I’m excited to see them expanding into dual motor scooters and e-bikes. I feel like they are stepping up their service all around, now that the products have gone higher end. But they aren’t taking away the entry level stuff either, which is nice. They still have the GXL V2! -Paul

I have the gx3 and just hit 300 miles. I ride in Denver Co where I can easily go uphill in 3-4" of fresh snow. The salt and mud buildup makes me have to clean it more. You don't realize how much of a BEAST that thing is until you see it in person. Suspension has been great for me and very easy to adjust. It is just very difficult to pick up if you need to, probably too big for a bus to let you bring it on board if needed. I have to lock it outside for a lot of places. It is kind of difficult to lock up. I recommend a big u-lock with a cable wire. I need to adjust my breaks probably because of mud and salt but other than that I love mine. Now the GX3 doesn't have the underglow, but I just added stick on skateboard underglow twist lights from Amazon. I find the built in turning signal super handy for when I'm on a street without bike lanes
I picked up a gotrax about 3 years ago and have been very happy with it. Looks like they've really improved their lineup while keeping the quality. Awesome review.

Good to see a follow up review on a pretty popular brand. Want to keep seeing brands push each other to offer “standard” features much like standard safety offerings and phone media support like with most cars today, while finding ways to keep out of pockets costs low

Great to see some full suspension scooters with long warranty from gotrax!
I have been watching for around a year or 2 and I really want a scooter but haven't been able to get one yet but you help me have an idea of what features id be looking for when I do finally get one!
I did recently purchase the GX2 thanks to the help of your initial reviews of them. Almost everything still stands true with the features and speeds. It seems they discontinued the usb charging port under the control panel with mine still having the labeled flap, but void space under filled with glue. Still an amazing scooter regardless, I love it.

When he talked about accidental throttle input all of a sudden my Hiboy Max Pro (very good scooter, super reliable for me and very well built) input lag only when going over large bumps makes sense now, its a software solution to avoid accidental throttle over bumps. Man the more I watch these videos about other scooters features, the happier I get with my Max Pro because it has lots of quality of life features that can go missed unless you realize how many scooters dont have these features.
That 40 mile range on the GX2 is nice - really makes it a local commuting machine. Everything else seems to indicate incremental improvements.

Well ive been subscribed to both Electric Scooter Guide and Rider Guide and even got to meet, Paul, Ramier, Mitchell and even Mr. Vosk him self at rider fest 2023 though it was for a brief moment because he was super busy with making sure the even went smoothly which i think it did i stayed till 8pm that night. It really seems like Go-trax is the go to starter scooter. My dad recently has gotten one and has been in love with them.

I was looking at these when I was scooter shopping. I like the GX2 best. I also like the Apollo's too. There are so many to choose from, I can end up spending hours online checking out the various brands. For my first e-scooter I got the HiBoy S2R Pro at a very good price and frankly it's a kick. I like it but already looking to upgrade.
Both are excellent options!
I currently own a kqi1 pro and just ordered the ausom leopard. Depending how the ausom leopard does in my super flat town i may eventually uograde to a dual motor. I dont go offroading and dont plan on it. I just need something decent that wont break the bank. If i need dual motors ill return my leopard and get the gallop or maybe a mantis king.... i want to atleast hit 25 to 30mph not 15.5 lol i use mine for work and the store. Lost my license a few years ago and it beats walking or peddling 🤷♂️

Enjoy your review and I’m a fan of the 6 - 12 month post purchase review. The aspect of maintenance and ease of spare parts is essential for those new to the scooter world. On a side note, you guys should review the PUNK Rider Pro which is a very polarizing scooter, but is similar in price and performance.
