Edit: Thank you everyone for... A LOT of likes. I apologize if this kind of comment is kind of unoriginal but I really didn't expect it to blow up, I kinda expected maybe 100 or 200 likes at most with this, not the HUGE amount that it is at... I really appreciate it

I think this is the best and most clear display we've had so far of each stick figure's respective play styles. Green, being the best builder, is the only one to use blocks offensively (slime blocks), and prefers to fight with a fishing rod. Blue of course is a master of potions and almost always fights with a bow or crossbow. Red (my fave) has a strong connection with mobs and is the only one to uses spawn eggs as an advantage, plus prefers using a sword. TSC doesn't stand out in any particular field but he's decent at everything and uses the shield and fireworks a lot. And lastly there's Yellow who built the course using knowledge of redstone and coding.
I also love how none of these traits appeared immediately. We do see hints of them from the very first Animator vs. Minecraft, but it's amazing how we got to see each character figuring out their expertise. Like we saw Blue trying to figure out how a brewing stand works, or yellow first learning how to operate a command block. Their developments are awesome.
TSC firework flight also mimics TCO's own perfered flight technique, both using hand jets and moving in very similar ways
TSC is basically a jack of all trades
For me the TSC is the best in "PvP"
@@d73w80chance or coincidence?
i feel like TSC is a pvp kinda guy
i like the detail of how involved Yellow has gotten with these. in the first coaster, he just sorta built it and let it run, but here he's more active with how the track runs and making sure it's smooth for the rest of the crew to race in. good stuff.
Having access to a command block staff helps too.
And he tried to make everyone happy by making everyone first place
yo digo segundo y no el primer lugar :V
love how blue, like any good racer, chose to make his strategy drug abuse
Hahahaha😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
bro eat nether mushroom, soup mushroom and even potion (Imagine you drank real potion)
The reason why I loved this competition episode the most out of the other contests is because we actually see everyone's greatest strengths here all put together.
TSC's resourcefulness and natural ability to create new mechanics (catapult from TNT plus shield) or use solutions from a hindrance (using the chicken trap to get ahead in the air)
Green's absolute ego made him wild with a mixture of parkour, going on the offence and doing whatever can be done to slow down the others. A lot of his moves were skill based.
Blue kept things at a distance. Being the more patient one of the group, the way he used mainly long distance attacks and waited out to attack multiple of his friends at once (i.e the first TNT thrown) was just epic (plus I think he was laughing after that was thrown). Then when that didn't work, he used drugs.
And finally, this made me happy the most. We got to see Red being smart here. He was literally the first out of the group to keep finding ways to get a lil faster. And that chicken trap was *chef's kiss* Usually Red acts like the childish one of the group, tantrum and playfulness alike. But here, we saw what happens when a child gets pushed too far and yearns to win. Like when he was pelting Blue with snowballs, like come on. Plus we got some of his animal knowledge to help too.
Even all of their tantrums at the end reflected their behaviour. Red, being the childish one, threw his trophy first and near Yellow while comparing himself to the rest of the group on how he's better. Green, having an ego to match his cool skills, threw his away the most powerfully with a whole "WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?" SC is in complete disbelief since his competitiveness matches Green and the fighting nature from being a second version of The Chosen One is made apparent. Then Blue, as he's the most patient and empathetic, is the last to throw his away as he's trying to process what Yellow just said despite all his "efforts" (drugs) to stay ahead
Only Alan Becker and his team can make an episode that literally makes me write a long ass essay despite me being on holidays. 😭

I love how Yellow built the race in a way that encourages creativity!
I like the subtle nod that TSC is much more comfortable flying than everyone else, and basically defaults to it whenever he needs speed.
Must be a nod to TCO.
Edit:
TSC is Orange, and it stands for The Second Coming.
TCO is The Chosen One.
TCO can fly by lighting his arms on fire and using the flames for propulsion.
In the brief moment TSC had access to his powers, he flew similarly. Unfortunately for him, he passed out and forgot he had powers, and nobody but TCO saw him use his powers.
In this video, TSC uses TNT knockback and Fireworks the most out of everyone, even using the fireworks similarly to how TCO flies. He doesn't even bother using them in a crossbow to attack, instead preferring to throw them... kinda like how TCO throws his fireballs!
Just... brilliant.

With Alan Becker, you know it's always going to be a masterpiece of an episode or a short.
TSC: Superman
Green: Spiderman
Red: Antman
Yellow: Iron Man
Blue: Dr Strange
I do think the rest of the ones are right but if feel like yellow would be witch and red would be like Cinderella with all the animals lol 😂
@@zanerthegamer4747 Wouldn't blue be the witch because of all that brewing? And I definitely agree on the Cinderella one. I thought iron man would be good for yellow as tony stark is the smart guy when it comes to tech and stuff and Antman was the closest marvel/dc character I could think related to animals at the time.
@@animesurferking After a lot of googling, the guy you're thinking of is Animal Man. Super old character, but he works.
How about orange?
@@animesurferking OH YEAH my bad I meant blue 😂
In a way, I was really hoping Red would come out on Top here.
You can see just how aggressive he is in this race (despite not fighting the most. That goes between TSC and Green) that his straight forward competitive side really flourishes. He is arguably the first to think of every minute way to gain just that extra little bit of speed. He is the "Work harder, not smarter" arguable variant of the group. This has caused him so many losses in the past. From the pedaling with the Minecarts -to actively trying to swim in the water - using the rowboat on ice - and slowing the others down with chicken spawning eggs. And of course using his animals. His skills rarely get to flourish and put him ahead of the others in many of their competitions. It always seems like he tries the hardest yet his fruits never truly pay off. Despite it all just being for fun between them. In a way I kind of hope he gets a real golden moment to shine where he gets his payoff in the future for all this hard work. I am not expecting anything super grand - but a nice definitive solid win he can claim as his own between them.
its good that im not the only who note that red always think first how go faster and the rest copy him
i totally thought red won
red was the only one actually trying to get to the finish line while the others were just trying to get each other behind them
You're right.
And he was the first one who tried to attack The Dark Lord when he beat TSC, but he knew (i guess) that they don't stand a chance.
it kinda looks like red did win. if you slow it down frame by frame, you see that red was touching the line before the other three.
Red:Unexpected moves that mostly involve animals.
Green:Skilled show-off moves that usually involve a fishing rod somehow.
TSC:Smart moves that usually involve either being in the air or just genuinely having the upper hand.
Blue: *drugs*
Blue is highly addicted to it.
Red also notably cares for the animals such as trying to avoid letting them get hit.

I love how everyone used their respective areas of expertise to their advantage.
Orange/TSC, as a sort of Jack-of-all-trades, used items that were applicable in many areas: fireworks for speed boosts, TNT, and a shield to bounce off TNT explosions. Notably, TSC uses fireworks for flight in a manner reminiscent of The Chosen One’s Iron Man-esque method of flight. His main method of offense was mostly swordfighting.
Green, meanwhile, used items to match specific situations and terrains, like his fishing rod grapple, slime blocks, and Riptide Trident. Also used TNT very offensively.
Blue had a few big tricks up his sleeve, mainly that TNT at the beginning and those -performance-enhancing drugs- *speed potions* near the end. He also used fireworks offensively. Overall went for big boosts.
Red was pretty innovative, thinking of new solutions on the fly. Kind of like what Green did, but more on the fly. Also used animals both for movement and for offense.
And then there’s Yellow, who designed the whole course, likely with the help of the command block, fitting his engineer-ness.

Green: He’s a builder and loves his fishing rod so he uses stuff like slime which most builders use in order to save himself as well bounce ahead and he uses his fishing rod to swing ahead and grab the others.
Blue: He’s a farmer and potions Stickman so he uses potion of swiftness in order to zoom past the others.

Not really, they are still good friends that care about each other's well beings. They are hypercompetitive, however.
I guess it’s like a Mario and Luigi situation.
Mario and Luigi are brothers and they care about each other a lot.
But when it comes to competitive games, Mario and Luigi are rivals, fighting each other in order to win. The fact they’re brothers no longer matters when they’re competing.

@@teglasdenis3089yea but not the way it’s used in the animations
You can hook players, mobs, boats, armour stands, minecarts, and even items in 1.20. At least they kept the fishing rod.
@@teglasdenis3089yea but swinging?
Alan is proof you don't need high detailed characters to be entertaining somehow he made stick-figures the best animations out there. Thanks, Alan!
Edit: Wow I have never had a comment blow up like this, thanks guys!
Facts. The most bottom line basic looking characters have now become some of the most recognized to the entire world. Truly because you don’t even need to understand English to know what’s going on. He makes stories for ALL his viewers. Truly remarkable.
But usually effects need to be a little complex or at least not an empty background so it looked better and a smooth animation
No matter how complex the characters are,if they are animated badly then it is bad, even if you worked hard on it
@@shadowzarin I agree that is one of the reasons I like watching these animations because it is simple and complex at the same time, there is no real way to explain it.
I feel like the animations have turned into a anime
Minecraft is proof that you don’t need good graphics to make a good game. It’s a match made in heaven
i like how they would fight to death just to win and would also break their friendship 😂😂
Alan doesn’t single-handedly do all of this he has people who help him
i find it hilarious that blue managed to reach his peak performance not in a fight, not in some kind of life-or-death scenario, but in a friendly race that escalated quickly
He's the god of drug, my favorite.
@@monst3r54 Agreed
Right now just based off of this i think blue is like the 3rd or 2nd strongest
I like that red seemed to be the first every time to just try the simplest thing everyone else copies. First to use shovel to propel the cart, first to try swimming when they were under water, and first to pull out the boat next to the river. I like to imagine he’s the most impulsive and most down to earth.
Plush, he won the race (with the others) just by passing through the ending line by himself while the others used something to speed up like TSC used a fireworks.
He's certainly quick to adapt, always paying attention to his surroundings.
Just like nature, he adapts through instinct and blind impulse.
@@Happy_girlbff1 He probably ran out of spawn eggs.
blue going godmode ✨
Gotta say, the animation was incredible! This channel has come a long way since those first days of Animator vs Animation!
I love how in every competition they have no qualms with beating the ever loving shit out of each other, but still remain best friends when it's all over.
Peak friendship!
It's just an average friendship of boys
Well, they all do come from a stickfigure fighting each other flash anim.
And it's not like they can actually die. Even when deleted, they just end up back at their flash game.
The fact that their inventory always appears when they select a new item is absolutely stunning

After rewatching this series all this started with blue not having any nether warts
I love how angry they are at the "Everyone wins!" thing. xD
Something that will always amaze me is your ability to write and animate an action sequence of MULTIPLE characters simultaneously. It's already hard enough making an impressive 1v1. You constantly have team battles or battle royals and it's crazy to make it consistent with all the unique attacks and movements each of these characters are pulling off.
Yeah, Alan Becker's choreography skills are insane and there are so many neat interactions and creative attacks you can see when you watch the video again. A few I noticed:
- 2:46 Red using the minecarts TSC knocked off the track while attacking Green to get to the front, then Green stealing TSC's minecart, kicking it at TSC's new minecart, which knocks Blue out of their minecart and lets Red take it, and then grabbing one of the minecarts for themself with the fishing rod
- 3:05 TSC using their sword to jam the wheels on Green's minecart
- 6:20 Blue using the slime blocks Green threw to get to the front and throwing Green at Red, which Red has to dodge
- 6:29 The chicken that Red uses to float down stays with them, and when Green grapples onto Red's bee, Red uses the chicken to block Green's sight, then tosses the flower to distract the bee and spawns another bee to ride
- 6:47 Blue managing to clutch at the very end with critical shots on all three of the other stick figures
Yeah
even better imo is they have their own identities too that stays consistent they have unique attacks and movements all the time but it still feels on point for each of their characters
It helps when you have a whole team of animators helping to move production along
@@thassalantekreskel5742 true but that still requires an amount of skill and effort from each member it doesn't make it any less impressive
Everything about this is so good, each one having there own strengths to win the race. Green using more tatical approaches with slimes tridents and basic 1v1 combat got him in the lead most of the time. Orange using anything and everything to his advantage while even being in the disadvantage. Blue while mostly using techniques he saw on the spot still had his power play of performance enhancing drugs to go god speed. And my personal favorite red who relied on his animals to help him gain speed but to also slow the others down. Great race and poor yellow who didn't know what to do at the end with the 4 way tie
Orange with the explosives, Blue with the potions, Red with the spawn eggs and Green with the fishing rod.
Quite the race, it was also cool to see them improvise ideas. Red's snowballs, Orange's TNT boost, Green's slime blocks and more.
I love how Yellow built it in a way that the only way to complete it is to be creative and find work around to things. It shows he really understands his friends.
Also going pixel by pixel blue made contact with the wool before anyone did
Honestly I'm surprised that alan becker's pc hasn't ran out of storage after these many builds in his pc lol
Ahh finally. An episode where nothing truly awful happens. Just a race between the characters.🙂
Yeah it's great, oh wait I think they killed yellow at the end
Until you realize that if red had bit a little more accurate with his throw the yellow would’ve been knocked out and probably would’ve gotten a concussion
While also arguing like siblings. Definitely don't wanna get involved unless you have a death wish
fr, literally cried 2 times on the last 3 episodes
I just wanna thank Alan and his team for creating amazing groundbreaking animations like these, it really gives me hope for the future of animation :)
It’s sort of a piece of old CZcams that keeps on surviving because of them
The music literally syncs to the actions that are EPIC!!!
A lot of creativity and so many tiny details that is amazing
I can't believe how insanely complex the combat has gotten in these videos. Absolutely phenomenal. And the complete lack of dialogue forcing such heavy use of physical comedy is something we don't see often anymore. Every damn time. Love it. Can't wait for the next one.
first of all who is the winner ?
@@johnson5670 all of them if you pause the video at the right moment you could see them finishing at the same time
For real, like these are fictional characters, but it somehow feels like they've improved in combat
@MarioPLEX !!! so who won?

I love that the ending wasn't like stereotypical friend groups, where they're all happy to have 1st place, they're actually upset that Yellow would even think to do such a thing, so realistic and hilarious. Such an amazing animation
Honestly Mojang should start taking notes because rn minecarts just feel like something to use when you're feeling too lazy to hold w
This man would be GOD OF STICKMAN ANIMATION
The way they display different skills and show how competitive they are really is refreshing
Yellow is clearly loving the command staff - this race looks like stuff he could only dream of making
Remember the first race? It was already quite elaborate and Yellow made it with his bare hands. The command staff greatly boosted the efficiency.
Wonder if something will happened to yellow....
7:24 tsc called orange
So this race was really successful! 🤣
Absolutely hilarious how everyone else's strategy for speed is relatively practical, whether it's using fireworks, fast animals, blocks that can give you a boost like slime or TNT... and then Blue just gets iced out of his mind on swiftness potions. A true drug addict.
Blue is literally 🏃
Blue had a need for speed
Everyone had their strengths. And for Blue, he's all about potions. He DID go through literal hell and almost a black hole just for some nether wart, so it's not outlandish to say he's addicted.
Blue: THE POWER OF NETHER WART PROPELS ME!
blue's having his A-train moment
