I KNOW! A TON of you are probably wondering about EMO & Claude 3! Released this prerecorded video because unfortunately I am a bit under the weather today.. Claude 3 will be covered regardless tomorrow! Check my twitter for the latest reposts and info on Claude 3!
I hope you feel better
thanks for the heads up. i was definitely wondering about that. get well bruv
Feel better soon!
bycloud did a livestream, he asked for ascii unicorn both gpt4 and claude 3 and both did same unicorn. Made me think claude 3 is trained on gpt4 data.
too late, I already watched 5 videos on Claude 3 today 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Just imagine how sophisticated telemarketing scams are going to get
especially with the realistic voice
Yeah, but imagine someone doing prompt injection attacks against the LLM doing the scams and getting the LLM to do all sorts of fun things if someone gives it API access on their side for various purposes.
i already got some AI scam calls, so it's already happening!
Be careful!
we have to get ai to scan the calls of the elderly in real time... anti scam ai
Oh I’ve seen some Ai robocaller software ad on Facebook. It wasn’t supposed to be for scams but they were literally selling it on the premise that it will SELL for you. Literally showing examples of how it will actively try and convince people to buy the Vision Pro. It sounded really really good. Even scammers are being replaced
"got it, THANK YOU", 🤨
I want a version of this that also has a AI receive the call, then get two of them to talk to each other.
YES
Imagine someone calling technical support, people raging and cursing their ass out, then human like ai speaks to them calmly, respectfully and professionally adhering to company policies while fixing their issues and the owners just laughing and making high fives in the background. RIP to the technical support industry.
If it’s just accessing documentation or something RIP but the AI tends to having trouble with reasoning. So things where actual problem solving is needed, the AI will struggle.
Is this the humble beginnings of call centres being replaced?
Hopefully, because those are cancer places
nooooooooo my main job
Thank god they added that rule about only doing legal things 😂😂😂
Yes, the rule that NO ONE will EVER break
I feel so much safer after seeing a few lines of red text on a websites.
You know some shady business owners are going to abuse this. "Would you like to add the 1000 burger upgrade for only $30,000 to your large Pepsi order?" I don't imagine it would hold up in court but someone's gonna try it.
They did rule that the chatbot was speaking on behalf of that airline company recently....
I don't know. If you use the chat bot to do your ordering for, you have consented to it making the order for your, so you're probably stuck with the consequences unless it's something really outrageous.
@@borisbalkan707 Yeah, my thinking was that at some point it has to cross the threshold from a potentially legitimate transaction to a blatant scam if there is no justification for the price and no humans are ever even offered the thing but it could be exploited to less cartoonish extremes.
AI knows the score. Fries are always a good choice
"It sounds like a real person that has severe emotional problems" lol. That's classic.
Introverts dream
Hilarious when it seemed to use Batman’s voice to say “No Thank you”.😂
Thank you Matt for another great video!
bro social anxiety makes phone calls nearly impossible for me without excessive amounts of encouragement. i would get so much more real-world stuff done with something like this, but your examples got me realizing i could also use it to get more practice calling on the phone :) got it, THANK YOU!
For people with speech or hearing impairment, this will be a life changing experience
I was just going to write something like that. I'm blind and the way AI is helping the disabled is amazing!
"THANK YOU!!"
This tech is tantalizingly close to useful. Just want to get to the point where an AI can take care of my time-tax chores, like calling Xfinity, scheduling dr appointments, and doing my taxes.
We are getting sooooo close.
Yeah, I don't like inaudible juice fountains either. Smart choice.
Get the audible juice fountains or go home….agreed
That lemon statue purchase seemed so threatening.
Literally T-800 buying a lemon statue. 🤖🍋
"thank youuu.." was my favorite 😂
its amazing by the way , like the way it can call and talk automatically is amazing
It should have told the business to "hold while I check on that detail" Then ping the user about the question, instead of assuming.
Wait till Ferris Bueller gets ahold of this thing!
Great spam calls are going to be insane
Just imagine the fun can have messing with its call lol

@@apache937 Absolute genius

This will be great for making appointments, but it's not there yet. The voice sounds a bit crazy and it would be embarrassing to read the transcript after it made a call for you, lol. But in a year or two, this thing is going to be awesome.
Hey Matt, Just dopping you a quick note. Thank you very much for your first application scenario, someone who is mute! I lost my voice 10 years ago to a neurological disorder which robbed me of my voice and career I loved! I used to be a technical trainer and being paid bucks! AND I LOVED IT! That is all gone now. So I have to rely on my brother and my ex to make calls for me and yes hen they get the kinks ironed out, I will definitely be their first customer. To use your words, it would be a God sens! Thanks again!
I'm sure someone looking to use it for illegal activities would be deterred by that disclaimer 😂
Using the phone in a language you don't speak well can be very stressful. Maybe this could make those calls for you, make it easier on both parties.
Now that is useful. When it can call, using my prompt and speak another language, and then translate it back to English, that would be my dream… So cool.
OMG, DIDN’T EVEN THINK ABOUT THIS USE CASE!!!
I think it's a great idea, ONCE it's paired up with your Siri, or whatever assistant you use. If you're driving and decide, hey, let's order take out. Imagine if you could just say "Siri, Order a medium cheese pizza, a large Coke, and an order of chicken wings from Papa Johns." and it says "Okay, what flavor do you want the wings? Do you mean the Papa Johns on ___ street?" You say "Honey Garlic.. and yes that location." It makes the call, and at some point they ask it a question it doesn't know the answer to "do you want to get a second Coke for just 2 dollars?" so it tells the store employee: "Hang on a second, I'll check." Then it asks you "Do you want a second coke for 2 dollars more?" "No, just the one coke." "okay." It confirms with the store, gets your expected pickup time. "Do you want to pick up in 30 minutes?" "Could you actually get that delivered?" "Okay, to your home at ____?" "Yes"...
I mean, obviously I went into some detail, but this seems TOTALLY possible!
Great rundown. Love the phone call feature, it works!
The prank phone call potential with this is huge. Jerky Boys 10.0❗
You just gotta figure out how to get people to answer the phone.
Claude 3 is here
I remember Google making a presentation about a future product like this, like, some years ago or something.
@mattvidpro there's an uncensored number around 10:35 mark in the video. Not sure if it's supposed to be there, just making sure it doesn't leak your number or your friends number.
MattVidPro AI pizza restaurant? Yes please! Are lemon toppings free?
I can see many legal uses for this. I have bad anxiety around telephones, so I would definitely use something like this.🇦🇺❤️
Companies with dollar signs in their eyes. --picks up phone and realizes AI-- "Certainly sir and you called in before and agreed that you wanted 1,000 extra large pizzas and told me to tell you that the order is already placed, did you need anything else?" --Nope thats everything-- ++$3,000
When I get a robo call, and I realize the believable voice isn't an actual person, I ask if it's a bot. Generally it will answer vaguely: "I assure you I am a real person; I'm going through a computer for quality control."
"I understand," I reply. "So you're able to say 'I am not a robot,' right?"
The bot will prevaricate, avoiding my question. I reiterate: "I need you to _say the words,_ 'I am not a robot'."
As saying that specifically, and would be a(n unlawful) lie, the bot always hangs up.
I'll take, "Things that never happened" for 500.
GOT IT
THANK YOU
The latency is so low for the quality of the speech. I love it.
Looked to me like he had cut in between him asking and its responses, but maybe I’m wrong
Like Matt said people with social anxiety.... calling a specific person to either tell them some bad news, ask them to reschedule an appointment, MAYBE to call in sick for work.
So at a minimum investment of $10 at a time (most expensive way to pre-pay), $0.75 per call.
Too expensive to use for being lazy, but if something is really going to be stressful, 75 cents to not have to deal with it could definitely be worth it, especially if this phone call would only occur once a month or less frequent.
Just make sure you get all the details and answers to all the questions before you have it call.
If you manage your anxiety this way, it's going to get worse. I say that even though I might be the type of person who would use it, having both some level of social anxiety. To explain how much I have that issue, due to the fact I'm admitting my potential hypocrisy here. I never liked parties or crowds, and my wife is my only friend that I talk to on a regular basis, so it's not great. I strangely do fine talking at work, because I have to and because I'm opinionated, as you can tell, but if there was anything I said that could be misunderstood or I felt like maybe people would think I was bad in some way I stress about it for minutes after.
I'd probably only recommend this if you have a particular party who is actively toxic but that you can't disconnect yourself from and could approach this way. Kind of a rare set of things. Anyhow, definitely think about whether you really want to make yourself worse before going down the road of avoidance.
The last thing people with anxiety should do is this. But they will.
It will be a strategy to avoid uncomfortable situations…. breaking up is hard to do.
😅
@@CM-zl2jw If the anxiety is paralyzing to the point that the option is, "use ai" or "just avoid and pay the consequences", which may be really bad, so it may be worth it.
Practicing overcoming anxiety is an important part of the process, but
This may also be good for high-pressure salesmen, where the AI could stand it's ground no matter what, whereas a person may cave in under the pressure.
Also, excessive amounts of stress is unhealthy. Stress can be strong enough to kill mice and rats overnight in a trapped container.
Maybe the AI could be used and the chat logged and the person could review the log and see how it dealt with questions or show that maybe the fear of specific questions being asked or accusation being made, were not done, which can build confidence.
@@FusionDeveloper good points. There are some excellent use cases for this technology. I can see that. I love AI and when it’s used for good, I’m all in!
@@FusionDeveloper I do like the idea for the salesman type. I end up talking the ear off those people and they don't even get the sale in most cases, I waste their time and mine because I have no idea how to get them to understand my "no" because they only accept very firm forms of it.
I've even tried to warn some of them, but they didn't listen, not their nature.
It's also true if you put in the right review process so the person could see the conversation, you could maybe make it beneficial as a way to train them
Hello, this is the IRS, calling you about your cars extended warranty
I’ve used the phone call one to prank my friend and it did pretty well. I wish it wouldn’t give itself up as an AI so easily though
I think it’s a good thing… The AI should be guilt ridden like the rest of us 😂
@@CM-zl2jw the one was the English old man and he was creeping all quiet on the line lol. Then when my friend said “you didn’t hang up” and the AI’s response was ohhh hi yes I’m still here is there anything I can assist you with?”
Another time I had a place called stinky shit stains call and he said he crapped his underwear and the AI said “so you’re sayin you don’t have any clean drawers?” Lol
@@maxlightning4288😂👏
AI is moving so incredibly quickly. I keep getting amazed by every new thing that gets released.
Dude that thing needs a lot of work before its any good. "THANK YOU!!!!" lol
7:16 "I don't require any extra items LIKE AN INAUDIBLE JUICE FOUNTAIN?" sounded so passive aggressive haha
I'm sure it will trick a lot of older non-tech-savvy people, but for the rest of us? Not so much. Then again, give it a year and even the rest of us may be fooled!
this reminds me when google release the ability to call people via AI years ago like someone asked to get booked into an hair salon to get a quick trim and it did really well
Swatting was never easier
GOT IT!! THANK YOU!! I'll come by for pickup soon 😂
this is actually so cool
Super funny honestly. Thanks for sharing!
This is Cool Matt! Thank you 🔥🔥🙏🔥🔥
4:21 that response 😂😂😂
If it could answer and screen calls from unknown numbers that would be awesome. That would drive telemarketers insane.
THANK YOU!!
I could see myself using this for times when I'm too busy to make phone calls.
how fast respond is ? i recognised its cut
lol...THANK YOU! This was so funny, I haven't laughed about AI this hard since Will and Spaghetti. This is scary. AI, by law, will have to tell us they are AI at the start of all calls. My two cents is that is way too expensive. Are we paying for data centers here? How much compute are they looking to cover monthly, what is the profit margin...heck I don't know about that stuff, I just know if FEELS too expensive. At least for personal use. It's pretty buggy for that price. The emotions are far too all over the place to not make every single call weird for the person receiving the call.
Hi Matt. FYI... Now calls cost 458 credits per minute and the credits expire. I was not able to make a single proper phone call from it. It calls the people and say "how can I help you?" The person on the other side gets confused... well, you called me.
Thank God man. I own a life insurance agency and I buy 300 leads a day. This is going to save my life. Going to only make this to qualify people who already wanted the information.
Nice, where do you get your leads?
😂. Bravo. This is hilarious and potentially really useful.
Wow 🤯. Love it and I’m excited for this option and freedom gpt. Thanks for sharing this info Matt.
Is it available globally?
Thanks for the great video! And it was also hilarious!
In some parts he sounds like the Scream phone voice haha 06:34
thankYOU!!!!
😅😅 i loved the “THANK YOU!!”
Hi, is this possible for AI to response while on call we tell what AI TO SAY on the call? so instead of us answering the call , we will answer by a system responding to customer.
Sounded like KITT from Knight Rider 😂
Bro, there’s a new Claude bot, Claude 3!
What about latency. I've kinda fixed that with something I've built.
What did you build? Can you share some details about it?
This would be great for polling.
Great progress
If i engage a phone gpt who gets sued if the phonegpt makes an error?
AI getting back to you with call debrief would be nice
No negative prompts?
wow this could become very useful for someone like me i have a speach impedement lol . amazing.
I was having a doubt because its a sponsor but I was wrong, this is actually amazing tech
Am waiting for your takes on Claude 3 hakiku and opus...
Wild wild stuff
How can I use AI to add subtitles in my videos?
Woah PRANKS are gonna lit 😂😂😂😂🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Maybe Matt addresses this in the video I’m not sure as I’m only 4 mins in, but there’s clear cuts between response times suggesting the ai takes an unnatural time to process and respond to the users voice which then makes it apparent that you’re talking to ai and at that point the user / customer might just hang up
lol 1000 IQ application with this tool; Train is with your own voice, have it call and ask out your crush on your behalf
If it always has these emotional outbursts, I don't think this would end that well 😅
@@missoats8731 😂😂🤣 Worst case scenario, your AI helper agent becomes attached
This is basically illegal to use in the US i guess since a law was passed to ban AI calls
Google has an automated system that screens calls for me it has a conversation with the person to figure out if they are legitimate.
👏👍 Very nice demonstration! Thanks...
That's very cool. I can think of a billion ways to use that.
reminds me of a how a robot would sound from an 80's tv show '')
Edit: Oh wow he said everything in my comment at the end of the video 😆
This could be amazing for disabled people or people with severe anxiety or speech disorders
I am SO going to stitch my mate up with this :) LOL
"GOT IT" 💀
I have ALS and lost my voice due to the disease. I have not been able to make a phone call in ten years. Does it have a voice in Spanish ?
Huh. Actually pretty good!
How long before there’s automated social engineering bots - there probably are some already, but I can only see them getting more passable/effective.
I haven't been able to get it to make the call...
Hey. No issues. I bought some credits due to the review and I can tell you that it is a lot less smart than what you showned. The main issue, it calls and says "How can I help you?"... the heck... you called me and ask how I can help?
Cheers.
Just to be clear in an enterprise setting there is no way on this earth I would let that loose with my business or organisation. Secondly having a disclaimer saying don't do illegal things is like saying don't use phones to make scam calls.. a disclaimer means nothing how do they know you're using it such a way!
Mathew Mathew Mathew. The elephant in the room is all the appalling uses bad people can make of this technology. What a nightmare!
Absolutely useful 👍

Is there an AI which is dealing with Bitcoin (digital currency) yet?
i bet the Wall Street uses AI as well!
Every week there are some new exciting developments!
( edit 5:39 that's what she said LOL)
Google tried something like this in 2019 andbit never came out
It did come out. It's built into their Pixel phones.
