Love the Dodge Dart Short Track Car 🏁🏁 It's a GREAT time to be a Modeler!!! 🤜🤛🙂
im waiting patiently for that 71 chevelle ss to come later this year
Nice pickup and Riviera !
Hey one day there should be an all new tool for a 70s Cabover
(Diamond Reo, White Road Commander, Ford 9000, etc) just saying 😇👍🏼
Nice stuff...really like too see some new drag car stuff...
Thanks again for doing these videos. Would love to see the rerelease of MPC pro stock racers of the early 70s.
I'm not giving up! I still would like to see reissues of the Barris Thunder Charger from the movie Thunder Alley with decals for both the movie version and post- movie version, the Meyers Tow'd and 1971 Torino Cobra with the NASCAR parts. None of those models were reissued after their initial release! Why? I would also like to see the 1960 Chevy Bel Air (?) station wagon Craftsman series kit reissued. Thank you!
Since you are wearing a Blues Brothers t-shirt, when can we expect a 1/24th scale 1974 Dodge Monaco sedan aka the Bluesmobile. I so want to build so many stock and demo versions.
Totally agree.
It's been said for decades now, that last-generation C-body Monaco/Royal Monaco would be a huge hit, especially if done for multiple versions. Perhaps someday someone will listen.
Glad to see the Dart Kit Car re-released!
I can’t wait for that ‘60 Apache! Could you guys consider bringing back the 1974 Pontiac Firebird? Thanks for all you do guys!!
Got to say I miss the old opening sequence but I guess you decided to so a revamp. Thanks for the product update.
I've seen a few of the " old " dart kits. The dart kit can't be popular if I've seen the old ones. I'd like to see some other Dodge,Plymouth Fargo, pickup truck kits or car. Like 30-70's. Thanks
Would love to see the Corvette Summer car as a die-cast....that and the black Trans Am villain car! I think that would be a hit!!
Love the awesome creativity at the beginning of this showcase 😮. Nice change. Good job creation crew. Thanks Chad 🤙 keep rocking it. Hope to see more old Ford pickup models 67-72, 80-86, 92-96 in all the configurations diecast Premium AW. Thanks, crew, at Round2
I’m a Mopar guy but I’m not into race cars. But I’m sure lots of people will enjoy the Dart. How about bringing back the MPC 71 cuda in 1/25 scale!! Or a 71 Challenger RT!
Everything you guys come out with shows how much you care about keeping this hobby going! Thank you
While I don't collect Johnny Lightning military, I think you guys hit a home run with this series 👍
A great day in the world when Round 2 has its new releases.
I agree Pete
I live about 40 miles from Tuskegee. It's cool that y'all did a plane in their honor!! Plus the Commodores were from there also
She's a brick house, she's mighty , mighty letting it all hang out!!!😅
I've been foaming at the mouth for that firebird lmao
Good 2nd gens are rare and it's even rarer to see one that isn't a TA
The 73 through 87 square body 4x4 long bed would be a great kit
That Johnny Lightning WWII set is very nice!
👌😎👍Your WW2 Vehicles and Aircraft are very cool indeed, You should also make some British and German vehicles and Aircraft as well to go with them!.
Cool weathering on the military vehicles.
That 66 Rivi & 60 Pickup looks cool
I only have one 1/18 Scale in my case and that 🐦 looks it might need to be added to my case too
Still waiting for the Beverley Hillbillies truck 😊
How about a JL "Beverly Hillbillies" truck?!!!!
@@davidparker8221 ...Awesome ,yes.
@@davidparker8221...okay yeah. Best day ever. Happy 4th 2024
1921 Oldsmobile 43-A Roadster ✔️ 2 versions in show Regular & Hot Rod version. They raced in a episode. 👀 🏁
@@davidcrawford219 Granny's Moonshine Express!
That Dart kit car is sweet.
I've built that Riviera back in the Ertl days. Love that kit.
You still need to do a 73 Chevelle SS though.
I would love to see the MPC Dick Landy Dodge Challenger Pro Stocker 1/25 KIT Being Re-released 🤔🤔🤔 ... cause there going for 350$ to 400$ on Ebay, it's just to crazy🙄🙄🙄 !! Really Hope that KIT will come back out...🤞🤞🤞
1961 - 71 Dodge Power Wagons & pickups please!
STILL WAITING FOR MORE JUNIOR CRAFTSMAN SERIES! HOW ABOUT A 1960 CHEVROLET STATION WAGON?
When will you be bringing out more big rigs
I’ve been modelling for 60 years. How about releasing more 1/25 plastic scale car kits from the 1970’s to today’s models. Tired of the same stuff I built 50 years ago. If you want to keep the hobby going and get new kids into it you need current models and the prices need to come down. By the time you buy the kit, paints and glue, etc you’re spending $50 ($70 here in Canada) what kid can afford that. I can’t even afford that anymore.
I got back into the hobby around 6 years ago. I basically build 1/25 cars. I probably built around 60 and you're right on average about 40 to 50 bucks. Definitely not a cheap hobby. I find that many of these kits are the same kits with a few extra parts and new decals.
Preach!!!!!!
I second that the price is getting ridiculous! There's no way those kits are costing more than $5 to produce these days, or much less.
@@JohnC-or7lnI started building at age 5. 48 years later I'm still building, but I refuse to buy any of these new kids at their ridiculous new prices. I wait for clearing deals and sales and garage sales - swap meets... These new people at the new company have new objectives - $$$
Right. Especially when they're using old molds. They don't even bother to clean em up. Still have that gross flash we took off when we were kids@@garytanck
We need some of these cars in 1/87 scale. Be nice to get a Plymouth Duster or a Chevy Nova.
As a complete big rig truck nut I have enjoyed seeing your company re-released old kits I grew up with but could you bring out some newer Mack, Kenworth or Peterbilt models
66 Imperial??!!
Nice looking model kits. Those should sell well. Thanks for sharing.
Is Round2 making Racing Champions 1/64 (or 3.25") diecast anymore? Or is the Racing Champions brand discontinued?
You need to come out with the '71,'72,and '73 Boat tail Riviera, with the option of bench or bucket, seats center console with a 8- track player, and a option to create the Landau top.
My wife had a '72, they were fun to drive too.
I love the military release from Johny Lightning
Where are the slot cars?!!!!
We slowed some things down to rework some product lines and make some improvements for future releases. Stay tuned, we got slot cars coming soon and we will be sure to keep you guys in the loop!
You should do a long box GM Square Body in 1/25, 1/64, & 1/87 scales. You should also to the ‘81 to ‘93 Dodge truck 4x4 with all three cabs. Standard, Club Cab, and Crew Cabs. I’m wanting to get two of your Dodge Warlock and convert it to a crew cab long box from ‘81 to ‘85.
DUDE, I had a '79 formula. 400 4spd... it's so cool that y'all did a formula. . And not another T/A. I do love the T/A"s, but there is millions and millions of them
67 Galaxy model kit already in ragtop and hardtop!!!!!!!!!
Wish amt would do the 63 c10 pickup again
Also the 1965 Ford Fairlane and the 1970 GTO both in stock trim. Not sure when they were last released as stock rather than 'stock cars', but they would be nice additions. All of these were AMT releases.
Another good month, thanks
Great video Chad!
The WWII releases are kind of cool. I might get a couple of those. Wouldn't object too loudly to another Riv, either.
Grateful for the new models
Can't wait to buid the Riviera. Any chance on the 1969 Chevrolet Impala getting re-issued?
Would love to see more of the OLDER kits like the 60 & the other ford pickup re-released & maybe not as much re-releasing kits from a month or 2 back. Just my opinion
I am so so glad to see the Dodge Dart racecar come back. As a WWII history buff I am very impressed with the WWII diecasts.
I'm glad to see a company trying to keep history alive like this. 😁
Cool kits for sure like that Chevy Apache ,sure would love to see that Javelin make a come back
thanks for all the cool kits.
Great video
Very cool stuff. I would love to see some older dodge vans from the mid 70s
I honestly wish you could have produced the military releases in TRUE 1/64 scale.
Thank you just the same!
Thank you AMT/Round 2!!! I'm really excited about the Dodge Dart round track late model and the Buick Riviera. I'll be ordering one or two of each. Thanks again!
Me too!!
Love the Kustom Kruzers line, as a massive hot rod and custom car guy I really dig it.
Thanks for the preview! Great looking kits. Looking forward to future releases in Kustom series. Dart has a lot of possibilities. Have a safe Fourth 🧨
When will you be releasing those 1/24 scale 2024 NHRA diecast? I was told that the on line website preorders will be available one month before the actual release month. So are we looking at August to be released in September? Let me know thanks
Cool 60 Apache pickup kit...
The Military set is awesome and love the Firebird and Riviera
If history is any guide, the Sherman never “wrought destruction” on much German armor…the Sherman’s strength was its numbers and usually took 10 Sherman’s to take out a Tiger/Panther
Cool Dart Stock Car kit!!
Very nice kits. Interested in the Kustom Kruisers series and the Dart
I've got all the versions of the Sherman tanks going back to the initial releases. Keep them coming !!
Hey whatever happened to the 1/18 scale 68 Dodge charger in blue that you had a few months ago I haven’t been able to find it anywhere?
The 1:18 american muscles are cool, but I’d really like to see you guys bring back more 1:18 silver screen cars
MAKE A 79-81 MALIBU or MALIBU WAGON.
I agree !!
I agree !!!
Cool 66 Riviera GS kit..
Have you corrected the roof issues on the Dodge charger ?
I would like to see the 1958 Ford Fairlane convertible. It has not been released since the 58 annual and think people would like to see it.
I love that Dodge Dart short track car. I have two of those from previous issues. Definitely gonna add this one. The pickup is sweet. Probably gonna have to add that one too. lol. Bruce in Wv!!!
Cool WW II 1/64s!!
Thank you for doing the marlin.
That Dart and Riviera are must haves, still waiting for an MPC Mustang II kit.........................................................................
A real lack of new products this year.
Very happy to see some Rivieras brought out. Keep going with a series of those.
On the other hand, disappointed that the '60 Chevy pickup only has custom parts, and not the factory stock parts. When the bodies are no different for a model between stock and custom versions, all the parts should be included in the kit, so builders can build the kit the way they want to.
(I only build kits that replicate factory stock models, so I won't be buying this custom.)
Any chance of getting 1/16th 359, or 4300 race truck
Luv that t-shirt
I'm going to say it every time... NEW MODEL YEAR TRUCKS !!!! PLEASE !!!
Thanks, Oprah...
How much would the diecast cars be from the manufacturer or whoever puts them out Walmart or some hobby store I was just wondering. Thanks.
As a Dodge guy , i am very excited for the Dart...... i will buy 10 kits ..
I would love to see AW go a bit more unique with its own releases not in the other lines, and JL release the Grand Prix and Cutlass to match those Monte Carlos you brought out last year.
I like the Apache truck the custom series can’t wait to see what else you guys should come up with
When will you guys re-release the 59 and 60 Chevy Impala model kits the ones for sale online are ridiculous price I really would like to see a re-release of those as well as the 57 and 56 Chevy Nomad
Awesome! Love the short track dart and buick riviera 😎👍🏻.
We want a early 70s chevrolet or gmc truck reissue!
"All new 67-72" Chevrolet and GMC pickups for me too! As well as the first gen ,(73-80), square bodies!
Need that formula
Perhaps you could repop the 1/20 mpc highjacker van.
Nisei is pronounced as "Ne-say". Also, it means second generation - meaning parents are from Japan, but they were born in the US.
I just hope we get back to where people can afford to have a hobby, again.
Those days are long gone never to return.I’ve got to the point that I’m not going to spend the money they want for these kits that have been released over and over again.
I might need to add the 66 riviera to the stash
Would love to see the 1973 Plymouth Duster Customizing kit release. That kit hasn’t been released since 1973. Prices of the original kits are out of sight.
Ngl was expecting more from the 1/64 lineup
We understand it’s a light month on new product but stay tuned, we have numerous releases in the works that we will be showing off in the near future. Lots of goodies coming! Stay tuned!
As much as Round 2 dove into all this great stuff, I salute their passion for what they're doing. These guys are very dedicated, I enjoyed watching all the stuff they got from AMT in a video a while back
I like the military airplanes . Small versions.
You know what would sell? 1:48 scale diecast vehicles. Plastic modelers would buy them and O scale railroaders would gobble them up. Not convinced? Check out how much they are charging for Fujimi’s vintage 1:48 Toyota kits. Or Renwal’s 1:48 collectibles. Or how much Woodland Scenics is charging for their two O scale vehicles.
While grateful for this release and any recognition, where you really missed the opportunity with this video was explaining that the 442nd was made up of the Japanese Americans that had all their property seized by the U.S. Govt and were placed in Internment Camps by that Govt and STILL FOUGHT FOR THIS COUNTRY! Oh BTW, Ni-sei is 2nd Generation (1,2,3...Ichi, Ni, San in Japanese). And it's pronounced, "Min-duh-NOW". My wife's father was sent to the camps and her great Uncle gave his life for this country serving with them (Purple Heart, Bronze Star, Combat Infantryman's Badge, Victory Medal, American Theater Service Medal & European-African-Middle Eastern Theater Service Medal.)
No ,HO Slot cars …Okay Then, What’s Next
Slot cars are in the works! We halted things and slowed them down a little to make some upgrades for future releases and to rework some things. Stay tuned! Lots coming!
@@Round2foryou , Thank you for responding back.👍
The military series is of special interest to me. My dad was a tracked vehicle mechanic with the 4th Armored Division.
I myself am an Air Force veteran.
Cheers
Terry
Have you ever considered doing a vintage police car series as like a 1 adam 12 or a Hawaii 5 o car or a California highway patrol Buick?
