- The call to adventure was persuasive, drawing Alan C Mack into the special operations community as an MH-47 pilot with the prestigious 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR).
The attacks of September 11, 2001, prompted the creation of a robust and deadly special operations force: Task Force Dagger. Alan C. Mack, Callsign Razor 03, led a team of MH-47E helicopters and armed MH-60s. We touch on this mission about the Horse Soldiers of 5th Special Forces Group Operational Detachment-Alpha (ODA) 595 where he provided aviation support, and a few other operations.

This unit is legit, they were scary good pilots. They gave us regular legs, rides all the time. Everytime they said we were flying NAP of the earth, you knew it was going to be an interesting ride.
Al is THE Mam in the cockpit. His skill on the Takur Gahr mission is one that likely no other pilot could have flown. Wow, what a hero.
Had the honor of serving in combat with Al and training with him, always cool as a cucumber.
It's a honor to hear this man's stories. Such a great man. I could listen to him for hours. I'm glad he's on our side.
May God bless him and his and
God bless America 🇺🇸

Awsome to ride in a 47 under nvg......the static on the blades is cool af
Those guys are actually a part of the special forces. The night stalkers 160th soar.
That's right. Tier one.
Tier two actually they are special operations aviators.
Great story, I do find the sound a bit strong in the bass.
Quality microphones or the people talking’s voice. No bass is added in the process.

Did no one look through the camera to see if there was an obstruction before hitting record?
Yeah, we did. It was a total miss because when we tested it through the lens, the bill of his hat and the light blended together. Mistakes happen, but we didn’t want to can the video.
@@Mentors4mil Good episode none the less
What’s the movie he is talking about? I’d like to check it out.
