I was on an elite crew called the Night Stockers at Walmart #3671. We would stock the shelves from 11PM to 7AM. One of our most practiced TTPs was hiding 2/3 of our team from immigration officers when they showed up unannounced.
My grandpa was in the Blackhawk when Cpt Keith Lucas was killed…he was one of the crewchiefs on the bird…when they got shot down the military told my grandmother that he had crash in a training accident. There is more to the story…but I do know one of Keith’s daughters, her name is Annie Luccas. I as well aim to continue the legacy in the family by becoming a nightstalker as a Chinook CrewChief and then a pilot…NSDQ!
I served with General Paul Funk when he was a colonel commanding 1BDE, 1CAV Division.
These 160th guys can literally put one tire down on a Little Rock off a 60 degree mountain in the pitch black grab up 20-30 men and fly out like pulling your car out the driveway.

I used to shoot the shit with a couple of the boys with 160th. I wish I remembered there names. That was back in the early 2,000s. Great group of guys though. I was pretty much, right down the way in 1sr Brigade, 101st Airborne. 160th SOAR and 5th Group are as solid as they come.
Anyone can lookup the "black helicopters" little birds 160th flying through downtown LA a few yrs ago.
