I love everything about the Emove Roadrunner Pro, EXCEPT for the size and weight are not closer to the Roadrunner Tronic... and the handlebars do NOT fold down like the original Emove Roadrunner. Change those things, and you have created the close to PERFECT machine! How many agree with me?
I want one so bad. Perfect city ride.
The LG M50LT cells aren't the "best available", the Samsung 21700 50S cells are rated for twice the current output and the same capacity.
You guys need to test the Victor Luxury+! It has slightly higher power controllers at 32amps x2 instead of 30amps, longer deck, longer handlebars (both by 60mm), bigger battery (35ah), Nutt brakes, turn signals, horn and headlight. Also the 72V Bluetran lightning...
Looks like the video presenter is testosterone deficient, ...he has female leg shape
The link shows a site, but not the scooter. It's just the C.S., Shipping, Financing, and service claims. Nothing else. The "Home" page of the site lists various models, but is otherwise blank. Site issue?
This has got to be the best deal out right now, for a fully built, high performance PEV. Excellent review, and comparisons.
It’s an excellent deal for sure! -Vosk
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide 1800 wh battery and 1400 is ok. At least it is under 1000 per kWh. Would be a fair price under 500 per kWH. Automotive has been producing batteries for less than 100 per kWh for a while now, and a lot of electric cars are under 500 per kWh. Even the Hummer EV
@@nameberry220acting like weight not an issue is hilarious
Paul is the greatest of all time presenter, always finds an insightful angle to review a scooter.
Wow! Thanks so much for the kind words.
Bigger wheels sounds a must for high speeds.
Yep much bigger than 14" IMHO
16" would've been perfect imo, wouldn't be much bigger or add much weight compared to 14" but should be heaps more stable
10 inch scooter tires surprisingly stable even hitting manhole covers
Theyre targeted audience has the skill & control to ride it trust me they're customer base is gonna do just fine on those things
Nicely informative. I also appreciate the comparisons to the previous iterations.
Glad you like them! Vosk

Very well put together video. Quality on this channel is at an all time high for sure
This thing is friggin AMAZING!!! If I only had a garage to keep it in (the battery would most definitely be kept indoors),...ugh! Excellent review, as always.
Thank you so much! I seriously wish I had more time to ride it. It's very rare that at the end of the range test I'm like "awwww.... no more?"

@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide I've been sub'd since day 1!!! You guys are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Good choice! Use code VORODELIVERY for $50 off
Fantastic review, Paul! The amount of detail you guys put into every review is amazing and the comparisons + pros and cons give us a good idea of what options are on the market.
I was planning to get a Segway GT2 this summer, but it’s so expensive that now I’m wondering if the RoadRunner Pro would be a better choice.
Thank you so much! That's a tough one. At full retail of $4k for the GT2 (Segway Store) I'd definitely go for the RoadRunner Pro. On the other hand, we've got a link to GT2's for $3,499 (geni.us/SegwayGT2) and at that price point it becomes a more difficult choice. The RR Pro is much faster, but the GT2 is quicker off the line. The RR Pro I could ride all day, but the GT2 is also pretty good (though not as good) for long rides. The RR Pro could be easily modded, the GT2 definitely not. Weight is the same to within a pound, and range is the same to within 1 mile, but I was riding a faster on the RoadRunner during the range test. Hard to go wrong with either one. -Paul
apologies- link was wrong. Fixed now!
@RiderGuide Escooter riding time is very limited by standing on it.Gets tiring much quicker.😢.
Extremely detailed review that highlights the nice touches that this brings!

@@shanew7361 I returned mine as it had faulty issues. Rear motor would randomly shut off. Assuming you get one that isn't faulty, it was great, all you need to do to it is add better rear shocks.
I added a seat to my Wolf King gt and it is pretty amazing.
Imagine riding this on the bike lane at night in nyc and the Cars are turning left...
It will have the same visual impact, more-or-less as a motorcycle, as the headlight is about the same size and brightness. But it is 10 or 12 inches lower. -Paul
Stay in your mama's basement then.
Any idea if it would fit in a hatchback? Rear suspension was the main thing I wanted from the roadrunner so this is cool. Wish it could fit a passenger, but I get that the compactness is the point
It fits in the 4Runner fairly easily. The biggest thing about it, is the bars are just sooooo wide. Once I chop 2 inches off of each side, I think it would fit easily into the back of a Subaru Outback. I'm really not sure about something like a VW hatchback though.
It would be really easy to loosen the stem and twist the bars sideways or pop the head of the stem off of the stem, in which case it should fit into the back of the VW through the back with the seats folded down. Voro might know more though. The owner of Voro Motors was the one who clued me in to how much easier it is to load up than a Sur Ron (he has a Sur Ron around for research purposes :-) -Paul
I love having a seat on my DT x2 and the high quality suspension, but this one for the price is a much better option!
Only wish it had more range...
Yes it’s an excellent option for sure! -Vosk

Hello Paul, awesome vid as always. Can you please advise if this can be switched from single to dual motor while riding and if the dash speedometer can be changed from MPH to KMH as I'm from Australia. Thank you.
It can be switched from mph to kmh easily. I haven't checked to see if you need to come to a stop to switch from single to dual motor or the other way around, but I'd recomment always coming to a stop first. It's a quick switch. The other thing you could do is program mode 4 to have very little front motor power. I'm pretty sure you can switch modes (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) while rolling, but can verify that too. -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuideThank you Paul for the information - much appreciated 👍
Great review Paul! I have always liked the Roadrunner and was considering a base one for my wife but she prefers the Inokim Light 2 or E-Twow GT scooters she has available to her. It is much easier to deal with them and bring them into work versus a Roadrunner. I have actually tried that Rion version and it is insane. That along with the Extreme Bull are crazy fun but I still prefer my EUC for all my use cases. There are EUCs now that can ride at 50MPH+ fairly easily and can also sit down on them. I am fine staying in the 40s and having options for road or bike lane cruising around San Francisco.
Thanks so much for your insight! You made me think of something I haven't given any thought to up until now: what's the legal status of EUC's? -Paul
@EScooterGuide I have been told they are legal in California or at worst in a gray area that no one enforces. There are riders with over 7 years of riding them and have never had issues with legality.
@EScooterGuide I also have friends with Surrons, Onyx RCRs and other very fast e-bikes with no problems. The only issues we seem to encounter is on some trails and trying to cross the Golden Gate Bridge on the pedestrian path.
Eucs srent legal acording to dmv rules. 1k watts is maximum motor my euc is 3500watts. Off road there are no rules. If you want to legally ride euc then if you can register it as a motorcycle and pay insurance then you would be street legal. A registerd scokter could only go max 25mph. Eucs now can go over 50mph.
Some storage compartments would be beneficial at that size.
They will be making some add one like that!
My buddy got the base model version, and he hates it. We live in MN, so the road sucks. There isn't a back suspension, so the bumpy roads are extra bumpy. We also ride long distances (more than 30miles) and so if he has to charge, it takes 12 hours to fully charge. I'm glad they put extra suspension on for the back but I didn't see anything mentioning about the battery recharge. I hoped they fixed that. My buddy did consider getting the Roadrunner Pro when it was announced, but now he choose not to.
Thanks for the feedback!
I have the road runner and I love it. My next goal is to buy the Road Runner pro it seem to have everything that you could ask for on a top speed scooter. Are you guy in the bay area and if so would you be able to set up any test drives for the pro in the future? With Voro located in LA it'd be cool to check it out in person.
Voro does test rides! We do not

Do you only buy used scooters?
I need some help/ advice deciding between the Roadrunner pro and a Wolf King GT pro
I ordered a roadrunner pro for local transportation and to do some doordash deliveries, but I'm wondering if I made the wrong choice.
I'm 6'7 265,
The rrp is cheap and I feel like it makes more sense to sit if I'm going to be doing deliveries, but it's pretty small.
The wolf king is more expensive, and the tires are smaller, but it's up higher, there are few seat attachments, and
Tanakorn is making a swing arm to add larger wheels.
Any advice or anecdotes are appropriated
You can get a wolf king GT and get a seat for it. You can use code RIDERGUIDE for $50 off! The wolf will be better for your height
Amazing review, looks like a great scooter
Wow thanks so much for the nice words! -Vosk
You're my favorite electric scooter reviewer!
Wow! Thanks so much for the kind words.
I'm sitting at 6'2, I currently own an apollo ghost, I'm considering getting the EMOVE RoadRunner pro for the dual motors, and seated position, but I'm worried the size of it wouldn't work. I saw on your website it was tall/big rider approved. Im just wondering if I'm 6'2 would I have any issues or discomfortes riding this daily?
I think you'd be fine. Ramier, the big guy in the video, is 6'3" if I'm not mistaken. You'll end up sitting a little further back, so you'll have a little more wheel-spin at the front wheel, but you can set the current to the front wheel lower if it's a problem. You could probably make some room by putting another set of footpegs further forward. -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide im 6’5 250 if you guys ever need a tall person to test scooters 😇
I think this is what I’ve been looking for. I really don’t want pedals. Thanks!
Nice! For me it feels way better than pedals, but I've spent a lot of time on conventional motorbikes. -Paul
would like more range. I have a NAMI2Mx I use for gig work and even that could use more range even though I can ride my whole shift If I stay in Eco for most of the time which is fine for my area. No need to go over 30mph in just about every delivery situation.
This looks like a fun little runabout though and something good for running errands.
Thanks for sharing! Stay Safe. -Vosk
Love the scooter, but is it safe if you hit a pothole? Like that it has a seat as this will make it more stable, but are the wheels large enough? Would be happy if they are more or less the same size as the ones on Vespa
Gotta always stay alert!
What about the accessories for this roadrunner? And just like everything that drives where can I take to get fixed?
They will have more accessories shortly!
Best seated scooter ever.
We agree!
I don't have one, but I was in a forum where the some of the people involved in development were active. I had been unhappy with my V1 Roadrunner (base model) but have been impressed with how they are moving forward and listening to their customer base and asking questions... I've seen oit first hand. I would recommend the Pro, but I also see some people have already had some issues. I think that may just be the way it is in the scooter world with first runs? I can't imagine getting a Segway and having issues out of the box. Anyway, this is phenomenal engineering, as long as the parts are good...
Cool! Thanks for sharing. Stay Safe. -Vosk
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide ^^To be clear to anyone about my above statements... people tend to make it a point to complain about issues with something they've spent thousands of dollars on, even with minor issues. So, I'm not bashing the Pro model or OG Roadrunner... just saying I am learning that sometimes there can be issues in first production to be worked out... the scooter world isn't as fine tuned and long-term established as, say, the automobile or motorcycle industry... and there is SO MUCH out there. Look hard, no matter who's making what you're looking at! Look at the specific model and everything... who makes the cells in the battery!? Really do your homework... buy once, cry once.
Also - after several months of adjustments and replacing a few tings, I made the OG Roadrunner a fun little scooter. People ask about it all the time...
Most first escooters & other e-vehicles are just a FN BETA MODELS FOR GUINEA PIGS.....😮😢.🤑👎👎.
Later comes the better version.😊
Looks nice . I got an euc for work, which is only a mile and a half away. In England, everything is illegal. Does this need a licence?
Depends on your locality! -Vosk
I saw Ramier on it, but is it big dog approved? Especially on hills?
Yes for sure! It’s a beast.
This one might be my option when my Vsett 10 has given up or I feel it's time to change. It looks like it bigger than a scooter but smaller than a bicycle so it could fit in a apartment and not take up too much space which was one thing when I decided to buy a scooter.
Wonder if this is suitable for using all year with nordic weather? Thinking about "light rain" protection although my Vsett 10 has so far not had any issues from both heavy snow and rain and been used all year. So maybe some light mods with silicone could improve water resistance idk just guessing at the moment.
Great choice and light rain should be ok! -Vosk
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Sounds great! 👍 Will be interesting to see and hear more about it when more people have got their bikes.
Since you mention SF Bay Area, do you know if BART would allow this on their trains? For example, you live in Walnut Creek, then work in SF and you need to ride this between commutes.
That's a great question. We're really close to one of the BART stations in Oakland, but I never get to ride BART because I'm always hauling my boys to school and back. I've seen people bring Wolf King's on BART and to me this isn't much different. Technically I'll bet it's not allowed, but it's visual impact is so small, it would probably pass on weekends. -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Ive seen big escooters inside a BART train. However, Ive also seen one with a Gateway Presidio got stopped by the booth agent as he was trying to bring his inside Glen Park station.
Do you think i should get this or wait for a v2?
Also, is this more stable than a kaabo dual stem at higher speeds?
The seated is always more stable then a standing scooter so the sitting one is more stable! You can grab $50 off each one with code RIDERGUIDE50

So what would be the advantages and disadvantages between something like the dualtron ultra 2up vs the evolve pro?
I know the ultra 2up has a 45amp battery and is 72 volts, but maybe sitting down would be more relaxing at times?
The Ultra is one of the few major Dualtrons we haven't fully tested or reviewed. I just got to ride the earlier version a little at CES 2022. For really long rides, it's nice to sit. The stability is pretty nice. I won't ride most scooters one handed and this is certainly the only time I've ever gone one handed at top speed (literally 1 handed even during the 61mph speed run with the wind at my back!).
It's in my top 3 for scooters I'd want to ride all day long (Dualtron X Limited, this and any of the NAMI BURN-E). -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide and where are all the rion scooter reviews, it seems they flew away!!!!! To much hype.
Wow finally someone makes the right scooter. What is the range when riding at speed of 15 to 20mph, as on an empty multi-use pathway? Only problem is the legality issue. Nobody wants to be harassed by cops.
Just a guess, but I'd say close to 40 miles at 20mph on flat ground and probably 45 to 50 at 15mph on flat ground. I covered 32.3 miles riding at speeds of 25 to 30 mph most of the time.
-Paul
This is a upgrade from a ebike ...I think I want one 😍
For sure!
I’m wondering how this compares to an Ariel Rider Grizzly - technically an ebike but similar price, features and weight with better range, maybe better ride quality, bigger tires and overall size, but lower top speed around 35 mph. I love the Grizzly but it’s too big for my car
The torgue , top speed , better range , all much better on this model!
Can you attach cargo racks?
Most likely in the future they will have it! -Vosk
At 8:00 on the video, the display read 93.7 mph! How did you get that fast? Mine topped out at 75 + unweighted, on a lift.
Thanks for the find! Noted. Will correct
Fiido Modded is 6000. It goes 86 mph it take you 70 mile at gear one. But the front suspension on this bike seems to be a lot better than the original Fiido. It seems dope
Wow that is super fast! -Vosk
Important question: Does it have a V.I.N.? If it does need to be registered, and have a plate and such, it will need a vin.
I have been in the market for an E-bike that can go 40+ MPH. But most are just too slow. I would like to commute about 30 miles round trip, on rural paved roads with speed limits from 25 to 45 MPH. My only other option is to drive my big Dodge van with a V-8.
Another question (may have been covered but I missed it) is the range. Can it go 35 to 40 miles at an average of 40 MPH? Wait, Nevermind. I saw it at 16:32 in the video. 50 miles. That is very good, and besides I can plug in and recover some range during the 2 or so hours I spend at my destination.
I looked around while I was doing the performance testing for the video and didn't see one. I'm 90% sure there is no VIN :-(
The specified range is 50 miles, but in my range test (linked below) I covered 32.3 miles before the battery cut off. That was running at speeds of 25 to 35mph. Range falls off quickly as you go faster, so you'd need two batteries (battery swap) to go 35 miles at 40mph. -Paul

@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide
Thank you!
EUC or Electric Unicycles would also fit that use case. My commute is 50mi round trip with top speed of 50 and avg riding speed of 35-45.
I wonder how much a replacement battery would cost because you easily swap them out when one dies and keep riding for the day.
I'm curious about that one too! I don't see it on the Voro site yet. -Paul

It’s a great little bike!
Can you please review the Nanrobot L7+?
It's not in the near-term forecast right now, but comments like this do help influence our priorities, so thanks for letting us know! Others have asked as well. -Paul

Suspension is actually quite good to be honest! -Vosk
wow yeah the price point is nice. thats a great buy. if I was in the market for one id get this. but I just bought an euc
Awesome! Thanks for stopping by. -Vosk
Does it regen? I have a mile run up a 1200ft hill that I ride a dozen times a day.
You won’t get much out of that!
It almost looks like the one. But those pegs still seem like they need to come forward a bit. The price seems right but I'm still not ready to drop that much on a ride I haven't sat on. When I bought a 94 Honda Magna 750 I knew immediately it fit like a glove, the ride for me no compromises. This I'm not so sure. I have VEO's rental seated scooters available and the pegs/foot positioning is perfect even if the seat is all wrong for me. Still waiting for the perfect seated scooter it seems.
Very insightful! Thanks for stopping by. -Vosk
I’d actually like the pegs further back, but I ride a Triumph Street Triple. -Paul

Paul, can you please confirm that if you turn the key to off, are you still able to turn on the display/scooter? I am able to set my key to off, remove the key and still turn on the scooter. I messaged this to Voro and they said this is normal. Thanks.
Totally normal. The key just locks the battery into the scooter physically, there is no circuitry going to or from the key. -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Cool, thanks for confirming.

No mention yet but light rain should be okay
With the seat being as long as it is, can you fit 2 people on it?
2 smaller people might fit! But not recommended
but is it better than and Ariel Grizzly, or a Bandit and UBCO, or a Lyric, or an Astro or a Freego or a Juiced ???
I’ll will destroy any of those e-bikes by a large margin also! -Vosk
if there is an easy way to fit a rear rack for a grocery store run, it would be perfect
They will have accessories shortly!
Do these scooters have VINs? I'm thinking I'd have to insure and register as a moped.
I looked for one when I was writing the review and didn't see one.
So I'm 90% sure it doesn't have VIN. -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Cool, thanks for checking. After google it seems that perhaps you can just use the serial number in place of the VIN? I have no experience with this, however. Interestingly, the RoadRunner would have to be registered as a moped in Canada the RoadRunner Pro would have to be registered as a motorcycle since it's top speed exceeds 70 km/h (80.5 km/h).
Yall hear that beat at the beginning of the video though 🔥🔥🔥props to the DJ doee 💯💯
How come if the battery is bigger, why does the roadrunner got more range than the pro?
Great question! The average speed during the Pro range test was 21.1 vs 19mph. The Pro is also about twice the weight. Another big factor is that it's hard to resist grabbing a big fist-full of throttle when the light turns green. Hard acceleration seems to hurt range a lot and the original Roadrunner's acceleration is unusually soft relative to it's top speed. -Paul
I noticed you said this was definitely an upgrade from a Mantis King GT. I was under the impression that was a very solid modern scooter at that price point -- so my question is, would you consider this better or equal to NAMI BURN-E 2 (not max) or something in that range? When I say better, I mean would you think a lot of people would prefer this to one of those?
If you would like to sit this is better option if you would like to stand go with the Nami! -Vosk
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide if I like sitting and standing equally, what would you say?
The truth I do love standing, but there is a fatigue you get with standing even on the best suspension, design, controller, etc. I also feel like there is an undeniable safety factor that you get with sitting down and 14" tires, I just sorry that the suspension is going to be insufficient (I am 175" so maybe not).
I absolutely love the suspension on the nami when I rode it, the adjustable dampening they use is amazing you can literally feel the difference from just the knob adjustments..
So my question is, if suspension s absolutely critical to be buttery smooth for typical street riding, and I'm a custom to quality hydraulic suspension on both front and back, would this be an issue on the pro?
The real difference is in the cornering. A stand up scooter will never feel as connected to the road and flow through S turns with less skill or effort than the Roadrunner. Not even sitting down on one. The small tires, the weight distribution and body position Just wont allow it. The RRP is comparable to a sport motorcycle, even more so than your typical Ebike because the center of gravity, riding position and the rake. When you lean into a corner on a motorcycle, you are literally as close to being 'one' with the machine as possible. wherever it goes, youre going with it. When you take corners on a stand up scooter, or even in a car! your body (or parts of your body) is noticeably still trying to go in the opposite direction of the machine.
@@son2soaringeagle such a good comment
Love you stuff just quick thing i live here in Connecticut and i read through laws and the seat height being under 26 inches labels this I believe as a “mini-motorcycle” which is not legal for street use
Interesting. I haven't heard of seat height being a specification. The seat height is more than 26 inches on this one. It's 29 inches.

Do you feel safe locking this in SF/Oakland?
For a few minutes! Not for long. -Vosk
I'm not sure anyone would know what to do with it. As Vosk said, I'd feel safe leaving it for a while, especially with the battery removed. I wouldn't leave it over night unless it was inside of an apartment parking garage locked to the bike racks. -Paul
What’s that app that you used to show the angle on the handle bars
Which app are you referring to ?
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide 6:30 he used his phone to check the angle degree
A Scooter with a removeable optional seat is a "Scooter with a Seat" this type of unit is more of a Scrambler without pedals, and I like it.
Awesome! Thanks for stopping by. -Vosk
I'm sure one of your subscribers nearby you own also a Weped you could review. Would be good to see it in this channel.
We are looking for one to review!
That is such a poorly considered brand name. WE PED ??? BRUHHHH I'M GONE🤣🤣🤣
@@will6246 Yeah I guess I didn't think much about the name. I guess its better than the name Hunter gave to his father in his phone...PedoJoe

Yeah cause chuck is gone😢 where did he go?
Chuck still stops by from time to time. He decided to do other things. He wrote a book which should come out soon, and he's teaching at UC Berkeley Extension. I was just texting with him this morning about this video. He says he wants one! -Paul
Newbie here, i see emove roadrunner pro and voro road runner pro!! Whats the deal with this?
Emove is the brand , voro motors is the parent company.
Minimotors better watch out VM is getting big
I am curious why he said he would never ride that fast on ebike. By virtue of the wheel size on a type 20-26" ebike they would be more stable at speed than a scooter with 14" wheels.
I felt comfortable doing this on the RoadRunner Pro because of the geometry, super low center of gravoty ultra-stout frame and brakes. The moment of inertia of the RoadRunner wheels may be as high as an e-bike or higher, because while the diameter is smaller, the rotating mass is larger.
Wheel-wise, I'm comfortable going over 60mph on 11" wheels. (but not one handed! )
Thanks so much for watching and commenting. -Paul
how is this going up steep hills?
It smokes most hills! - Vosk
What do you all think about
Extreme Bull K6
We should be testing that in the future!

Nice review however you didn’t actually state the 0-30 time, which is one of the most important factors for me.
Sorry about that! It's 5.8 seconds from 0 to 30. We'll have it in the database on our site soon. -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Thank you. You guys have the best, most thorough reviews.
It looks so good! Too bad these scooters will most likely never be available here in south america. I would love to see my gf riding one of these 😆
Hoping it will be available soon!
I wish they can do a 16 inch wheel and pedals.
Do you like 16" for more stability, or is there another reason you prefer that size? (tire choice?) -Paul
More stability, and pedals for using In bike paths.
Will the wheels shake like the original one did?
That has been addressed! -Vosk
725 miles on my original roadrunner, never an issue from police, but yes 50mph is going to get attention.
Thanks so much for the feedback! Where are you located? -Paul

Not currently!
That would be amazing. They're such a small outfit that I don't know if they would be able to spare one for us to test. No plan for a review with them at the moment, but comments like this help keep them on our radar! Thanks for reminding us about them! -Paul
I'd honestly be surprised if many people got the "Marsha Marsha Marsha" joke there.
i feel like a lot of these shots are Oakland. you gotta tell use how it handles potholes
Yes we are in Oakland! It is very decent with potholes. Thanks for stopping by. -Vosk
