2024 CKMBHL Hockey: 06/16/24 Chatham Sharknados vs Lamplighters

Game 9 was the third and final matchup against the Lamplighters for your Sharknados in the CKMBHL Regular Season, and your guys came ready to play! The Lamps had 9 players in their lineup but played a solid game, respect must be shown for their effort and hustle.
The first period featured 2 goals scored by the ever reliable Justin Allaer - your captain Kyle Wellington, Skylar Jackson, Parker Graham and Matt Ruttle assisted on those two beautys!
The second period was pretty solid as well, Kevin O'Connor ripped a nice clapper from the point that Catlin Delyzer tipped in to give a 3-0 lead for our guys in grey.
In the third, the Lamplighters got on the board with a goal by Elijah Pezzotti. Kevin Poirier quickly rebounded from that and make more big saves to shut the door on them. Parker Graham stepped up again as he has done all season scoring another beauty that was the insurance marker - assisted by our Captain and Justin Allaer. It was Parker's 14th goal of the season.
And that was it, the Sharknados by a final score of 4-1. With the win the guys have firm control of Division 2 with 3 regular season games remaining.
The Sharknados MVP of the Game was awarded to Kevin Poirier, Kev has been a key piece to the 9 game win streak. Congrats on the award!
The next game is Sunday June 23rd against the 5th place Arrows who are looking to get out of the basement. Start time is 6pm
