Cool! Looking forward to getting the copy I pre-ordered on CastleMania Games seven months ago.
In addition to some retro stores carrying the bundle. It's also on the Renovation Collection 1 for Evercade
there was technically a ueropean release but it was literally the japanese release with a sticker on the back detailing the game in several languages and a sticker on the front saying compatible with pal systems also it had the japanese manual and a smaller manual with european text in it. The game rom had both languages so you could twitch the ingame text if you went into the options menu. ABC plus start on the title screen
anyone here OLD ENOUGH to remember when this game came out in America and in the tv commercial they had people trying to pronounce the name. good times.

Its a great game, I played it years ago when I had a Japanese megadrive. I picked up the Renovation collection for Evercade which has this on. Good to see these games re-released given the high price of the originals.

Wooo! Nice to see the Genesis/Mega Drive getting some love in 2021/22... In the past year, I've gotten over a half-dozen titles between the new and reissue releases put out. Of course, now that I see this, I wonder how many MONTHS it will be before I get my copy from Limited Run Games, lol. I already have a legit copy, but c'mon - who wouldn't want one of those sweet Gaiares shirts?
I have the original back at home in the uk. I brought a import mega drive and a ton of games back in the day with my parents as a kid at my local video store closing down sale . Always one of my favourite games .

With nowadays systems costing $500 a NEO GEO would be fine. The problem with that system was the cost of the cartridges $200+ each! But now technology should be cheaper say $70 per cartridge would seem fair. But why not do a mini system with ALL of the games included not that mini arcade. Hey dreaming is free!🤔

Oh man this takes me back. We didn't have a lot of money when I was a kid, so I would get about 3 games a year, Christmas, birthday, etc. One of those games was Gaiares. I just played it over and over until I got so good, I could beat the game without using a continue. And then I could beat the game without dying. Man, nowadays, I don't even finish most games. LOL

these releases for retro games (at least the shmups) are a good way for retro fans to get the games for a decent price instead of trying to find complete copies of the original releases.

Gamers are returning to physical media, the mainstream games companies like physical media less still imo ... less profit margin and you only buy once... plus the chance of resale value... 🤠
This game is sick. I’ve never beaten it despite playing it from time to time through the years. Brutal difficulty
Also I always thought Gaia-Res stood for Gaia Resurrection, which is what Dan is attempting to do fighting through these levels.

You'll have to buy it on the secondary market, cuz it was a pre-order. Castlemania might have a few after they ship out to the original purchasers. Or, you can check your local game store.

No but it's HELLA ugly, this has the proper cover, is guaranteed to be complete and in nice condition, and includes goodies.

It's the Analogue Mega SG. Its a FPGA based Genesis Clone that plays Genesis/Mega Drive Games as well as Master System, SG-1000, SC-3000, Game Gear, Sega MyCard, & Mark-III games through cartridge adapters.
