2024 CKMBHL Hockey: 06/02/24 6PM Sharknados vs Grumpy Old Men

Seven consecutive wins for the Sharknados! This one was a battle throughout, as a very resilient Grumpy Old Men team brought their best effort.
Catlin Delyzer got the party started in the first period by scoring his 4th goal of the season, setup by Mitchell Benn and Serge Alves.
Less than 2 minutes into the second frame Parker Graham scored another beauty, assisted by his brother Macguire and the ever reliable Brandon Vadovic. Following that, a bit of shenanigans occurred in front of the Old Men net as Adam Ludolph got tangled up with their goaltender and was assessed a double-minor penalty. The opposition capitalized on the powerplay with two goals within a minute and a half. This game then stayed tied till the third.
In the third period the Sharknados put their foot down on the gas pedal and showed off the talents throughout the lineup. As the opposition tired and our boys maintained possession in the offensive zone, Tanner Hornick made a perfect tip on a point shot from Kevin O'Connor to regain the lead. Two minutes later Parker Graham provided the insurance marker. The final score of the game was 4-2 for our Sharknados.
With the victory, the boys are now 7-0 on the season.
