Millon kaskisuo uudestaa änäriin?
Ja onko shl:ssä hyvä palkka?
Always enjoy all of Kasmirs' other videos, and this was very entertaining. See you soon in Nashville.
Beer league guy is still better than mikko koskinen
"I mean... that doesn't look as cool." My future motto for Beer League.
prioritizing cool moments over the score really captures the spirit of beer leagues
I played pro (lowest tier possible, $300/week, travel by bus, strip joints, $ for room & board) and beer league has an advantage. You’re just playing for fun, with your friends and then having a beer. Any tier of pro hockey there’s the pressure and instability of coach getting fired and new guy bringing in his own guys which means likely you’re getting cut. If you’re in the ECHL, you might get called up to the A for a few games and when u ask what you need to do to stay there, even if you posted shutouts (if u even got on the ice), you’ll hear, it’s like winning the lottery, and it is true. Don’t even worry about the show, I’m talking sticking around the AHL is a near impossibility even if you outplay the guys there because there’s other factors, contracts; investment in draft picks…so you can even maybe make it then get cut the next year to make room for a prospect.
Beer league goalies. The unsung heros of Canadian Sundays.
not just Canadian, without the goalies we have no game. or not a game that is as fun.
That goalie sniping top cheese with a goalie stick is pretty impressive
They use those sticks all the time I'm sure with practice we could do the same 🙌🙌
@@mtmcommunity once you kinda get used to it you can send pucks
Its not that hard
@@improbablecontinenti mean if u play hockey consistantly for 12 years than it really isnt that hard to shoot a puck top cheese with a goalie stick
It’s actually pretty easy I’m a goalie and I’m only 13 and I can do it
“You shot it too quick”
You should tell that to all the guy that scored on you
Does this league have beers, before, during, and after each game?
That's the league Blashill really needs to be in, he sees Red Wing game so differently then anyone else.
I tried that in a game and I got made fun of for saying you shot it to quick when I "attempted” that move
Yeah. That's, uh, kind of the joke, bud.
@@Montrovantis Yeah. That's, uh, why I said what I said, bud.
@@freakinxbox7363 lol. Okay. ?
“I’m not trying to tell you how to do your job…” lmao. Very entertaining.
The skill level different in hockey is insane. It's sooo difficult to be in the AHL/NHL. Insanely skilled sport. I bet the Beer League goalie is in a decent league too.
Man,its time to fight, fuck or hit the fence.
Dope video Evan
Not really you could put another 40 teams in the nhl with boys from Canada that never had the opportunity to be scouted. The amount of politics in the minor hockey and AAA is unreal.
This is sports/competitive events in general. Look at the NFL, where kids in the NCAA can run train, but as soon as they're in the NFL, they're just trying to keep their head above water. Same with the MLB and the minors, the NBA, any professional soccer league... The jump from semi-pro to pro is really quite insane.

West Australian hockey freak here, that was the funniest CZcams vid I've seen in ages. Love your work, good on you for teaching him what's cooler. That was very generous of you. 👍
You're a rare breed. PIA and Cockburn are mainly figure skaters.
victoria ice hockey lover
Get gud bruh
This was so much fun to watch. I think Kaz is leaving the training session a better goalie. KVG is bang on though....two pad stackers looks way cooler. lol
I’m from Tennessee and have always wanted to be a goalie. My parents never had the money for me to try hockey but my brother who passed away played. He’s the reason I watch so much hockey and want to try it out. I always remember when I was very little going to a game or two of his and loved it ever since. Love this vids btw man keep it up.
Go for it! I'm Canadian, but didn't start playing goal until age 21. Playing 40 years later still. There's no time like now.
@@bcoldgoalie that funny Turned 21 a couple months ago. When I get a good job think I’m gonna try it. Thanks man always like people that encourage other people to follow there dreams.
Played a little deck hockey in gym and street as a kid, count it on one hand(semi-jock in sports). Moved to Florida from Pennsylvania ( near Philly) at 18. Many years later friends who were Solar Bears fans got me hooked😁 in hockey. They were teaching me to be a forward but choose goalie because I can't skate well .I was mistaken for Alan Bester( Solar Bears G) at a fair😁I didn't start league hockey (roller) until 27. Two years later went to ice and never looked back. 12 years of playing and about 4-5 championship wins mostly C league. B league( new team) we went undefeated ( tie).I was the weakest link( great players in front of me) but maybe hockey was my hidden talent with no training but fast reflexes? I was identified as playing like Dominik Hasek( I had more flop😁) but I'm only 5'7". Hockey is the greatest ( watch) sport I have ever played(decent at football) and you should go for it😉👍
join some facebook groups man, you'd be surprised the amount of used stuff people will gladly give you. Especially if you're new man. I will say being in tennessee doesn't help too much though depending on where you are.
Get skates first and go public skating first. Once you have your legs under you, reach out to your local adult league and see if anyone could spot you some equipment short-term to see if you enjoy the game.
This was 1 of my favorite CZcams videos because it has 2 of my favorite goalie channel Goalies thanks for making the video KVG!!
Great video.
I watch his channel all the time. And he is nice enough to reply to comments.
Really a cool guy. Glad you made this with him
Thanks 👍
I was at a beer league tournament this weekend and one of the goalies was the back up emergency goalie for the krakens and he was insanely good one time he went full splits and slid across the crease and caught the puck in his glove it was insane
Stopped playing after High School. Got lucky to win a state championship my senior year. Honestly, this content has been making me really consider buying some gear and playing in the local Beer and Pretzel League. Keep it up.
Great video of a couplke guys having fun. Love it. MORE!!!
“Once I save it you’ll know what I’m talking about”

Coaching college hockey again, My league started back up, and NHL doing a full season. Good times
Dude i was literally there 2 weeks ago this is my home rink never would have thought you would come here love u man
Love to see KVG out here doing charity work for these young players! Must be a humbling and rewarding experience bud
Wicked video thanks for sharing!
I didn't know goalies could be that accurate with a goalie stick.. Wow
My season started last week... it was amazing being back on the ice.
This was a good vid, it left me wanting more at the end. "It just doesn't look as cool" 🤣
you are the best goalie ever! Keep up the hard work!
Nashville loves kaskisuo !!
Loved it! I'll be back for more
It's all about speed and handling! Nice video!
Sick set up! I’m also full right, and it’s hard to find quality used equipment. Any suggestions? I’m also rocking 32”, so there’s that too…
Keep stacking those pads - it’s a lost art!
Yeah, everyone goes nuts for a good pad stack, I've used then just because the attackers won't expect it, throws them off their game a little when used properly
It's a desperation move that takes usually puts you out of position for at least a few seconds of the play. Also not seeing how it "throws them off" any more than squaring up to the shooter as best you can to make the save in the first place. Don't get me wrong, I've used it, and them immediately realized how lucky I got if I made the save.
Saw this guy in the days with Barber and never knew he had a channel, glad it got recommended.
Fun video! I loved being a beer league goalie before my back had other plans for me lol. Gotta do a paddle dive video!
Too funny. Great video!
I freaking love hockey. Thanks for the vid man.
The little deek he did was funny af....
Love this beer league rules 🍺🍻
Difference between the 2: Beer leaguer gets drunk before the game, pro gets drunk after the game.
Fun video... played in that rink for Armed Forces Tourney this past Memorial Day weekend. That rink has real nice ice. It was a blast being there. Family Sports is still where it's at in Colorado though.... go Avs. 😉
You know you’re in trouble when he’s sniping with the big boy stick. Nice video
My two favorite CZcams Goalie
This is gold content
Love this, made me smile chickletts for sure :)
Best sport EVER!!!
the argument of "this looks cooler" is fantastic hahaha
7th generation Floridian! From south Florida. Let s GO ⚡🔩.
Epic thank you
This guy is hysterical
Kas missed a golden opportunity for a 'Windmill Wednesday' moment! lol
You play at ford ice center I love that rink the new Antioch rink is nice too I have so many memories in this rink that’s so sick
That was funny! thanks
Way to keep the pad stack alive (maybe just in spirit)! 👍
Comedic gold
That’s where I play! Woo!
Good trick you should keep on doing it
that was awesome
I was bottom rung on top level beer league and a college player joined pickup. Only then did I realize I was an absolute pylon. Worlds apart.
No way, I'm a double-stacker too. But it has to be timed just right. The team and the crowd love it! They go nuts.
I like your goalie pads you are my favorite CZcamsr
"it doesn't look as cool"
Sounds like Johnny in Cobra Kai
Haha I made that stacking glove save in an IHL practice one time when I got to sub in at our rink. It was well worth it :D I’m a full right as well.
I LOVE the Nashville Predators so much there my favorite team in the NHL
hes with the our leafs!! cool!!
2 pad stack is definitely the best save…period.
1:50 mark.... looking cool is 90% of the battle
-elite beer league goalie
I want to be a goalie, but my dad doesn’t want me to, but you are my favorite goalie!
I played there once in travel hockey when I was like 14. So 10 years ago. Came from Fort Wayne for it
A good goaltender great a few change game.
Kane Van Gate, I've noticed that there aren't many training and/or demo videos with full right goalies in them. I'm an ice and ball hockey goalie who has recently switched to full right, and I'd love to master the VH and RVH. Are there any good resources that show a full right goalie doing those post integration techniques. If not, I'd love to see you make one. Thanks!
I’m pretty sure @InGoalMedia had something like that? ingoalmag.com/magazine/ but I like the idea!
I looked there, but all the goalies in the pics are regular. If there were videos by Mike McKenna, Pavel Francouz, Tomaš Vokoun, or another full right goalie, I would gladly watch those. It was cool to see you doing an RVH with the blocker on the left post. Maybe you and Trav4oilers can do a collaborative video on this topic?
For me, the most difficult part with the RVH is getting into the position. For the VH, I can either butterfly slide into the post and pick up the leg that is against the post or drop down from a standing position (that is what I usually do). How do you go from a regular position into the RVH?
Awesome
Nice video.
Hasek made flopping around look so easy, didn't he?
Hey…I played er, got blown jump in net there earlier this year 😂 love that facility.
I have to admit, I do that stacked pad thing a lot too...
LETA GO PREDS
Hey I know im late sending a message after this long but I payed a tournament last year at the ford center. I also play 14U A1 for Ice Hawks Southern Il.
That’s where I play my games
So humble. Lol.
Two-pad stack only works in a game. If he saw that he would be a convert. Rollie Pollie Super Goalie!!!
Beer league cab out drink the pros bois
That's funny shit!
I love pad stacking it
you know what’s cool fluery diving glove save against toronto
Hockey People are the Best!
Hilarious video 😂
If you 2 pad stack into the post properly it knocks the net off and you get the whistle. Way less risky than having to cover the puck or making unnecessary rebound saves
Tää oli hauska!!
"I see you guys do this... but it doesn't look as cool" BBBBAAAAAAHHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Bring back the pad stack!!!!
Let's do a drill I'm good at -- needs to be on a BHL t-shirt/apparel haha
Not a bad idea!!
Rep the NR. Way to go KVG. BHL champs!!!!!
I remember playing somewhat ‘professional’ hockey where the goalies were textbook. Then a few years later I would occasionally play a beer league game and all the goalies watched way too much Dominik Hasek so they’d flop around, stack everything. Roll post to post and legs just flailing every which way.
This is my local rink
Is that Ford ice center? If it is I recently won a cam world invite
Bro was winded after edging to the blue line XD
I mean I'm still a fan of the two pad stack option... But I'm also not a pro soooo...
If you ever get called in as an EBUG then I want to see a two pad stack (even if it's just warmups)
Played one year of bottom division adult hockey goalie and was terrible. The highlight of my time in net was just saying "Oh what the fuck" one time and coming across the crease in a classic 2 pad stack, Hasek style desperation when a pass went to a guy point blank in the slot. Came up with the save and heard a gasp from the benches on both sides. Best decision I ever made. At the end of the season I promptly sold all of my equipment because I'm not cut out to be a goaltender but I will always have that come across 2 pad stack save moment to take to the grave. Hahaha!
Hahha! You sound like my Bantam level goalies. Wanting to do it another way to make it look cool.
The Hasek pad stack lol
Which Ford Ice Center?
Another righty here. Don't completely forget the pad stack. It'll come handy once or twice per season :D
Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuutaaaall
i am a big fan
