      Glad to help! There is a ton of it to get your authority started, your company legal (LLC or however you do it), and keep track of taxes. This is just a small but extremely important piece. Appreciate the feedback!!

      @@shipleytransport3211 hey I have watched all your videos. Because of your information we are on our way to start our business. Do you recommend any load boards? Truckstop.com? I have other questions to ask you guys. Is there an email that we can use to send you our questions? Thanks for the help.

  • @crystalspringstransportllc226

    You should do a video on brokers who deal with new authority owner/operators.

      That’s a good idea. I’ll see if I can get done information together and do that in the bit too distant future.

    Can you recommend tie down techniques to safely keep goods undamaged as you do on your flatbed trailer

    Hello and Thank you, I was looking into dispatching hot shots. What do you look up in/on load boards? And which load boards do you recommend for hit shots for non cdl drivers. I am also located in Missouri

      So we use Truckstop and DAT. On both of those I select flatbed, step deck, and hotshot. Then I put in my size parameters and deadhead distance and see what’s out there.

      @@crystaluncharted8366 well I’m not entirely sure what you mean. As far as I’m aware the carrier packets between broker and carrier are broad spectrum.

    Can you please tell me on winter time are you busy or not and what you think about about 26 feet box truck what to think what is the better. Thanks

    • @shipleytransport3211
      @shipleytransport3211  Před 3 lety +2

      So speaking from the flatbed side of things, as long as you have a good tarp and are skilled driving in bad weather, you can stay busy i the winter. I’ve never ran any box trucks and have zero knowledge in them so I couldn’t answer that for you.

    Do you ever find it hard to find freight being non CDL? since you have to be under 26001 truck,trailer and freight.

    • @shipleytransport3211
      @shipleytransport3211  Před 3 lety +2

      At first, dispatching was probably the hardest thing to do. Once you find out what brokers you like, the types of freight you prefer, and the lanes that pay you the best, finding non-CDL freight isn’t too bad. Don’t get me wrong, not every day is Rainbows and Unicorns lol but it’s not real hard.
