequality?

As a mother of 2 Autistic children, and someone who has worked with autistic children, Riza to me is Autistic ❤❤ suggestions on things to get Riza 👇👇👇👇
She would benefit from sensory toys ,a weighted blanket , you could also buy her some picture flashcards like they use for toddlers , with simple picture's like food, water. Toilet, etc and emotions such as sore head ,tummy , too warm , too cold . These would help her communicate with her parents and others ,this system is used alot with autistic children and its called PECS. ❤❤ A tablet would be brilliant because they're communication app they can download where their daughter can use the tablet to communicate and keep her entertained and she can learn with the tablet .
Maybe some reusable pads for her aswel so its easier for her mother when riza has her period as shes nonverbal.
Having your period when your autistic can be very stressful so having pads so she won't feel wet or be leaking would make life much easier for riza and her mother .
I have a tracker watch I use with my autistic son because he will wander off aswel and he is super quiet and super quick when he wants to run and explore so this is why we use this so if he does escape and we can't find him the tracker will show us in the tablet and phone where he is x

How can anyone with so much passion in his heart to help the poverty stricken have hate in his heart? The answer is " you don't ". People that have that much love for his people and gives so freely, is a good man inside and out. Cesar and the girls are great individuals to.

I believe the 5 bags of rice is a starter out of Mark's own pocket or general donations, it's then up to the donators who receives more gifts. The girl who wanted the white grandpa has received more because people have donated to her specifically. I'm sure this family will get another visit soon once the donations come in specifically for this poor girl.

You have a heart of gold I believe Such a kind young man to help fellow Philipinos. We should each donate what we can when we can to feed hungry people all over the world. This video was hard to watch. You show often these people eating old rice with soy sauce and cooking oil (sometimes used). Just thinking about eating this makes me sick to my stomach. Imagine eating this everyday and just 1 meal a day. People who talk about you should take a look at themselves and see what they are doing to help others. Riza is "autistic." She has autism, which is a mental disorder. There are no cures for the various levels (mild, moderate, severe, and profound) of autism. Some autistic children can, although unable to learn elements of educational subjects, can be taught certain survival and life skills, depending on the severity of their autistic behavior. Riza has a severe to profound case of autism. A special education teacher may be able to teach Riza certain life skills once the assessment of her autistic behavior is conducted and diagnosed. There are no cures for autism. 🙏

oh ps they should carry stuff on them, in a bag or backpack to hand out at random it would be helpful and would make for good content too , like carry pouches of dog food And cat food , de wormer for the animals ( that can pass alot of diease onto people )., anti septic cream bandages ,fever and pain reducer ,so if they come across stuff like this they can help and record it to show the world plus it switches uo the content like you've been trying to advise the team.

Those dogs could just be strays who stay there as a safe place to shelter, maybe Riza gives them attention on her good days or maybe they do feed them scraps. At least they're not chained up like the other poor dog on this video, so they can go off and scavenge like many strays do in Phils.

Mark if you are claiming that Cesars interviewing skills needs improvement, then here’s a suggestion…as their leaders try TEACHING or COACHING Cesar and his crew instead of constantly whining. I’ve seen you complain about this in particular multiple videos now.
Mark ive learned loads about the Philippines and the corruption from watching your videos,while also showing the reality of life for most Philippinas. I already knew being a journalist in the Philippines was dodgy but thwts because of my dad ,he is always reading and a big world history buff and current affairs too.
Developmental disabilities
You don't have an evil heart, your heart is evidently in the right place, but that doesn't put you above criticism. If you have 45 out of 50 people complaining about you repeatedly criticising Cesar or banging on about old grandpa then maybe you should listen to them. Just because you find a topic boring, you don't speak for all of us. These people are just happy to talk to someone away from their everyday mundane lives and Cesar is providing that opportunity, good on him.
