@4:36 That scene! I had a Star Wars book when i was a kid that had scenes from the movie. That scene was in the book, but it always confused me since it wasn't in the movie!
There were other reasons these scenes probably got cut if you think about it, other than those stupid reasons. 7. Disney were terrified people would think ep 9 horrible right off the bat if they saw Rose in it too much. 6. This is already the slowest star wars movie to begin, so having more talking would just slow it down more. 3. People can't lose limbs in a Disney movie. Also having Phasma die, then get back up again, only to die again does feel clunky. 1. In the final release of the film, Luke says "Where's Han". And they cut straight to Kylo Ren for the first time in the movie. When I first saw this scene, it sent a shiver down my spine. The mourning, like a lot of these scenes, is a good scene, but they didn't have room for it (That's why Ren is my favourite sequel character, even with the bad lightsaber duels and wishy-washy villainy. I also liked the whole dyad concept with him too.😊)
I personally didn't care for Rose's character or storyline. Nothing to do with race or sex...just didn't find the character interesting. Donnie Yen's character and brother in Rogue One were very good. Hate how if you don't support some characters, it's automatically racism or sexism. Don't like the new Charlie's Angels, well clearly you're sexist. Doesn't matter that everyone loved the originally movies with an all female cast, has to be sexism!
I just started this video and reason 7 is total BS. Rose was almost as awful as Jar Jar. To bring up racism discredits any integrity WhatCulture has. I do not care about race or gender at all and like actors of all backgrounds. Rose sucked... and YOU are racist for trying to defend her based on her race! This video a dislike from me.
No paper in space seems odd, they have to had paper before data pads or such, that and where did painters did their paintings? If Star Trek could have papers in the future, why couldn’t Star Wars have paper in space?
That's a bit of a...cultural assumption. Like saying they must have had land lines before getting cell phones, when in real life many regions did in fact skip the land line phone and went straight to cell phones. Moreover, it's a thematic choice to show that technology has been so advanced for so long that paper is virtually non-existent. Not unlike the telegraph or the gramophone.
@@franklinjablonsky7613 Kind of missing the point, since there's no paper anywhere in the Star Wars universe so far we've seen, doubt painting canvases exists also.
@@ChakatBlackstar Kind of doubt the phone thing. Many worlds that got into phones had to have done it since its introduction or a bit later, so even they have to had landlines before cell phones.
Personally... and I'll admit, this is probably an unpopular opinion... I always thought that Greedo shooting first made Han look more like a total badass. Please allow me to explain... Despite the fact that Greedo initially got the drop on Solo, he still stayed calm and in control throughout the entire scene. And the fact that Greedo didn't just shoot Han's heart out through his back at the moment he had the chance showed Han that Greedo wanted him alive. Worse for Greedo, Han just sits back down with his left hand raised and his right hand in the very last place Greedo should want it to be; right next to his blaster. This shows that either Greedo is a rookie at bounty hunting... or that he's clearly a moron for not making sure that both of Han's hands are where he could see them. So, let's put ourselves in Greedo's shoes for a moment. You have your target right where you want him and are feeling incredibly pleased with yourself. But he's stealing your thunder by just looking at you like you're just another annoyance that the Force, or whatever powers-that-be put in his way. You want to wipe that nonchalant look off of his face. But you can't just kill him, because if you do, there goes your big bounty. So what do you do? What can you do to try to get him to show you some respect? Warning shot. I figured that Greedo's shot was a last ditch attempt to intimidate Han. However, unfortunately for Greedo, in his inexperienced and moronic stupidity, Han knew that Greedo wouldn't kill him and had already prepared his response.
3:48 So Luke was The Toad. Charles Martin Smith, aka Toad, in More American Graffiti had the hot girlfriend and was a Huey Pilot. My favorite character.

This video a dislike from me.
by YOU I mean WhatCulture.
Disney killed Star Wars. That is all.
Favorite sequel trilogy character: Yoda
I hate that, dont mention Rose Tico without also mentioning she was a trash CHARACTER, thats equally important to the actor hate
The SW fans are trash.
@@dhenderson1810virtue signal received. Thanks…
BTW you are a fan too. 🤣😂🤣
It's not virtual signalling that you hate Asian people.
@@dhenderson1810i never said anything about Asians. You on the other hand, are virtue signaling and white knighting like a good brainwashed liberal.
Best sequel character is Poe
Now i want to see darth vader vs a wampa
Without a lightsaber. Just good ol' hand to paw fighting
The minute you start arguing for more Rose Tico, is where you lost me. Try not to be so obvious next time.
This is obviously a shill channel. No one with any sense advocates for Rose Tico. The character was just horribly written…as was this video.
No paper in space seems odd, they have to had paper before data pads or such, that and where did painters did their paintings? If Star Trek could have papers in the future, why couldn’t Star Wars have paper in space?
You paint on canvas
@@franklinjablonsky7613 Not if you paint watercolours.
Quit blaming everything on racism. Rose's scenes were cut because there was nothing appealing about the character.
What do you expect from a checkmark fascist
You’re the problem. Pretending racism doesn’t exist, it does.
My most favorite sequel trilogy character was the end credits, really made me happy those trash movies were over
If they added these scenes back in. The movie could be changed for the better.
It would be really cool if they would make shorts or somehow integrate deleted scenes into new story content, not just for Star Wars either.
I thought Rose Tico's role was cut in Episode IX because the Chinese audience and censors didn't like her kissing Finn in Episode VIII?
Rose's character simply lacked verisimilitude. Not the actress's fault. I blame the writers.
6:35 At those ranges, he who fires first survives.
If you fire and miss, you should not be carrying that sort of weapon.
Sad that the coolest thing 3PO did ended up getting cut.
It wouldn’t have really worked for 3P0’s character. He’s not clever enough to do something like that
Personally... and I'll admit, this is probably an unpopular opinion...
Greedo's dialog clearly indicates that the bounty for Han is just as good "dead". Jabba wants Han shot as a warning to his other smugglers.
@@Rocketsong Then maybe the bounty is more for Han alive... this is just a theory, after all.
3:48 So Luke was The Toad. Charles Martin Smith, aka Toad, in More American Graffiti had the hot girlfriend and was a Huey Pilot. My favorite character.
No one liked rose that’s why those scenes were cut
Favorite sequel character? BB-8. He was rhe only one who filled his role perfectly.
The rest of the characters can be chalked up as "wasted potential".
Please don't try to link Han Solo and John Wayne. John Wayne refused to fight the Nazis. But said people who refused to fight in Vietnam should be sent to prison. There is a word for that, and I already used it in this statement.
Sexist trolls? They didnt like it because it was a Trash Character with to much emphasis
Rose isn't hated cause she's Asian. It's because she's a horrible character that added nothing to Ep 8. She was cut from Ep 9 cause Disney finally realized this and was trying to save face with its fanbase.
Okay, but come on! C3PO tricking Storm Troopers THREE times in 3 MOVIES is totally worth it!
Seriously? You couldn't have left Disney's Star Wars out of this? I was so looking forward to watching this until you had to add Disney's into it
Kylo, baeba baebaa
I just tend to watch those Biggs scenes between Rogue One and New Hope
My favorite sequel character is Bo Bo Frick 😊
People did not hate Tran, they hated the character and the whole story arc she anchored. It was not personal, it was just we wanted a good story.
Except the racist tweets and death threats made it personal.

Should star wars be rebooted?
No. It should be laid to rest.
For the "favorite sequel character" question, none of the above
WHYUH!
can you please tone down your requests for likes/subscribes between every list spot
if you annoy the viewer they are likely to do the opposite, or stop watching your channel altogether.
Some of those are just as well. A few would have been nice.
Greedo did not fire first, Han did not fire first.
Han just fired only. And John Wayne's overrated, anyhow, George.
How would Han know about John Wayne?
Han lives in a galaxy along time ago, far, far away.
John Wayne isnt born yet on Earth and dinosaurs are still running things
My favorite star Wars character in star wars episode x must be poe
Either han solo bb-8 r2-d2 chewbacca force ghost yoda 3-- po maz kanata or porgs
Sexist Racist Trolls my foot. The Character of Rose was aweful. People were only reacting fairly.

“Who is your favourite sequel trilogy character?”
NONE OF THEM!!!!
THE DISNEY ERA OF STAR WARS SHOULD NEVER HAVE HAPPENED!!!!!!
This may be just my opinion but I think that OG fans are getting angrier and angrier with every project now being released. Star Wars has become one of those franchises that were awesome back in the day but now should just stop and that makes me sad.
Poe Dameron
Dude Rose was a pointless character. Move on lol
Talk about dumb scenes that SHOULD have been deleted ... how about the battle with the Bouncing Yoda? Boing, boing, boing ... follow the bouncing Yoda. Is he made of Flubber?
What is most annoying is the over the top, all the way to the moon over-acting in this guy's voice. Can you imagine him ordering in a McDonald's drive through?? Just speak somewhat close to normal, it saves about half your audience from hitting mute.
This video made me despise Rian Johnson even more. I have a sith like hatred toward everything he does. His fancy boy detective films can go straight to hell.
Rose’s character sucked. That’s why she was cut, period.
1:04 online abuse from sexist and racist trolls? We can see this channel is sponsored by Disney. Why else are you spreading that lie.
Her character was bad, period.
Rose sucked anyway she didn't add to the film
Rose is an annoying character. Whether it’s the writing or the actress. She is not good. That is not about race. That’s just her being a bad character. Same for Finn and even Rey and Kylo Ren.
The only good character in the sequels is pow damron. The rest of the characters had shit writing
Luke came across as a real asshole in The Last Jedi.
Jake Skywalker @@David-yw2lv
I liked Finn as I like his backstory of being a trooper who defects.
I think it would have made a good TV series.
The modern femnist crap in star wars has to go. They know what they did to star wars....
FYI I will ask CZcams not to recommend this channel anymore. I'm done with the if you don't like my crap your racist some mting-a-phobe
Well to be frank there is no good characters in the sequel movies. Sure JJ abrams did start good, Rey, Poe, Finn and Kylo sermed interesting, but Ryan kinda broke them all. The only character that got fixed was kinda Rose Tico in the last Movie.
Please stop acknowledging the existence of the Disney sequels. They suck and should be disregarded completely. There are only 6 Star Wars movies, period
