I've been helping and reaching my fellow Filipinos for more than a decade, since 2006, but without recording it on film.
I just decided to film the activities we do in 2015 to spread awareness.
This time guys: I need your help. I need your helping hands to give joy to Filipino families, one at a time.
How it works:
Your contribution goes straight to the individual/family we reach/help.
After we reached/helped 1 individual/family: We then move on to help another.
Our objective is to reach 1 economically poor individual/family, one at a time.
Important notes:
1. I personally don't receive/get/take/pocket any amount of financial contributions from you guys.
Your contributions go straight to the families we reach and to other expenses.
2. I do not publish on youtube the stories of the families we reach w/o a signed release agreement and parental/guardian consent.
The release agreement gives me a permission to publish their stories on youtube.
3. Business, personal and GoFundMe fundraiser accounts: All the funds, contributions, sources of income and other monetary sources that go into my accounts are being reported to the taxman. My bank also reports to the taxman every year, by the end of the year, FYI.
There's a Certified Public Accountant who does the accounting and auditing of my accounts.
The Certified Public Accountant reports to the taxman.
4. You don't need to open and register a charitable organization/foundation/institution to give help to people in the Philippines.
Reaching and giving help to people in the Philippines is not illegal.
There's no law that states, that you need to open and register a charitable organization/foundation/institution first, before you are able to give help to people legally.
5. GoFundMe checks the fundraiser account from time to time.
They sometimes ask for verification and validation.
The reason why I upload films/videos about poverty in the Philippines is to spread social awareness.
To combat economic inequality, social injustice, oppression, repression, abuse and exploitation:
1st: We have to be aware.
2nd: We should pay attention.
3rd: We are ought to do something about it.
We as Filipinos and citizens of this planet should not turn a blind eye, not to play deaf and not to pretend mute.
We as human beings have a responsibility to give care and to show compassion to others.
We as citizens have a great responsibility to safeguard our ball of genuine democracy.
We as citizens have a responsibility to fight tyranny and corruption.
A documentary film/video like this one is very important, because it opens our eyes to the unjust societal reality.
How could we turn a blind eye on social injustice and huge economic inequality?

Thank you Mark for not complaining about Cesar as much as you would. You toned it down a lot. Cesar is working hard too. Recording at one of the poorest countries. Not to mention when he was ran over and left laying on the street. I did see that video. Your editing is nothing compared to what Cesar is doing putting his own life in danger in the Philippines while you're in "California". This isn't a small stain. This is a huge stain and we viewers notice it.

Joy is only 30 but she look way older than her age.. I don’t want to judge her but at least she should learned from her past relationship with those men, its okay to have a relationship but at least she should not get pregnant every now and then, she should think first about the future of her children,.because base on her story those men were not serious about her in my opinion, so now she should face the consequences of her actions..😞

My question is if you know you already have three children why put yourself in a situation where you going to have five or six children if you know you cannot feed them and then you end up giving those children to your parents or your family to raise shouldn't you think before you have this many children hey it's hard for me to raise three kids it's not a good idea to have four I'm glad she got the help she needed it I hope she learns from this because she's so young enough to have a 5 or 6 more God bless stay safe ignore the negativity bye

You would think after the second man she would learn to keep her pants up. These poor children she's brought into the world to suffer. Then to have her parents burden with caring for her children that she's suppose to take care of.
