Breaking News! HYBRID Cars in War with EVs in the United States
The Western world is pushing for cities with fewer cars, urban anti-pollution restrictions, and a ban in the air on the sale of vehicles with combustion engines in 2035. It all sounds ridiculous but it’s true. "So, one no longer knows what to buy", is commonly heard when talking about cars with friends or family. However, on this channel, we see it differently: "You could never buy so much variety." Unlike years ago, when the doubts were whether to buy a diesel or gasoline car, now we can choose between these two types of fuels and, at the same time, opt for hybrids (plug-in or not) and electric ones.
Hybrids are getting popular, and have entered a war with the electric. If we have decided that we want to buy a car, suppose we are looking for an electrified car even if it is the minimum to receive the ECO label. My advice is to opt for this option because, at least for now, restrictions in urban areas are being defined by environmental labelling and an ECO sticker will always be better than a C.

Electric cars are not zero emission when powered by coal or natural gas.

Hybrids, worst of both worlds,go full EV or stay with ICE.
If the myth of EV fires worry you, then bear in mind that hybrids statiscally are the worst having all the risks of an ICE and an EV. However car fires of any variety are very rare.

Plug in Hybrids are ICE cars by definition and also carry an electric motor and a battery making them dirtier than ice cars because most people do not plug them in.

Anybody with a outlet into garage can charge their PHEV full overnight.
It would literally save them over $1000/yr on gas if they commute on batteries alone.
People tend to be financially driven. No one is stupid enough to not charge their car
      Please.
Same token, people forget to charge their EVs too? 😂😂😂🤡🤡🤡

@@RunForPeace-hk1cu Its not stupidity and you are right about it being financial and as most are company cars and companies pay employees for gas but not for home electricity.

Hybrids are 20 times more likely to have a fire than ICE cars and 100 times more likely than BEVs, google it.
As for fires gas tanker fires are way more serious than a BEV fire and often destroy freeway sections agin google it.
