Montreal deadass sounds like Buffalo with the potholes and construction sis. We have this one street by my moms house that has literally been blocked off for like two years and they didn’t even do any work ... it’s still blocked off....
Nice video. Sorry you have had to put up with some prejudice. We believe in manifesting so try not to expect ppl to be mean beforehand and hopefully they will surprise you the next time you interact with a new person. Like you said, a lot of the 10 things you hate are just annoyances so don't let that take you over. Montreal is a great city and the ppl for the most part are nice and kind from our experience: we're from Toronto too and prefer it here. There is so much to explore and we haven't even touched the tip of the iceberg yet. As such, looking forward to your "10 things you love about Montreal"! Stay positive and GL in learning French (we're working on that too). One thing for sure, the locals LOVE it when you attempt to speak their language, so keep at it.❤👍
@@goldenxkenny sorry for the english thing. In Montréal its a vicious circle people are stubborn and fuel the hate of each other, sadly there many people like you who got stuck in the middle.
Off topic but your soo pretty! I've been debating moving to MTL from TO for so many years, would you still say that it's worth moving to MTL? Are the winters really unbearable? I don't drive so most of these points don't apply to me, and I plan to live near the city centre/st. Henri, shaunaughessy village/ west mount/ NDG area.
Since you’re not gonna be driving a lot I think it’s worth it. Compared to Toronto it is sooo much cheaper, but if you do only speak English it might be uncomfortable for u because of the attitude some of the francophones have towards anglos. For the winters, they are definitely a lot more “Canadian” than Toronto 😭 it’s colder and more snow fall but usually in the same time frames that Toronto gets snow (so like mid/late-December to early March).
Hi, I'm new here. I hope to learn more about living in Montreal. I'm a prospective french speaker.😃 Can expatriate get teaching job (Biology) in Montreal Quebec? I will like to migrate to Quebec someday. Thanks for the informative videos 👍. Greetings from Abuja, Nigeria. Africa.♥️♥️♥️
I know you Moved back but can you make a 10 things you love? Me and a friend are considering moving from Ontario and want to hear a black woman’s perspective.
Idk I still feel like the cons far Toronto are still worst. No one our age can even afford a home here. But when I go to Montreal I can buy two homes if I wanted too lol
@@TomHuston43 Good point. Sadly, economy and political situation in Mexico really sucks lately. There are not many professional job opportunities in here.
Get out of montreal Kendall 🤣🤣 me I could never leave there. Im super good in south shore 🙌🏾 & imma stay there & make my babies there period!! & Im at 15 min max from d-town🤪 no problem with the parking sis there is plenty over here🤣

It’s so disrespectful 😭 honestly the roads are similar can’t lie. But the potholes here are sooooo bad

This is still facts ! Trust me 😩
@@goldenxkenny you should probably buy one soon before they sky rocket like Toronto.
Are you from quebec ?
I don't like Montreal that much, but I like so much Manzanillo (Mexico) and Cabos San Lucas.
......but can you get a job in Mexico?

The title of the video is wrong. It's 'why I hate being a driver in Montreal'.
I agree
😂 thanks
Keep up the Montreal vids😇
Thank you I will 🥰
So mostly the driving. Yeah, I agree. Don't drive here.
Do you not speak French?
Everybody knows her points already. Not informative.
