Ilkay Gundogan and Jack Grealish added to the scoreline to make it a brilliant afternoon for a jubilant Etihad crowd.
The victory sees Guardiola become the quickest manager in Premier League history to reach 100 home wins, taking just 128 games to reach the milestone.

I think, the absolute best moment from city was Grealish intercept at 02:38, for me, if not because Grealish that was 99,99% goal from Liverpool, imagined if Liverpool scored that it may changed the dynamic of the game, and second best moment would be both goals in the very early of second half, that was so important it killed Liverpool's game and we put their heads crashing to the ground. And once again, the assist, the goal, and that critical intercept, Grealish is beyond amazing in this game. And all the players also played really well, hats off

But Haaland will finished more of some wasted chances, of course that long pass from Alvarez was beautiful vision, but I think for me still no debat, Haaland is still better goal scorer, Alvarez sometimes needs more chances to converted it to goals. I'd say de Bruyne, Grealish and Mahrez was the key of this game, everything's created from their feet, and Mahrez movement and control was so nice. Once again, Alvarez is really good too but no comparison still with Haaland. And do you think Haaland can't do passes or assist? Wrong, you clearly only pays attention on Haaland's goal numbers. He already produced some quality assists too. With that big tall , quick run and stable as fvck body movement, he can be a really good passer too, but of course he's not come to City for that
