    It amazes me that no one has ever made a 1/25 scale kit of a 41 to 53 Buick. So many alternatives with small adjustments. Then you also could make The Y-Job and the LeSabre show cars.

    • @atleeriksen8514
      @atleeriksen8514 Před 4 měsíci

      ..so start with a 41 Convertible with either two versions, stock and early style custom with chopped and padded Carson top (Google Herb Ogden 1941 Buick) ...and then the 41 Sedanette stock and/or early custom...and/or lowrider.,....please. :)

      @CharlieLarkin75 Před 4 měsíci +2

      A 1941 Century Sedanette, any of the wagons, or a 1949-'50 Roadmaster Riviera or Special Sedanette would be very well-received, I suspect.

      JoHan is the only one who had molds for the Javelins. AMT borrowed them for some reason. I think in the process, those Javelin molds were modified for the later 71-74 AMX releases. JoHan kept releasing the 1st gen AMX with 2nd generation into the nineties.

    One complaint I've had against the 57 300 ever since it first came out is that the decal sheet has no "300" red white and blue quarter emblems... they're virtually impossible to paint, and it would make the model look SO much better.. a drop of clear over them and you'd be set to jet instead of having them look like they were put on with crayon... I have at least a half dozen copies of that kit in its stock configuration, but that one thing (and some instruments) would make the build of it so much easier!

We talked about making a 3 car body pack with the 70s stock cars. Chevelle- roadrunner- charger .. I been buying some used 70s stock cars and they are kinda pricey for used slot cars. Dodge magnum - AMC matador coupe - ford thunderbird - mercury stocker all start around $45 . The magnum is hardest to find and most expensive

      Round2 needs to think of adding more to their existing kits, such as bodies, grills, bumpers from other years that could be combined with existing kits, such as 71-75 Impala/Caprice that could be mated to the existing 76 Caprice, or 68/69 bodies to mate with the existing 67 and 70 kits.

    How much would it take to reverse-engineer the '66 Thunderbird tooling, or to do new tooling, so you can sell 1964 and 1965 Thunderbirds, along with the '66 models you currently release from time-to-time?
    I think this '39/'40 Ford combined kit is a good idea you could do with other body-styles from past years by auto companies.
    The Thunderbirds from '61 to '63 also come to mind.

    Chad. I just watched Chris and you on your Round 2 models shop tour. Chris kept repeating to reach out and comment about what we like to see.
    Most defiantly a cool place to work and see the behind the scenes. I've been getting back into modeling and right now it's semi-trucks. One truck kit that needs to be retooled and reissued is the Mack 'Rubber Duck" so much of that kit is incorrect to the movie truck you have buy aftermarket parts. Nobody ever did a model of the oblong chemical trailer either. It would be awesome to see that redone.
    Something for your consideration, I know I'd grab that up in a heartbeat!
    Cheers!

    As you might assume from my screen name, I am a Corvair fan. Thanks for the occasional reissues of the 1969 AMT annual Corvair Monza coupe/convertible kit. Would it be possible to reissue one or more of the 1960-64 AMT Corvair annual kits? No "Early model" Corvair models have been available since the 1964 AMT annual Monza Spyder coupe. Better yet would be a full-detail retooling of any of these.
    A few other ideas from my Wish List: a 1969 Chevy Impala SS427 Sport Coupe. As far as I know, the Sport Coupe body has never been made in 1:25 scale, just the more formal "Custom" coupe, as is used in the 1970 Impala kit that has been reissued a few times over the years. And I would love to see more station wagons. Being a Chevy fan at heart, my suggestions run along those lines: 1969 Kingswood Estate, 1970 Chevelle (with optional parts to build an SS tribute custom version), 1973 Chevelle Laguna wagon, 1958 Chevy Yeoman 2-door wagon, and an Impala from the 1961-64 range, and one each from the 1971-76 "Clamshell" and 1977-90 "Box" eras. Neither of these two eras of full-size Chevrolet has been represented enough in scale. Speaking of the 1977-style Chevrolet, one last thing: I would bet that you would sell out your production of 1977-79 Caprice coupes within a week, especially if you included OPTIONAL low rider suspension parts.

    Great, even more die cast I can never buy because the 4 Walmarts & 3 Targets shelves are ALWAYS bare. Sales tip: Make sure your products get to your customers so you can make money and stay in business.

    I've often wondered if the model companies ever really listen when modelers request something, or just 'consider the source'. Some of the cars that are offered in die-cast would be highly welcome in 1/25 scale plastic. I've really been surprised, that other than original promos, nobody had offered a 54-56 Cadillac in either coupe or convertible. A 49/50 Buick convertible was used in a popular movie, but is not to be found in 1/25 scale plastic. The 57 Olds was and still is a very popular car, but not in 1/25 scale. The 55/56 Mercury is an easy build off of the 56 Ford, as would be a 55 Ford. You're missing out on some very easy 'new' kits, in the form of a 1968 Chevy from the 67 Impala ( a 68 Biscayne with a big block would really be cool), or a 69 Chevy from the 70 Impala. These would be new body molds and simple minor interior alterations that would still allow the chassis and related to be utilized, while still being able to keep the 67 and 70 kits intact. For the 70s, the Chrysler Cordoba was a very popular car, but I've never seen it in 1/25 scale, nor was the Boat tail Buick Riviera.

    Will Round2 do anything to improve their 1/64 diecasts? Greenlight is coming back with their incredible under the hood line with working suspension, opening parts, lensed details, multipiece bodies etc.... anything in the works to compete with them?

      Those are Monogram kits, not Round2, and all of that stuff is owned by Atlantis now. You need to request it from them, but an unrelated company.

    I wish they could sell complete engine kits. That way we don’t have to buy a whole kit just for the engine. Come on guys put these out. I need 340’s 383’s and 440’s.
