You've inspired me to buy a 1/14 scale forklift toy and rebuild it with hobby grade stuff so I can play trucks with my neighbor(he has a tamiya king hauler).

Loved the first video, I like this kind of build. I've been wanting to build a "scale" model of a trailer I want to build full size, but the only thing I'm comfortable with is wooden popsicle sticks. I think a small welding project like this would be fun to attempt.

Hi Australia watching. I work with silicon and aluminium, a grinder, a drill and a dremel . I cut things with a hacksaw and file them. I enjoy your work. Thanks for sharing 😊

Another super fab video. Running lights would be cool on the trailer along with some spot lights on the truck to light up the bed of trailer. Found a new spot to take my 1/10 rock crawler to so time to go play.

Paint it with a satin clear coat, Eastwood! 2k. $30 . I use the rust oleum spray bedliner., then I scuff it back up to take some of the texture down. Then hit it with a clear satin 2K……………….. it has a four hour pot life and you could probably get three decent coats out of one can.

You should make the top peice out of tiny wood planks so it is like most bumper pull trailer

after you put it on the ground im betting the dovetail will drag on uneven terrain. may need to move the axles back and possibly cut some off the dovetail. cant wait to see it finished up.

Great trailer build looking forward to seeing it finished, but one may look better instead of steel sheet where your crawlers to roll on to why not use steel mesh instead ,also will you be fitting a winch on the trailer ,keep up the great work

Love your builds, all mine are mostly metal and heavy as h*ll also, But with that kind of weight you won't be able to steer unless you have open Diffs in the trucks rear axles, Ask me how I know!! Are your Diffs open? Just asking.

I have 2 questions, does you might welder plug into a 110 outlet & if it does what brand is it? How do you like it
It is a Vulcan welder from Harbor Freight that can do 220 or 110. I have only ever used it on 110, and it is awesome! I do all the RC stuff with it, and I did the bumpers on the white truck in the driveway. It has been a great welder with no issues for about 6 years now

They are the widest 1/14 scale trailer axles I could find on Amazon.
How much trailer weigh now
I'm waiting until it is all done to get the final weight. I'm guessing it will be a lot haha
