- Manchester City produced a blistering performance to dismantle Manchester United in the 188th Manchester derby.
Erling Haaland and Phil Foden both scored hat-tricks, with City running out 6-3 winners in front of a packed Etihad crowd.
The champions were 4-0 ahead at half-time after two goals apiece from Foden and Haaland, as United struggled to cope with the speed of of our football.
Antony got one back for the visitors early in the second half with a fine curling effort.
But Haaland and Foden completed their trebles to put City 6-1 up, before Anthony Martial's close-range header and late penalty reduced the deficit.
It was yet another historic day at the Etihad that will live long in the memory of those in attendance.

Did anyone notice when Erling made the last pass to Phil ? He was taken down but immediately got up and was accelerating towards the goal. I've seen other players in a situation like that and they generally just watch to see what happens before getting back to their feet. He's always hungry for a goal. Well done Phil and Erling!
The first half of the game was exceptional, a huge hunger for goals, one attack after another, this was to fill the eyes with pure adrenaline, this game served as a basis to show what we want to see often throughout the season. Memorable day
This is about the 10th time I’ve watched this - in my opinion the best game of football I’ve ever seen. City’s 4th goal, Phil Foden’s second, is the best goal I’ve ever seen. He starts from deep in his own half, his pace is unbelievable, his determination, his strength in holding off the defender’s challenge and then the sliding score is just things dreams are made of 👍

I laughed when people said Haaland would flop. How can a guy with a fantastic finishing skill like this not deliver? Especially with an even better team, putting his doubters to shame!
Foden's 1st finish and Erling's 1 assist are less talked about in this game but are absolutely magnificent
De Gea turned into prime Yashin in the first highlight. and the second save by the defender was defending at its finest.

This one was more like a Fifa scoreline. Two hat tricks in one match is like something I'd get in game, not something you expect to see in a Premier League derby between two legendary teams.
I like how the commentator said "Oh, a penalty" like nothing at all happened😂
