Can you test the Teverun Fighter Supreme next, mini motors sell it from their site as a pre order, it claims to be fast with dual 55 amp sine wave controllers. I wanna see if it can challenge the Wolf King GT Pro.
Where is Chuck Temple I miss him!!!
Have you seen the new SAY YEAH adult electric scooter model H08 Plus? It looks just like this GOTRAX Flex scooter, but it has a 500W motor, 36 volt battery, front and rear suspension, disc brakes, and an LCD panel with speedometer, odometer, and trip meter. It's under $500 on Amazon. Will you be reviewing that one? I'll put the link in the next reply.
Just ordered GoTrax FLEX - I used the money I saved using your code to extend my warranty. I look forward to using this scooter for local errands ! Ty for your review.
I need the pro model for that little extra range. Come on Gotrax! The XL Elite is still working and running some errands after 3 years. I highly recommend Gotrax for quality and design.
I recently suffered an e-scooter accident with my Apollo Air - I tore a knee ligament and am currently recovering. I'm not riding standing regular e-scooters anymore.
This GoTrax seated scooter is my #1 choice right now to replace my Apollo Air and help me start getting some mobility around my neighborhood. I'd say people usually would underestimate how helpful something like this is for people that have mobility issues.
Right now the Gotrax Flex is sold out here in Canada, but I'm excited to get this guy to help me start running errands without having to walk so much with my recovering knee.
Sorry for the accident! Hope you feel better. -Vosk
Love my GOTRAX! Have had it for 3 years and has been the best purchase in though 3 years! This one snuck under my radar but love the sit-down design and basket!
Great to hear!
Whats better this or the bike
I've been looking for a seated scooter and this one popped up lots on search results, great review!
Awesome! Thank you! -Vosk
Big thank you to you guys, huge help.
This is what I need - something in between an electric bike and scooter. I only work 3.5 miles from home so this is perfect.
I just got this for 300 and I love it I've done ebike and scooter builds had pre made ebike speedsters and I just love this I can use it all daty to speed through town and have done some small distancs (20-) miles inter city and have yet to have to call a buddy for a pick up. I love this thing
only just discovered your channel. great content!
Welcome aboard! -Vosk
Nice to see a variety of scooters coming out now and thanks for testing an inexpensive model. Do you know what the specs will be for the upgraded model and when it’s expected to be released?
We don't know yet, other than that it will have a bigger battery. I'm guessing it will have more power too. -Paul
Always good, and thorough info on the products. Razor makes one very similar to this. Whatever happened to Chuck on the show??? I wrote in the Razor before finishing the Video, there is a family in my neighborhood that purchased 5 of them
Thanks for stopping by! Stay Safe. -Vosk
Looks like an awesome little scoot. Wouldn't mind having this on my commute!
Go for it! Thanks for stopping by. -Vosk
Thanks 4 posting this video i appreciate u❤🎉
You are so welcome
Looking forward to getting mine in a few days. I'm a 60 yr old woman and plan on riding on our bike/hike towpath which is hill free & out of traffic. There's a produce farm market on the path and I can put a few groceries in the basket. Plus, I'm only 5'2 so I think the height will be OK for me. Being my 1st scooter, I think the speed will be enough for me, too.
That’s amazing! Please let us know how you like it. -Vosk
Great video subscribed now
You guys have the best channel by far. I have worn down my knees by walking too much, and my doctor says I need to cut back. So I started researching eScooters, however I am short about 5’5”. I jumped on a Segway F35 at Costco, and the handle bars felt a bit high for me. I did look at your Taur review, and you mentioned it being better for shorter people, but I’d like to stay around $1000 or below (and there is a 2 month wait for a Taur). I am leaning towards the uScooter gt sport, for the lighter weight and quality; but I don’t know if it would be to tall for me. Any suggestions are welcome, Thanks, you guys rock!
Thanks so much for the kind words! Uscooters GT Sport is a excellent choice. You can also check out the Emove touring
Me too
I bought it and love it! It is not for hills, and I miss cruise control from my Gotrax XR Ultra even more than speed and distance. 15mph seems plenty fast and half the time I like to cruise the tree-lined bike trail far slower with frequent pauses. Observe Nature. Eat blackberries. Birds rabbits squirrels and a fox. **Does anyone know if climbing hills very slowly adds distance? ** I would appreciate any answers or links. Thank you.
I like the basket on the rear good for groceries or whatever you wana put in it. It would be a nice feature if it had 2 kick foot paddles on the front just so if you don't want to place your feet on the deck. Big wheels less bumps to feel on the road looks like a mini bicycle I like it 👌
Very cool! Thanks for stopping by. -Vosk
Awesome scooter I have the jeston bolt pro I use the speed o meter app cause it don't have a display as well awesome review guys keep up coming 💪
That's awesome! Thanks for the kind words. -Vosk
i like you have a 2nd tester with you, that was cool.
Looks great. It reminds me of a Costco scooter. Like to try it for our review; especially for people with a mobility concern.
Go for it!
Curious if the pro model you mentioned will have an app on it? I have bought one scooter on your recommendations and looks like I'll be buying a second but will probably wait to see what you say about the pro and the price!!!
Not sure yet!
awesome review GOTRAX has a lot coming in 2023
We are very very stoked for the entire GX series. G5 and G6 should also fill some key holes at those price points that are largely uncompetitive to date, especially as the Segway Max has become more outdated.
I'm a big gotrax fan, my first scooter was the gotrax Apex, amazing quality with a price that's hard to argue. Unfortunately it was stolen go I purchased a generic 600w scooter from Walmart with a claimed top speed of 28mph, I could only get it to go 23mph but after shunt modding the controller and replacing the 10ah battery with a 20ah it'll go 27mph but I'd still trade it in a heartbeat for my apex back, sure it only went 15mph but the fit and finish was great, cold and water never bothered it unlike my new one that is affected by a 10mph wind gust lol
Very insightful! Thanks for sharing. -Vosk
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Do you always copy and paste your replied to channel fans? Kinda generic...
We take turns responding to comments. The vast majority of the time Vosk and I are both here in the comments during the first day, but had to travel out of state for a family emergency and missed the video launch today. -Paul
I'm interested in buying a escooter. Thanks for your review.
Awesome! Thanks for stopping by. -Vosk
I just bought the Gotrax Flex Ultra on Amazon and it has some pretty great upgrades like a bigger battery, 500w motor, both front and rear suspension, and a display that shows your speed/odometer for $100 more than this one. Will you guys do a review of that model at some point? It's really worth looking at for the budget price range
Possibly! No plans yet.
A wider basket would be nice. No way you're fittin' 50lbs of groceries in there. Is it even wide enough to fit a box of cereal? Good review. Cheers.
Well, looks like work from home will not be a thing, at least for me. So, I’m planing to buy one of these to commute that last mile from the train station to the office. The big question for me is: would it fit inside my compact sedan trunk? (VW Jetta 2017). 😅
Not sure!
Stil going through backlog of reviews but saw you hit 100k subs, congrats have you announced the gotrax gx1 winner yet.....let it be me please
Will be pulled very shortly!
If I ever buy a scooter, it's going to be a seated one. Very happy with rental/"shared" scooters in the area. But having the option of Veo's seated scooter is really worth the slightly higher rates. They ride with an upright seated position and legs bent at no more than a 90 degree angle.
Leg position is VERY important to me. If I want to tuck my legs under me I'll buy a Ninja motorcycle. I can't sit comfortably at the leg angles small seated scooters require.
Veo's seated scooter is just a little under powered on hills but not too bad, I don't have to walk them, just zig zag a little on tough hills. Also the seat seems designed to spread your cheeks apart; no suspension increases that effect. But something like a Veo seated scooter with suspension is what I'm holding out for if I ever buy an e-scooter.
Very insightful! Thanks for sharing. -Vosk
Good video I like what GoTrax did with the price & design but they lost me with the hill capability maybe if they add a little more power .
Many other options for sure! -Vosk
Hey! I just bought a Gotrax Flex Ultra can I ask you a question? Is it normal for the steering column and handle bars to be off slightly? Like not completely straight?
Take a pic and send to gotrax! Depends
Not my kind of thing, but it wouldnt be bad living somewhere in semi-rural area and having to do a short trips everywhere. The price is deffo a plus for what it offers by the looks of it.
Very Cool! Thanks for sharing. -Vosk
I have the flex ultra 😊 love it
Good deal! I still like riding my regular bikes because the whole idea of biking is to get an exercise. But for someone who wants an electric scooter w/ a seat this is a good deal.
Hello . Thank you for your review but can I ask a question about these scooters. I know there are three models: the flex, campus and campus pro. My Mom how is turning 80 at the end of the month, is wanting something to get around the neighborhood/stores at her leisure. She doesn't feel safe in a car anymore but likes the look of these scooters. Wondering your thoughts on this or the different models that GoTrax has for a elderly person. Just trying to keep Mom safe but give her some independence for coming/going. Appreciate your time and feedback!
Jess 😊
Flex would be safer than any scooter!
How would this work if you wanted to use with a dog alongside? Is there a special attachment? Thanks.
We have not tried that!
do you know if there's a lumen rating on the headlight? I checked the website but it doesn't say. It just says bright LED headlight. I hope it's at least 500 lumens. I had an electric scooter before that came with a 250 lumen headlight and it was not adequate. I added a Niterider Lumina 900 bicycle light to it.
We would always advise buying additional lights for the handlebars. -Vosk
Do you think if a left side mounted mirror you could see behind you without your body blocking the view? Thanks!
The larger mirrors should do the trick!
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Let me ask this can the plug be popped out of the handle grips to add handle bar mirrors or would it have to go directly on handle bars?Thankyou!
One reason this scooter is so good is that it is basically a copy of the Currie F18 scooter that changed the world forever.
Okay so it doesn't have the "600W BMC MAC brushless super torque" motor that woud rip up hills, or the much better front and rear suspension, but it does have big wheels. Bigger in fact than the Currie's 12.5 inch wheels. Bigger wheels are always a good thing.
Like you said these scooters are easy to ride, and the front wheel is not going to fall into the first tiny hole you find.
Bigger battery and motor will be nice for sure, because this scooter is a comfortable ride and you may not want to stop.
Stay tuned for more news on the Flex! -Paul
Do you know anything about the swagtron swagcycle or the okai ae10 pro scooter if there any good or not?
No we have not tested those! -Vosk
I am so looking forward to a seated scooter with 20+ mile range and 20 plus mph, which is legal on WA State bike trails. I have riden a Gotrax XR Elite for 3 years with lots of use and it is still sturdy and dependable. Shout out to Gotrax.
Awesome! Thanks for stopping by. -Vosk
Hi, I just bought that online couples days ago, it’s arriving today and I’m so excited for it. I’m 6 feet tall, with long legs, do you think it’ll be a good fit for my height?
Hope you enjoy it!
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Thanks!
Get a Jetson Bolt Pro for about $350 at Costco. Weighs a little more but about the same size folded, but much easier to carry (even 1 hand due to the handle in the middle). I can carry it over large boulders, downed tree bridges, etc. on hiking trails not meant for bikes. 13-14mph (18-19 with the hack). Farther range when you peddle assist; and can still ride it like a reg. bike when out of battery. Going up very, very steep hills is also possible with PAS while this scooter, you won't be able to (or maybe you can do the kick scooter thing).
Very cool! Thanks for sharing. -Vosk
I just got 2 gotrax flex ultras. I can not find any review videos on the ultra model. I would love to see you do one. The differences between the flex and flex ultra should justify a separate video. The Ultra has bigger battery, motor, speedometer, and dual suspension. Thank you for your work
Per the gotrax website the Flex has a max rider weight of 220. What type of safety aspects lose integrity when exceeding it like shown in the video?
Exceeding by how much ?
I wouldn't know that. It's your rider and whatever weight is added to the basket. Your question raises another in how much weight can be exceeded before it's dangerous.
What are your plans for the Roadrunner Pro?
We are currently testing it! Full Review should be released very shortly. -Vosk
Gotrax flex ultra 20 mph 500 w 750 w peak motor and rear and front suspension. I need to know how you think this will affect it's abilities to traverse hills and pass the rent a scooters? Ps I live in SF
Depends on the hills. If the slope is not to bad should be okay.
Curious if you’ve reviewed the Soumye 48V 500w 12AH/Sohoo 48V 500W 13AH seated scooters and how they compare to this one.
We have not reviewed that one!
Any chances you will. Considering it for Christmas in comparison to this one. Thanks.
Great design for delivery/shopping/errands especially the 14/16in tires which all scooters should come with due to flats IMO. But, it needs minimum 42v, 800w and 20ah battery or swappable battery.
Totally agree! Thanks for stopping by. -Vosk
they can always do a duel motor like another 350 in the front which I read they're geared hubs with a bigger battery and controller Wud be dope.
I LOVE MY GT FLEX...OUTSTANDING POWER & SPEED 🔥🔥🔥
Awesome! Enjoy your new ride.
I still can start my Flex. It says pedal on the manual but can't see where that is.
Since gotrax new pro is going to have a bigger battery does this mean it will be able to take hills better?Thankyou!
Possibly slightly!
who knows? they don't publish the torque rating on their motors.
Hi ,very interested in getting this one ,only need it to ride around the house, park for about 20 minutes a day ,what would you suggest
Yes that should be fine for your needs. -Vosk
I think this would be good for me in Florida
Where can we buy replacement parts? Especially the brake pads? Gotrax doesn't have it on their site.
Try to email their CS!
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide It's something I recommend to be part of the review. Parts are important especially the consumables like brakes and tires. How well a company respond to these low value inquiries for parts should also be included in the review. Thanks
I have a seated scooter on the way but it's a roadrunner pro I need power speed range and dual suspension
That’s awesome! Enjoy your new ride. -Vosk
Will you guys be testing the full suspension 500W version ?
Nothing planned as of now!
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide thanks
Hi, can you show us "how to remove the speed limiter on (Dualtron City)?"
We do not have the dualtron city! -Vosk
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide That's fine. When you have (Dualtron City), please make a new video🙏🙏
You didn't mention the max Rider weight that the scooter can handle or the maximum distance the scooter can go if the person is at the maximum weight limit, I know from other videos that all scooters are tested with 150 lb person on a flat surface at the lowest speed and that's how they get the maximum distance
We only test with our 165lb test rider weight to consistent. The rider max weight is 220lbs. -Vosk
Do you know how well the tires would do on a packed dirt rail trail?
We have not tested it on dirt trails!
packed dirt it does well. loose dirt, forget it.
I have never rode a e scooter before but i am being told that these are hard to balance and hard to make turns do you find that to be the case?Thankyou!
It takes practice but not for long! -Vosk
wrong. the flex scooter is amazingly well balanced and very nimble.
@@mrbubetube Do you know when there campus pro will be released for purchasing? Thanks!
I ran over a nail by accident deflating the back tire. Do you know how to remove the tire?

are you aware of any Gotrax batteries exploding or catching on fire? I would love this scooter, but I have a fear of the lithium batteries being stored in my house in the winter. As long as they are unplugged when not charging, are they generally safe?
We are unaware of any issues with gotrax batteries. The fires are usually low quality China brand batteries on unbranded e-bikes.
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide ok, ty!
I never heard of a single battery problem with GOTRAX scooters

@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide sad
The flex on Amazon says it has a 400w motor. I'm not talking about the ultra model either. I wander what it really has?
The spec on gotrax site should be correct!
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide there actually isnt a spec on the site. Its says 350 to 500w
@@Supasilvakilla
The Gotrax site isn’t very clear. What I’m seeing is 350/350/500W, referring to the Flex, the Campus and Campus Pro (the Campus and Campus Pro versions didn’t exist at the time of our review).
The weird thing about motor-watt specs is that they mean almost nothing.
I dug into the database just now and plotted the hill climb time of the Flex and compared it with other scooters from 250w to 500w.
The crazy thing is there is almost no correlation between spec watts and hill climb time when I graph this range. Many 250W scooters beat many 350W scooters up the hill. Looking at the data, the performance of the base model Flex is much more like a 250W scooter.
It’s so fun being the only scooter channel in the world that has this data. :-) -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Right on thanks for all of the info and great video. Cheers!
should i get this or the emove roadrunner ?

Should be on the website specs

is it a lie that it reaches 20mph without any hesitation??
