haha, I do hope they will know ;) books and movies won't just disappear :D There won't be another series like Harry Potter, but this doesn't mean you can't find your own series of books and movies in the future that can make you feel the same way. You never know... even at this moment somewhere in a small café a young writer might be writing the first pages of what is to become the next epic saga ;) (just like J.K. Rowling did so many years ago)

What people loved - and i loved - is that we grew as older as the kids in the books/films also did. The feelings from when you were a kid will never be the same again. That's why I'm sad and HAPPY whenever i think of Harry Potter. This serie was a part of me

+EFF3CT I think Harry Potter will be like Lord of the Rings. The books go in and out of popularly, but will always be critically acclaimed. JK has been credited for getting children (mainly boys) to read and the story has a timeless feel to it. But I do agree that one day remakes will be made. Let's hope they follow the rules of the current films.
Welch 1nc Yes, but are you sure about the remakes? :/ I think JK Wouldnt guive away the Rights for the FIlms / Warner Brothers , But when they make a remake i think it would be sad because the cast for the series was Perfect ( In my Opinion) I would like a 3d remake which would be really cool at as example the Priori Incantatem ( the connection you know) And mostly because i could see harry Potter in the cinema I was only 10 as the Last Part came out so i missed every Movie in the Cinema which is sad :(

I know I’m late but I just finished the entire series for the first time ever in a few days and wow I missed what could’ve been a beautiful part of my childhood, these movies certainly did not disappoint and deserve all the hype it has, so glad I finally decided to watch it 🙌

I kinda regret that I grew up without watching Harry Potter movies in cinemas. Have lived in a small village until high school and started college in 2014, I was an avid reader since 12 yo of the series. I went through waiting every summer for my parents to buy the books from the nearby town and finally watch the first movie as late as in 2014.
Wow, it's been a long time and I've actually never seen this trailer before, half of it is just Voldemort screaming lol.

I remember my sister and I saw it together opening weekend
Still the highest grossing film of 2011 and the best of the 8 movies
Feels short but is still an example of powerful storytelling
The emotions, the characters, the drama can be just as powerful as the big budget special effects
David Yates did a fantastic job finishing out this series allowing us to linger with these deep character moments and Alexandre Desplat's score is the most emotional
Happy we finally learn the true meaning of Harry's existence even if that portion was a massive change from the book
I won't lie I was tearing up by the time it was over
Amazing we went from kiddie stuff to somber finale about death, mortality and the crushing reality of it all
Also confronts the tragedy and mystery too
Love all these callbacks and connecting story threads
These actors have matured and evolved so much since that first movie, I'm very happy they've succeeded as well as they did
Such an emotionally satisfying and nostalgic close to this franchise
Changed so much for moviemaking and book readers

I had not read the final books and saw the trailer and went to see the movie. I did not notice the dead Fred because that scene could have literally been about ANYTHING else. It's not like it's the first time Fred or George are lying unconscious with worried people around them. No spoilers if no one points it out, and the only people who would point it out are the people who read the books, who already know how it ends so it doesn't matter.
