This is exactly what i am working on right now. I've just released multiplayer in VR Hockey Reborn so you can play up to 6 people in lobby, with both goalies and field players. Oh, and it's free

I'd just like to see what the actual "movement" would be like. I'm sorry, I get this (from a technology point of view) is def an achievement and all that and in no way am I hating on it, but it just seems like it's still "early". N ATM, it's like "stationary" hockey (the whole drills stuff).
How does actual "games" work. Sure you could have an entire empty room, fill it with 20 physical people and get a "full game" and all that, but is everyone just standing still then? Lol or if you actually move to move, then that's gonna be some "slow" hockey.
Sure everyone is going to get a physical work out cause they will be running around everywhere but there is a reason why hockey is on blades or ice skates.
it would be cool if they some how implemented that into the game. How you're using a real stick etc. u should actually be able to strap on roller blades and the sensors idk just track that "movement speed".
If they pulled that off. Then literally you could just have a giant empty room/space. Get a bunch of friends (that will obv have to have headsets, the game, gear etc) and have a real deal "virtual hockey game" going.
So it's def a cool "idea", just ATM. It's pretty stationary.
Would just love to see what this "evolves" into. Good work, either way.

Shootout idea! Hint to your opponent what shot you’ll do.
At the beginning of your turn, do a deke. Then do anything you want until it’s time to shoot. Your shot has to match the first deke you did at the beginning of your turn.
Example: You start your turn with a one hander deke. Then skate normal and do whatever you want but your shot then has to be a one hander. It’s kinda like you’re telling your opponent what you’ll do before you do it.

My experience playing on carpet: Shooting high barely works, hard passes as well. I will give it another try on hockey tiles. Also, the puck feels way too light. It is like playing with a plastic puck that pings off of the blade with the slightest touch.

My son was one of Sense Arenas original beta testers. It's so much better now on Oculus, but even back then it felt pretty realistic
