We always used rolls of electric tape as pucks for street hockey. If you scuff them up on both sides to remove any glue residue they work great.
I’m a girl from England I have never played ice hockey in my life , yet I’m here
Follow ur dreams
Hello from Canada :)
It's never too late
Get yourself some inlines, learn to skate, then learn hockey. Welcome to awesome aka ice hockey.
123 Hi! 😃🇨🇦🏒from Canada
I’d like to see the best carpet/tile puck too!!
Use a ball
@@traindeodorant8437 I mean you could, but imo pucks are better
xeno puck
Hey Jeremy, I actually love your heart and hustle merch. All of your videos are amazing and I love your channel. I am a long time supporter of you and can’t wait for more on-ice content once this ends. Love your videos.
I honestly dont remember a time that I haven't played hockey. My dad started me at 2 and it was my life from there. I love off ice training almost as much as playing. Hockey's the best wicked grateful for the sport
How to out yourself as a Bostonian.
@@Montrovantis lol
@@Colbyw74 that’s great that you love hockey. I’ve been doing it for a while to
That garage seems to be like my room. I clean it, then it gets magically filled up with stuff again.
Weird how that happens eh!?

@@CoachJeremy eh??? Lol
You're the man coach! There's so many off road pucks and you dont know what one is the best. This video really help's with what puck i should buy !
Loved it! This really helped! Do best shooting pucks next
Jeremy and Hayden, another great vid. Short to the point, informative and most of all Fun. Well done. Stay safe and know you are makingba difference guys. Oh and yes.. do all surfaces please,
Yes, please, please do a video on best pucks for street, tile, and carpet, Coach Jeremy! That'd be great!
Thanks for making videos of what we’re all wondering.
I saw this on your Instagram and I was waiting so long
Really nice reviews on different kinds of pucks. I am using the green biscuit for a while, and I am happy about it. The only problem is that it’s not durable. It doesn’t slide as quick as it was.
I’m using green biscuits I love them it feels like your actually on the ice! And it’s smooth. 😍
Nice video keep up the great work!
Golf ball with no tape on the stick blade is my favorite. Great video thanks!
Thanks for the videos and knowledge to pass along to others. Hope you guys are all staying safe and great ig live chat.
And definitely make that video that you can play anywhere
PLEASE make that video for the best pucks for all types of surfaces
i am new to hockey and this was really useful because i am going to start playing after lockdown and will need some off ice pucks to try. thank you Coach Jeremy
before you start you should take like pre hockey lessons where you learn to skate or just start off with roller blades i know its different then ice skates but it will help
@@skylar9129 thank you. I have signed up for a learn to skate course and have bought myself some Rollerblades and have been practicing gliding and stuff.
@@jodie2566 how u doin now? currently getting better at skating and i wanna start practicing hockey for next season
I always enjoy your content you are so good at teaching me hockey ect. I have recently started hockey its my first year and my team had won gold already!!!
Yo you are a big inspiration to me so I’ve started a channel a year ago to see how I will do I’ve gotten good on editing but thanks for inspiring me to start my channel keep it up 👍
Yo bro I just subbed to your account
Thanks
You got a new sub
(Uploads GTA vids)
I’ve had the original green biscuit for stick handling and shooting and It’s held up pretty well
The smart hockey one I use a ton and it’s one of the best pucks to use on smooth surfaces
Hey coach you really help me don’t stop making videos
love the 2 piece green biscuit for the rough pavement
Awesome video. Looking to buy some of these !!
Hey
Jermey
I love your videos!
I like the dryland puck the best, because I can actually shoot it, and it moves very well for the most part when you break it in. What I would go for in a puck is the features it has and how difficult it is to control. I don’t care if it can’t move well, I see it as a challenge to make it move well.
The picks that I use of ice are the green biscuit roller puck which is great fir smokth surfaces and the green biscuit alien very good for at night time .
I love these vids
The dangle puck works so good on my tiles
You Should review the blue cake! I personally have both the green biscuit and the blue cake but I prefer the blue cake stick handling hockey puck
Yeah I bought the $5.00 one from Canadian Tire 2 weeks ago to shoot pucks indoors and it was really bad. Exchanged it. Glad to see how it performed outdoors before buying again.
Yes, please make that video
Please do a video for stickhandling and shooting on tiles!!!
I bought a cheap "Road Warrior" Street Hockey ball and it's so much fun to stick handle and toe drag release shoot in my room, even as a complete novice with a cheap stick and no hockey experience
My boys and I love the Green Biscuit. We also use the Smart Hockey Puck for one timer practice. It doesn't slide as well, but it can take a beating. We also like the cheap street hockey puck so we can practice saucer passes and shooting on a street hockey goalie. It bounces but if you give it a good spin it will glide straight and so it forces the kids to learn to spin it. For games a simple street hockey ball is king. For shooting we just use a bucket of beat up ice hockey pucks.
Jjjjjokoojoj🎉 2:07
Super Video!!!!! I love hockey and there's just no ice here to play it..... (hint Im in Nevada) more kids are getting the hockey buzz now....
all ive ever had for an outdoor shooting and stick handling is the og green biscuit i also have like 90 pucks and i have a ccm tarp tho to really work on shooting but i use my on ice twig for outdoors cuz i have a wraparound:)
Green Biscuit makes a roller hockey puck now and it's pretty good. Also Bauer makes one as well and it is also pretty good. But I agree that the original green biscuit is best for stick handling on concrete but it's not the best on my tiles. The best on my tiles is the Verbero puck which I don't think they make anymore.
What about the green biscuit snipe?
Julian Hky agreed, the snipe even works well for stick handling on smoother surfaces like a tennis court
I don't know what plastics they use for these things, but I think the green biscuit stuff is better than what they put in snipe.
True, I just use the normal green biscuit
For shooting I’ve used the green biscuit snipe and green biscuit roller puck
I love this guy he’s the best
That’s sick Dude
Definitely do that video
yes please make the video
I have the smart hockey puck and it even works great on carpet, it’s amazing
Keep it up
Definitely make a hockey video 👊🏻
I would like to see a video about the best street puck
Definitely do the other video of different surfaces.
Yes make that video
Would you happen to know if the green biscuit works on rubber paving?
I’d love to see a video about all surface pucks
I have the green biscuits and I love them!!!!!
you were making me made when you were stickhandling on the concreate like use the tiles
My thoughts exactly.
Have u got the new Marsblade’s
What's the best ball/puck to handle while rollerblading around the neighborhood?
-GB is great but loud... Been using a wiffle ball with cut up tennis ball inside
Have you tried an IDS pro-shot puck? I've never played hockey and thats the one I got, wondering if it's any good or if I should switch to a Green Biscuit
I remember using the yellow and black one growing up on roller hockey
You need to film a video wearing those Lange molded skates that are in your garage :) Classic
Yes do the vid
Hi coach. Is there a site that sells picks u recommend. Or even a site that sells that overstock or Mia made. Trying to set up some in home lessons for the kids and on a tight budget. Also some visiting team new friends at the rink told me a site that sells all brands sticks that r just a little off or overstocked for less. By the time I left the tourney I forgot the name. Thx in advance
Hey Jeremy I love your videos! You should totally do the best pucks for each surface. Also I got my HockeyShot shooting pad hoping that I would be able to stick handle rubber pucks (I was going to use it to shoot as well) but I was disappointed to see that it didn’t work well. Any suggestions on making rubber pucks slide better? Thanks!
Put some pledge on that puppy and it will work much, much better
How big of a pad are you shooting on?
VollHockeyPucks L or XL
@@Spanish96930 The pad is probably big enough to gain puck momentum. However, vulcanized rubber just isn't suited for them. And the problem with so many off ice pucks is they can't withstand the impact of a hard shot against a steel post or concrete backstop. You need a puck that is suited for both.
VollHockeyPucks I promise you it will work if you just try it. It’s not my weird quirky thing, it’s pretty standard practice with these kinda shooting pads. Google it.
I don’t play jockey what so ever and I still find myself watching these videos
I like that since he's just finding them in the garage they're in the condition they will end up in instead of new
I am using the green biscuit sniper and it doesn’t slide that great
I did it was my frankly my TV hummer and it works perfectly it’s a great puck
I use the PRO 2 HOCKEY PRO INLINE PUCK for street. It’s very durable and glides well. Definitely check it out.
Totally agree with you that those are the best gliding pucks outdoor that you can actually shoot. My only beef is that the nubs tend to wear down quickly.
nice and shared!
I HAVE THE ORANGE STREET HOCKEY PUCK AND I LIKE USEING IT
I love hockey
You need to have the Green Biscuit PRO in the sauce contest. That puck flies! For tiles, the Original Green Biscuit or the Green Biscuit Roller Hockey puck. They’ll take both of those categories too. 🏒
OK I don't know if you'll see this but here I go. My calibre is Junior A and I want in the next two years to step it up to make a junior AA team. Do you think that is doable? :'). Was looking at this to find ways to work on hands in the summer (definitely my weak point)
Can you do the carpet and tile puck video
Please make one for tiles
Anyone recommend a puck for roller hockey outdoors in cold temps? can’t find one that doesn’t break after a few good shots.
Proud to be here
The Hummer looks like it might be good for someone working on fast-paced coordination, since it's relatively unpredictable
I use the smart hockey 6 oz
Do they still make those old street hockey pucks with the 3 black balls in the middle of the puck? Used the a lot as a kid.
I use the original green biscuit or the green biscuit snipe
I keep hearing old timers talk about 3m 88 tape once worn in I'm going to try that next, curious if you ever messed with it
I love hockey and I’m playing mite a this year
I love your dog
How are you doing Coach Jeremy? Long time...
You should give FlyPuck Pro some more props, for it’s weight alone it functions impressively on asphalt. Green Biscuit is terrific unfortunately it breaks easily and more times than not inline roller hockey folks need an all around roller hockey puck not just for stick handling.
I’m surprised you didn’t try out ProPuck. You wanna talk about all around time-tested time-proven roller hockey puck 💯 ProPuck. Another puck you should also try out is the Xenopuck this focuses more on off ice training especially because of it’s weight exactly like an ice hockey puck, but it can also be used as an all around roller hockey puck too because if it’s durability and ability to slide very well on asphalt. It would be great to see you review these two other roller hockey pucks 🙏 ProPuck & Xenopuck
Not gonna lie I used a wheel off of a rolling divider from school and it works just like a hockey puck and it’s just the same width and diameter and stuff like that still pretty fun
Dude have you tried the new green biscuit roller hockey puck. Almost any conrete surface its the king. I dont even bring my shooting pad out to the outdoor roller rink
No haven't tried it yet, I'll have to check it out!
@@howtohockeytraining you're gonna love it. I think I would've actually gotten into competitive inline if they had these out back in the day
We love your vids. And your very on point with this video. But it sounds like you've encountered too many gimmicky pucks. For instance, the Hummer only has two wheels working in the line of direction that it carries. Let us know when you plan on doing another vid. We would like to challenge the wayside. Cheers!
That 2 dollar puck I have those in my school they are so good
Me personally i use a fly puck because i really like the feel of it and its a bit heavier
As kids we always used balls because of the roll mimicked the glide of ice. Flat pucks on pavement have too much friction. I just hate how balls curve sometimes when you shoot them hard.
Growing up Franken 3 pack and flanken street pro
I use the green biscuit snipe because it is durable
Out of curiosity what was the point of the net? 😂 it wasn't like actually used.... Unless another video was filmed before or after this video
Green biscuits are the best. I love using them off ice
From the insta live👍👍👍👍👍👍
I have the green biscuit one
jeremy who were you talking about on your live
