I ordered the skirts and door guards from Kandy and Chrome www.kandynchrome.com/collections/redcat-64 I just taped the skirts in myself But I dont know who you could pay to do it for you. Check around on instagram you might be able to find someone 👍
I don’t know who you are. I’m just getting on the scene with these low riders but you’re so right it’s just a hobby everybody wants to hide from other people what they’re doing or how they do it so easy to teach too, but other people understand so they don’t waste your money on buying things that they don’t need. Big up to you, bro I got my 1080 and put it in. I programmed it just like you said and it works beautifully. I had one slight problem. I figured it out when I gave a full throttle of the car at like it didn’t want to move forward so I went back over your settings and everything is fine thank you very much for the tip GOD BLESS!

Ok cool yeah I noticed in your video. You forgot to say push save after every number also something funny with mine. I set my number four item to yours, and it was running Hella.slow but I remembered you said you had a lot of weight which I don’t I would give it full throttle away would barely go anywhere so now I bumped it up to number nine I believe which is 16% I just installed my second one in my droptop guero edition👍🏾😎
That might be your throttle setting on the remote or throttle trim on the remote

I just replied on your other comment But the new 1080 has 8.4 bec installed so you just gotta program it to 8.4 volts and you will be good.

My bad will the stock servos handle 8.4? If not, I’ll just keep it at 7.4.
Thats why i like the external bec with the holmes hobby splitter i added cause im only getting 8.4 to the front
I had 8.4 all around and it would make the rear twitch every now n then. Also program the stock reefs to 100% cause it is programmable and its only at 80% out the box

Hey bro, I have a question. I’m getting ready to put in lights in a 64 Lowrider but I have an engine sound module taking up channel 2 so how do I infuse both to use channel 2? The lights have a Y connector as well as the sound modual Thanks! PS hopefully without splicing anything

Sorry Im not sure how that would work I thinl the engine sound connects to your esc
If you live close to a HobbyTown they can help you with that wiring and splitters and how to configure it.
But you shouldnt have to splice anything Just use the splitters.
I figured it out. The light kit comes with two connectors one that goes into the light module in the car and one that goes to channel 2 so all I have to do is take channel 2 out and put it into the Y connector that comes with the light kit this the ESC is connected to the motor sound module and the light kit thanks for responding to me, though I appreciate it

Can I just get the 1080 esc and not change anything else? I was under the impression that just changing the ESC. Would help but you have a new BEC and all this other stuff going on. I am new to this.
You will be good with the new 1080 It comes with 8.4v bec Just program the BEC on the 1080 to 8.4 volts and youre good to go
Can I use a 3s lipo on a stock 64 without burning anything up?

How did you install your skirts and where did you get your gold antennas from?
I just used gorilla tape from the inside and the antennas i just searched for Redcat Lowrider Gold on ebay and they popped up

Hey bro, got a question. I was watching another video about the 1080. and they said turn the transmitter on so I’m wondering if you had the transmitter turned on when you program yours or did you have it turned off and does it make a difference? Thanks
You can do it either way and see it wont make a difference Its just a prefference
Ive tried both and didnt notice a difference. Just make sure you dont forget to hit ok button after each item to have it saved
Then after im done i unplug everything and plug everything and double check that it saved all my settings
I’m going to put the 1080 esc in my Monte. Can I get away with using the same settings you used for the 64? Obviously, I know I need to change a couple but for the most part do you think I can get away with it? Also, where do you get your windshield banners from? Thanks!
You can try it but the Monte is set up with 4 servos and its set up to be a dancer but you can hop it. The Dream On decal I got it from dream on on instagram when I bought some stuff from him

What did u need to do for that battery cuz there 2 connecters and the original battery only has one new to the rc world got the monte carlo
When i got the hobbywing and added the BEC i changed out my battery plug to a deans plug since you have to soder the bec into your power supply
Im not using the original battery its weak
Theres only one connector on the battery for power, the lil connector is a balance plug thats used for charging the battery if thats what youre asking
