Is there any way we can control which part will pop new growth?
For example I like it to pop 2 growth the most left one and the most right one

Hello. New growth comes from the areoles of the plant and usually from the upper ones at random. So you can try to remove the areoles where you do not want new growth and force them to grow from the ones you did not remove. I hope you success..

how will i know when the cactus is mature enough to propagate? thanks, mine is tiny
hi! as long as there are areoles where the new babies will grow from after the cut has dried, but i suggest to let the plant grow big enough so the new babies will be bigger and healthier.
